pittwitch Thanks for this review of Comic Book Guy's Snuff Movie - I sometimes have trouble with the recaptcha on reviews. I failed the Turing test too. I may be substandard spambot... Yeah, I figure Ruth would have been at an odd angle balance wise to jerk and hold but she enjoyed herself so it's all good in the long run! I can honestly say I've never seen a snuff film either, but that movie 8mm was fucking awesome! (...though I like a lot of Nicolas Cage movies so I probably can't talk.) Wow, a story from the past... my story Mike Rapes A Dyke has had a 13th review: It's many years later, but thanks anonymous reviewer for that one. I have a very roughly planned sequal, Mike Rapes A Skinhead, which is intended to play with the whole hollywood concept that you can do what you want to Nazis because they're evil fucks. ...Oh, what the heck thanks to all the past reviewers for your reviews! Positive and negative I appreciated them all. One other one to specifically comment on Yes, Mike hates being called Mike. I used it in the title for two reasons 1) I don't much care for Mike, he's a professional amoral asshole, so fuck what he likes 2) I liked how it rhymed. Reason 2 is sadly the main one. ...how on earth did I have time to write 10K of mostly coherant prose?

BronxWench - Thanks for your review on "Poppies! Poppies!" - I may be alone in this, but I think it worked well for the prompt simply because every time I think of the story I have an overpowering urge to immitate the Wicked Witch talking about poppies. He really is heartless!

Gurochan has added a trial furry board! GORE! FUR! Gory Fur! http://gurochan.net/fur/ That's right! As long as it doesn't descend into a whirlpool of drama and so is kept around by the admin, it sounds like it could be a great place for pictures of anthros red in rooth and claw! Already a few artists have expressed their happiness at finally being able to post their furry work on gurochan, and there's "lashings of the old ultra-violence" in place already. As Alex might say. Yay.

Hi, I noticed that with the move to the public domain, one of the stories in the Oz section is using character detail from Gregory Maguire's book Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West: http://books.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600005755 In particular, the name Elphaba for the Wicked Witch is not in the original book, and the fanfiction as a whole appears based on the background details for characters in Gregory Maguire's work. While Gregory Maguire's book is obviously based on the public domain works, I am not sure if it would need to be moved to the main Books section with a different disclaimer reflecting the input from the new book/musical(I suspect it may have done originally before the necessary top level re-write?), as I don't think that Wicked: etc is in the public domain.

Hmmm, so, Week 19 prompt slumber led to me scraping the bottom of the idea barrel with The Slumber Party of Evil Doom, because I didn't want to do another sleeping sex story so soon and, well, my imagination must be kinda narrow when it comes to that shit Apollo - Thanks for the review - She could always redeem them, but I think that might be Angelic euphemism for kill anyway... "There are sinners in Sodom!" "Redeem them! This is probably pedantic of me, but probably any technical innovations that are out of patent or have otherwise somehow become genericised. Patent expiry in the united states apparantly takes 17-20 years depending on factors. Edit - Also, your problem with logging into the forum. Someone else once indicated they were trying to log in with their fiction archive username/password, but you have to re-register for the forum. Not sure if that's your thing, but if it is, hope it helps!

Apollo: Thanks for your review on the Poppy prompted story. Like I noted about I pretty much had to go with Oz for this one, Poppy field! I like being literal with it I guess... Tin Man is definitely a strange figure, he's the only one who carries a lethal weapon, well except maybe the Lion's claws and teeth...! Now that'd be a buddy cop movie: "The Tin Man carries a Lethal Weapon, The no-longer-Cowardly Lion Is one!"

Apollo Thanks for your review on the drowsy story - I think it's a fair point about the prompt use being a little heavy, it's something of a tendancy I have had with the prompts to pretty much take a really unsubtle use and bash people with it - like all the poppy mentions in the most recent I did, or all the moons in the Luna story! And of course, it is just based on a folk tale. There is no real Jenny Greenteeth... at least, not since she was eligible for NHS dentistry.

Apollo - Thanks for your review - You can always rely on Luna to see things from a different perspective. Or possibly a differently sane perspective.
