What's your writing process? Do you write without thought or not?
JayDee replied to camp30's topic in Writers' Corner
I've written some few things without any thought at all - that was the best stuff. -
Good idea for a thread I decided to try my hand at making a few of my own using google image search, a make your own demotivator site also found through said monolithic search engine, and the last guttering shreds of my creativity: http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c166/JoanDoePictures/DM-Crufts.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c166/JoanDoePictures/DM-Leela.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c166/JoanDoePictures/DM-shipping.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c166/JoanDoePictures/DM-SWD.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c166/JoanDoePictures/DM-Oface.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c166/JoanDoePictures/DM-Mel.jpg I don't actually have any of other folks's efforts.

If the Doctor from Dr. Who was real and asked you to go with him...
JayDee replied to sumeragichan's topic in Aimless Babble
Douglas Adams' involvement in Dr Who makes it a good little reference - I think he even recycled one or more of his unused scripts into a later Hitchhikers book -

I'd say No Way, and then run like hell. Of course, that's because I'd be worried he'd read my Dr Who fanfiction and have a 'Family of Blood' style fate in store for me. That blackhole is crowded enough already. Of course, if this was some sort of thing where I hadn't written said fanfic and he wouldn't find out, it'd have to be a towel. You always need a towel. Sometimes more than one, though 42 would be excessive. -

Review for Jenny From The Pond , a story with no sex, no in-story death, and possibly, a too-cute tourist. I kinda want to do a sequel where agricultural hormones washed into the pond by mistake make Jenny horny and some poor bastard gets seduced.... Story has over 450 hits, which I find mildly impressive given the whole nosex thing. Thank you for your review! It was fun tryna paint worthwhile pictures with the word prompt limits. Tried to get back into a few've 'em but nothing came of it. Thanks again!

You have to scroll down some for the Pokemon subsection: http://anime.adult-fanfiction.org/main.php?cat=27 There's a few hundred stories so I imagine at least one of them has Ash getting pregnant from Pikachu or however it works!

No love for South Korea's Psy and his Gangnam Style?

I'd totally give users $10,000 for a review! OK Folks, review any of my stories that doesn't currently have a review for an extra 10000 utterly worthless totally fun and cool points next to your forum username!

...ok, so if I ever did the Ending the Fan prequel about Moz's early days, I'd totally call it Before She Was Shameless and toss in every cliche I could think about. Including a vampire. I have the damn plot idea worked out. There's alchemy! And a nice piece of cheese! And far too much punctuation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dammit, write damn me JD. Write.

Like I said, was just definining why I did it!

Fucked in the head, I except. Some sorta severe serotonin deficiency perhaps. Looks out into bright happy smiling hot sunny days in the world and sees desolation and a race bent on self destruction and the fucking up of the poor majority by the obscenly rich majority. Messed up loser scumfuck who oughta be exterminated. Get some kinda sick pleasure from trying to engender visceral reactions of disgust and revulsion in their audience, maybe even enjoy the flames. Exposed to horror stories at a young age and had 'em imprinted on the psyche. Watership Down's rabbits had it tough. No desire to hurt anybody else, but find writing helps feel better sometimes, whether gory splatterbang or just warm and fuzzy. That's just me, of course. Only me. You with the pen and the hatchet quit getting all offended. I'm sure the others who've dabbled in dismemberment fiction are all lovely well balanced people you'd be quite happy to take home to Mother. Stephen King, I think it was, did a very good essay on the nature of writing and reading horror and such. Undoubtedly there's a few other things on it as well.

If you're interested in this topic, some folks have already answered this here: http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/index.php/forum/38-siggys-avatars-and-more/ Have fun!

Yes, but Rick Deckard is too busy in Los Angeles to work here as well.

I always copy my review before doing the human checker in case it loses it! Used to be some real problems with review spammers tho so I'm in favor of it.

Recent Site Outage: An apology and explanation
JayDee replied to ApolloImperium's topic in Site Announcements
Wow, redefining colossal pains in the ass for the 21st century we have the Domain Name Service! Thank you for all of your effort in getting the site active again. It takes a really dedicated personality - I'd've just stuck up a notice like "Site down. Gone fishin'" and left it a while. Thanks again! -
what celebrities or actors would u love to put on a boat and sink
JayDee replied to kagome26isawsome's topic in Forum Games
If anyone is thinking Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet & Billy Zane, I could totally recommend the perfect movie for you. -
It's good to see you feel this way - Good luck with your challenges.

If you don't leave fairly in depth reviews (positive or negative or both!) on the stories people have written for your request it may put others off writing 'em for you. No review, but a five word post for writing a six chapter story... I mean, "I've seen it"... really? Based on what I've read here, and clicking that story to see if you reviewed it, I would not write one of your requests. So this post is not all bad news for you I'd be interested if other writers who've done requests have alternate viewpoints

The question of what makes people review, ...again
JayDee replied to attackegg's topic in Writers' Corner
Damn my poor grammar! I meant approximate;y "as well as what you've said in the post above with regards the review spawning benfits of multiparters, I also feel the following reason [front page re-exposure] is a reason for multiparts getting reviews" I probably ought to have a beta reader for my forum posts.
