Sheep... the prompt of doom. 11 stories after the violent unpleasantness of the Yule story, I found myself with overpowering urges to write a story using a "sheep god" and the phrase "sheepchaser" Lara Croft's Sheep God Trials was the result, Lara being in the kind of fandom that allows the finding of weird shit as well as guaranteeing a core of readers who will look at anything with Lara in. Shallow, moi? I don't know how well it's known, but Sheep Dog Trials are pretty popular in a lot of places, and if that wiki entry is right they originated in New Zealand. Go NZ! The trials of the sheep god are somewhat less pleasant, involving transformation to provide food... internal logic there at least! Edit: funny thing, how different fandoms and styles appeal... A fortnight ago's story was a cons M/M dream for Team Fortress 2, and in around two weeks received 86 hits. This story was posted 2 days ago, has a bunch of less pleasant codes, and currently stands at 520 hits! Funny how these things turn out sometimes. Thanks for your review - Heh, personally I think it would be great if all my stories had 1 star. The reason being is that then people would judge them from summary/title/codes/fandom and whatnot. I don't much care for the stars system, but I'd happily votespam all mine down to 1 if it wasn't likely to annoy the moderators for fixing the scores. I can say I have never had a star rating affect my choice to read any stories! The flashfic format keeps 'em short, otherwise I really have a tendancy to get too detailed. That's good for people who like the stuff I'm detailing - or so they tell me - and fricking tedious for those who don't (and they also tell me ) It was certainly meant to be cheesily funny and I am glad you found it amusing! You only see my writing about Lara, what you don't see is the many hours I once spent carefully guiding her through bear, wolf and T-Rex infested carverns, past crushing, stabbing and shocking death tracks, and a prick on a skateboard (who was apparantly even more of a prick in the remake...) with barely any death or turning to gold (bloody hand of bloody midas or whatever it was bloody called). I was *good* at Tomb Raider! I went adventuring! Storywise? Uh... I did a cons lesbian story under my old pen name that was well received. That was quite short too. Never stop the jokes! I had more I couldn't fit in. At one point I was thinking of cutting the first few paragraphs, just to see if I could ram (snicker) more in there. Including about getting rammed, men beeing baaastards, pulling wool over eyes etc etc etc. I could a punned to death. Don't be sheepish about it.

A first for me with the Dream prompt as I re-visited a previous prompt for a second part: The Horse and His Cock. There's a few folks who've done the prompts adding each one to ongoing storyline (you know who you are ) on and off, and I admire the extra level of challenge that brings - same with the extra level in the drabbles and twitfics, though in a different sense of course. As a PWPer (and 950+ views and a total of 6 reviews on two parts for degeenerate pwp probably has some of the more talented authors a little wound up.... sorry folks!) I just take the easy "different topic each week" button and only take the nosex route if it seems worthwhile (3 times now! 3! Proudest of slumber...) ...I don't know where I was going with that paragraph. I read it back and it kind of makes no sense. Just had to stop typing for a minute and sort something out and I completely lost my thread. I leave it here as a memento to "wha? huh?" Fairy Slayer - Thank you for your review of The Scout's Dream Yeah, I totally wanted to make it clear it was all a dream. The title may have been a little blatant in that regard, but at least it led to much merriment for me when I saw this week's Dream prompt I'm pleased the intensity came across, I was hoping for a fast acting came-a-gusher type feel. Related to an old promotional comic/one off war mode, I totally feel there was more to the Soldier/Demoman relationship than a deep love of projectile weapons... well, unless it was a certain fleshy type. So writing the Soldier getting curious about the Scout seemed natural to me My name is enough? Heh, I blush! You really are too kind, especially as I really don't expect most folks to want to look at some of the hardcore PWP shit I write. Hilariously enough a map of the same name was added to Team Fortress 2 in the community map pack update last thursday, but I hadn't had a go by the time I wrote the story on Friday so set it in Harvest which is a nice place to hang out... and kill people. So, I wrote The Scout's Dream for nightfall, and the very next prompt is? Dream! Heh, maybe for the new prompt I should do "The Heavy's Dream" - Something with a lot of moist and delicious Sandvich action. Heh... I'm not entirely happy with my characterisation of the Soldier. I don't think I really pushed how absolutely insane he is. Ahh well. Thanks to you both for the reviews on The Scout's Dream BronxWench - What can I say.... Wow, a story from the past... my story Mike Rapes A Dyke has had a 13th review: It's many years later, but thanks anonymous reviewer for that one. I have a very roughly planned sequal, Mike Rapes A Skinhead, which is intended to play with the whole hollywood concept that you can do what you want to Nazis because they're evil fucks. ...Oh, what the heck thanks to all the past reviewers for your reviews! Positive and negative I appreciated them all. One other one to specifically comment on Yes, Mike hates being called Mike. I used it in the title for two reasons 1) I don't much care for Mike, he's a professional amoral asshole, so fuck what he likes 2) I liked how it rhymed. Reason 2 is sadly the main one. ...how on earth did I have time to write 10K of mostly coherant prose?
