As you may have seen in this thread, AFF recently gained another two official tags: So I call upon the Harry Potter writers here present to turn out something requiring either or both of these tags. Some tips: Vampirism isn't usually considered vore, unless they spit the blood out and make a sausage with it before eating it. It doesn't have to be cannibalism! Crookshanks playing with and sensually eating his lookalike Ron accidently reduced to mouse size would also be vore. The following forms of violence are not usually considered extreme: Chinese burns, Dutch Rubs, Belgian Nudges, exasperated prodding. Try for something to really need that tag. DG... good question I guess. I'm just trying to avoid an issue where folks have Harry Potter erotically swallowed by a giant wolf prior to the sun getting eaten, and assuming it doesn't count because it's not Draco with the big mouth and stretchy voretastic throat. I review the vast majority of things I read, but I hardly get to read anything. The things I don't review are almost always things I couldn't think of a nice thing to say about them, because I don't like leaving wholely negative reviews. I get why this policy is a Bad Thing, but it works for me.

The Ultimate DCU Assassin Vs... 1) This story is damn near six years old. I haven't even hurt a fly in six years. Admittedly mostly because the Spiders here operate with absolutely ruthless efficiency against anything smaller than a Rottweiler. 2) It's fiction! And not only that, but it's fiction that is less extreme than a lot of actual comics. I'm not talking about things like Garth Ennis' Crossed, but look't Marvel Zombies with all the brain eating, Darkest Night with the heart ripping, and anything with Superboy Prime being boringly invinsibly over violent. When did you last read a comic? 1967? "Holy ripped condoms Batman! The stealthseminator is back in Gotham!" 3) No, seriously, I'm as balanced as any of the published horror writers. You go to Stephen King and say "Excuse me? This bit where the guy is getting all tangled up in his bowel? What's up with that?" 4) Six years, dude. I can't stress this enough. Did you just reach this story a few years after starting an email "Sir, I regret to inform you that your character of "Count Dracula" in the epynominous novel is somewhat nasty and you need to speak to a man with a couch?" 5) What were you doing even clicking this story? The third line down includes warning of mutilation and acid-cum. You're not reading House at Pooh Corner. 6) I have "Won't you come home Bill Bailey" going around in my head now. Can't stop laughing. This is why viewers of Fox News have such a high tolerance for bullshit. You can change your settings under 'My Settings' and then 'Notification Options' under your name at the top. Not sure if you have to also de-select existing threads for notifications tho'. I have it set for PM notifications only. Regarding the typo in the post, sorry about that. I once used Emphasised in place of Emphasised (EDIT - No joke, I fucked it up again. Empathised was the one I mis-used.), or possibly the other way round in a story, didn't notice, and it was about 8000 hits later before someone mentioned it, the other 7999 presumably having got that far and stoppped reading in confusion. I can't claim to have ever had a problem with a monster under the bed, but I wouldn't be surprised if all that sort of thing cleared up about the same time for most people, "Dammit, I can't self-explore with my imaginary friend looking at me!" I don't know that the heroine won really, she was incredibly passive throughout the story.
