Regarding 2 - I've noticed that a lot of published works do use fake brands and stuff if they haven't got a product deal in place, so that's why I was more worried it might be needed, but if that's the AFF policy I reckon it'll be ok. The character being referenced isn't quite as well known as Supes, but still returns a shitload of google hits so I figure she's hit the old pop culture standard. Two things, really, 1) Where somebody has created an Original Character that they've got several writers/artists to do works on, does this still go under Original stories with the Original tag and a disclaimer of who owns the character or does it become a fanwork and need to go elsewhere? I don't know that this guy has got stories with his character on AFF yet, but certainly he has a few works elsewhere. He seems to have paid for some of them, suggesting monterary investment beyond a normal OC, although JD writes for free 2) I looked through the FAQs and citation bit but I didn't see for sure and this is probably such a stupid question that the whole post will be deleted and then the section of server with them overwritten with random 1s and 0s and then cut out and thrown in a foundry, but: If a character in an original story refers to someone from a published work, for the sake of argument Superman, do I need to put in citations and disclaimers and everything for that? I don't think it's come up before in my original strories because most folks were too busy gettin' horribly violated to make pop culture references, and I just don't like to get in trouble with the staff. Thanks for your review, I spent a while on different titles looking for something, smart and clever that hadn't already been done and failing all that went for the blatantly obvious "It's what happens" story title with only the tiniest bit of barely-there wordplay. I think more detail is would definitely have been better, I guess my writing is more limited by time than it used to be, sadly. Am currently working on a story which could serve as a sort-of prequel set during MK2. If I get it all written as planned, it will have three parts and Sheeva won't have a cock until the last part until using a bit of a magic potion thing*, and instead spends the first two parts sexually corrupting Sonya Blade, before using her new magic cock on Cage when he comes to rescue Sonya. That's the plan anyway, here's hoping I can get it written! *Fyr Water returns! heh. One for the fans of one of my other stories there...

They sure do! That's why I had to move back up the mountain and install guard marmots. All seriousness aside, and further to the previous points made, I think another issue you might have is one that I also have had - flicking through, it appears that most of your stories are oneshot stories, that means that they're in the first few pages for a bit, and then gone, and waiting for someone to go look for that specific fandom/scroll down past more recent fics. There's an apparent habit that a lot of readers seem to operate on a "review new stories, but not bother too much with older ones" basis. I found that when I did multipart stories I generally ended up with more reviews per hitcount spread over multiple chapters than than my oneshots. I guess I just prefer oneshots and take that hit to reviews! I quite like the five word "Liked it. Do more. MORE." reviews. Unless that's all I've had from someone I did a request for. Then it's kind've irksome. But that's a rant for another time, place, and state of sobriety. Oh, and your My Friend DJ story - didn't get to read it, but was looking through for oneshots and it looks like the formatting has all been lost. Just a wall o' text! Which wasn't the style of the others I flicked in, so assuming not intended. Heads up for you there

It's always good when a PWP fic with a specific kink finds a reader with that kink, totally makes it look like a much better story for the reader Yeah, I guess it is a little short, but it's still the longest thing I've finished in ages I don't know that I'll get a sequel done, but most times in the past when I've said I won't, I end up doing one. I kind've like the idea of him getting spit roasted by Sheeva and Sindel, after all.
