  1. All right, this one my phone didn't learn from me: When I typed "friends with," its first suggestion was "benefits."

Okay, yes, that was actually what I was going to type, but that's beside the point. :)

At least it didn’t suggest “a pickup truck,” which would mean your phone thinks you use people. No, it sounds like your phone think’s you’re a nice guy and wants you to be happy.

or “friends with Phoebe, Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Joey and Monica” or it would mean your phone thinks you need to really over-specify 15 year ended sitcoms.

I turned out to be the weird one cause I didn’t know what that meant. :spank2:

and I gave her best friend a hug. Cause apparently not everyone sleeps with their friends.

  2. From JayDee on November 21, 2019 I had a lot of fun writing the Jace/Alice scene. As soon as I had the idea of Alice daring Jace to figure out what turns her on, I felt like I really had a lock on the whole scene.. The idea of Snowdrift being a rescue dog and therefore eternally grateful to Jace came from Jomahawk. Then I had the fun job of figuring out how what the Wishful equivalent of that relationship would be. Thank you, and thanks for the review!
  3. Re: “Wishful” From Sithlordshades on November 21, 2019 Actually, “Country Summer” has one chapter left to go. But I have a lot of writing to do on it. Glad you’re enjoying it. Thanks for the comments!
  4. Re: “Wishful” From Fairy-Slayer on November 20, 2019 The side effects have only begun. The question now is, how much can the Wishful bleed into the real world? I had a ton of fun writing that chapter. There's no substitute for hog-wild male fantasy. We'll be seeing a good bit of politics in the next chapter. Some of the fetish stuff is not what I would come up with on my own. But stretching my limits is part of why I do the odd request story. I'm enjoying the cultural stuff. I imagine the kain living in loose bands like the Comanches, humans living in discrete kingdoms like medieval Europeans, and the Benata having a vast bureaucracy like the feudal Chinese. And bunnies in warrens. They remade The Prisoner? This is the first I've heard of it. It can't be weirder than the original, can it? Thanks for the review!
  5. Re: “Wishful” From Jomahawk2694 on November 20, 2019 Never played that, but I'll take your word for it. Thanks! Writing each half was a very different experience from the other. With Neva's part, there was the constant challenge of figuring out exactly what she would and could do to please Jace with her feet and legs. Writing Alice's part, in contrast, was just pure salacious fun. That's not really going to be a thing in this story. I see Alice as someone who considers introspection and facing her own issues to be an important part of learning to become a therapist. So she's aware of her own incestuous desires and has made peace with them. So glad you liked that. Well, you're going to have to wait a bit; as usual, I've got nineteen -- okay, twenty right now -- other stories that are clamoring for my attention, too. (Did I mention that one of them has the working title of "Waltney World"?)
  6. Chapter 4 of “Wishful” is up! Jace loves his dog, Snowdrift, and she loves him back. But her counterpart in the Wishful loves him in a very different way.
  7. In the interest of transparency (hey, it's right in the thread title), I must confess that I recently broke one of my own rules and allowed the List of Twenty to expand to 22 stories. One of these is a short story that I found so erotically compelling that I couldn't resist the urge to start writing it. It's titled "Conscious Sedation," and it's told from the POV of an anesthesiologist who takes advantage of a very young, not-very-awake female patient. Yeah, I know, I’m a mess. The other new story is the one I'm writing for the AFF Holiday Party. I wanted to get started on it to give it a reasonable chance of being finished in time for Christmas. It has no title yet, but it's about a new reindeer joining Santa's team. There's a lot of work involved in getting ready for The Big Night, but there's also a fun initiation. Fortunately, having just posted "Lincoln's Lesson" got the list back down to 21 stories, and I expect to post "Conscious Sedation" soon, which will make it an even and completely not-insane 20 again. Speaking of finishing things, tonight I completed the rough draft of chapter 4 of “Wishful.” Assuming that I have enough free time to proof it, it could be posted as soon as tomorrow evening.
  8. I’m in. Already started writing. Reindeer sex!
  9. Re: “Lincoln’s Lesson” From Fairy-Slayer on November 17, 2019 Yes, I had some fun imagining what they'd all have on under their clothes. Seemed like a trait that might run in the family. I was really uncertain about how to resolve the situation until I thought of that line and then thought of having Lola say it. I guess his standards of comfort are different for textbooks than for comics. Half the reason I wrote the story was those bits, which just kept coming to me. "Dang it, where are my glasses?" Thanks for the beta-help and the review!
  10. My relatively innocent Loud House flashfic “Lincoln’s Lesson” is now posted. Here’s the summary: Alternate version of “Undie Pressure.” Lincoln prefers to read comics in his underwear because reading with his clothes on is uncomfortable and distracting. That is, until his sisters find a way to make reading in his underwear even more uncomfortable and distracting.
  11. At last, chapter 3 of “Flesh” is posted. Grant puts his mom to the test, and she’d better not fail.
  12. I often don’t write stories for the Christmas story jam for lack of good ideas. So this year, I’m just going with a bad idea. Three words: anthropomorphic reindeer orgy.
  13. Then I have some good news: I’ve started working on a sequel that will include more action with Rita and a couple of other mature women, as well as some different lolis and a teen or two.
  14. Hello, all. I've been traveling, so I haven't had a chance to post any updates until today. A few things: First, I've finally finished the rough draft of chapter 3 of "Flesh." I'm hoping to get it polished up and posted before the week is out. Second, I think I'm done with the "finish two, start one" thing. The number of partly posted chaptered stories I have has shrunk from eight to five, and that's where I'll leave it, at least for the near future. Third, I have a very short Loud House one-shot that should be ready for beta soon. Nothing hardcore, just an amusing little vignette. Fourth: SWP1, I have indeed made some progress with the next chapter of “Wishful.” Hoping to have it ready some time next week. Also, did you happen to check out “Day of the Deadly”?
  15. I’d like to salute the folks here who are doing NaNo this year. I’m still trying to finish the novel I started two NaNos ago, but I hope to be back in it with a new novel next year.

I’ve never managed one but I think it is a heck of an achievement for those who do. Can totally understand needing a break!

  16. From JayDee on October 31, 2019 Day of the Deadly by George Glass You could have even waited until November 1st. I've been doing lessons on Duolingo. I tried not to overdo it with the Spanish, though; a little adds flavor, but too much seems pretentious. That's really what I was going for. I did a little research. Now that Dia de Muertos is a national holiday in Mexico, everybody there celebrates it to some extent, but it seems to be the southerners who originated it. Thanks! I've seen ofrendas that included cans or bottles of the departed's favorite beverage, and when I first began to conceive of this story, Graciela chugging one was the first image that came into my head. I figured Fish couldn't just be a total mustache-twirler; he had to have a little humanity to him. Enrique is used to doing things that way. Actual Mexican Marines who do anti-drug ops wear masks so the cartel types won't know who they are and have their families killed. Thank you! Cunnilingus isn't my strongest subject, so it's gratifying to hear that. I do believe we did. *takes the others’ hands and bows*
  17. I learned a bit about yōkai from watching Rosario + Vampire. There was even a spider woman in one episode. I guess anime can be culturally enriching. IMO, looking at the obvious thing to do and then doing the opposite is often the key to great storytelling.
  18. And look who just darkened the Halloween Party with one of his signature “reviews”: http://original.adult-fanfiction.org/review.php?set=read&no=600109450
  19. From DebbieCync on October 27, 2019 Thanks! But there will be another ten chapters at some point, as I’ve started work on a sequel.
  20. Re: “Everything She Needs” From Lady Freelove on October 26, 2019 Thank you! I think a lot of it is (a) practice and (b) experimenting with new ideas. When I thought about writing “Wild Side,” I tried to think of what would make it more than just another father-daughter story, and then I thought about their having two levels of communication – the things they say, and the meaning beneath them. It was an experiment, but I think it worked. Thanks for the review. And keep on writing!
  21. Re: “Wild Side” From Lady Freelove on October 26, 2019 Thanks! I really enjoy writing these two characters.
  22. Re: “Day of the Deadly” From InBrightestDay on October 25, 2019 LOL! That may be the funniest first line of a review I’ve ever read. Turns out the underworld is a real sausage party. That was a spur-of-the-moment dialogue choice. I know that an expert can reload a bolt-action rifle in less than 3 seconds, but I wasn’t sure whether Enrique, who has presumably been practicing with semiautomatics, would actually be able to do it that fast. So I decided not to try to put a time frame on it. The whole “man in a woman’s body” thing was something I’d never written before, so a lot of amusing thoughts like that came up. It was still pretty awkward to write sometimes, because I was like, “Marta grabbed him...grabbed her...grabbed them?” I didn’t either. Ultimately, I just chose sex over gender. This being a Halloween/Day of the Dead story, I felt like I had to include at least one horror element. Thanks for reviewing it!
  23. Thank you! You are most welcome, and thank you. Lana is one of my favorite Loud sisters, so naturally I wanted to begin and end with her. And the rain just seemed necessary for a happy ending. Most of my stories draw at least a little bit from my own experiences. I suppose that’s true for a lot of writers – maybe even all of them. Indeed it is. Not sure when it will be ready to start posting; I have a lot of other stories in the works, too, including a couple of other Loud House fics. Hope you’re enjoying them. And thanks for the comments!
  24. He’s got a work ethic, I’ll give him that.
  25. I’ve just posted my story for the AFF Halloween Party, titled “Day of the Deadly.” When the narcos killed Graciela’s brother Enrique, all hope of getting their village out from under the cartel’s thumb died with him. But on the night when the veil between this world and the next grows thin, there may be one more chance.
