I felt that I couldn’t make Maya a passive participant throughout the story. At some point, she had to either rebel against it or embrace it, and I knew which option would be more satisfying. Why do I taste spearmint? Yeah, just you. I did write a story like that (“Side Effects”), but that one is much darker than this story. Thanks for another uplifting review!

    Re: “Make It All Better” From Lady Freelove on June 10, 2020 How often that doesn’t happen (and what happens as a result) is a theme I keep coming back to in my writing. That seems at least plausible. I think Nancy Friday wrote something a bit like that about women who came of age during the sexual revolution--that afterward, a lot of them renounced their youthful sexual adventurism and blamed the '60s drug culture for it. If you're referring to her relationship with the Beast, she didn't relinquish it; she just took control over it. At the end, the Beast is still very much alive in her (as it is in all of us). It just doesn’t rule her life the way it threatened to. On the other hand, if you’re talking about the Angie/Daddy relationship, Angela basically outgrew it.

    Lately, Chrome has been randomly assigning the icons for my frequently visited sites. Right now, AFF has the IMDB icon. 

    There’s a joke in there somewhere, but I can’t seem to pry it out.

      Chrome simply recognized that all mainstream entertainment is pretty much the same these days and gave up trying to keep track of the supposed differences. At this point I think a lot of straight-laced people would be delighted to revel in the sex lives of their favorite fictional characters. Expect a lot of new hits on your fanfics. :)

    “The Wrong Locker Room” is posted. A first-grade fox-boy is tricked into going into the older boys’ locker room. But what starts as a nightmare turns into a dream. Yeah, I know, the "Little kid stumbles into the big kids' locker room" scenario has been done to death, but that's because it's so good.

    Here’s something I’ve been wondering lately: How would readers feel about fanfic that isn’t based on the fandom itself (ie, the actual source material), but on porn of that fandom? I’m thinking about this because I have ideas for stories for both Lilo and Stitch and The Simpsons that would be based on R34 art of those fandoms, rather than on canon. I’ve only seen the first Lilo and Stitch movie -- not the sequel or the series -- so I wouldn’t be able to write a canon-compatible story about those characters. Likewise for The Simpsons, which I haven’t watched in over a decade. But these story ideas persist in my head despite that.

    It’s been a long while since I’ve had a haircut. I’m starting to look like Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Maybe that’s why I’m thinking four-dimensionally. :)

      I’ve mostly been trimming my own hair, bit by bit and occasionaly buzzing it all off, for over 15 years. In other words, I don’t care how awful it looks because it distracts from my face, my body, my personality, etc. ;)

      There has been a distinct advantage in my decision (prompted by an allergy to hair dye) to let my grey hair fly proudly. :lol:

Once this idea took hold of me, I couldn't let go of it. Will do! There's one chapter and an epilogue still to come. Well, you won't see "when," but you will see "after." And you'll probably like it.

    "For the Price of One" now has more than 20,000 Dragon Prints, so I guess I should keep writing it. However, chapter 6 of that story is going to take a little longer to write than I expected, because it's ended up having two major scenes instead of one. Meanwhile, chapter 2 of "Keene's College Weekend" is in beta. It didn’t end up being three times as long as chapter 1 (which I had misremembered as being 2000 words and not 2700), but it’s certainly more than twice as long. SWP1, hope you had a good Memorial Day weekend, too.

This story was inspired by a Tumblr post from a woman who deliberately left her dryer full of hers and her daughters’ panties when a hunky Russian repairman came over. I thought that was a great concept and ran with it (with the poster’s permission).

Not when I've got other stories that I think you would like better. Yup. I'm sorry this was a hard read for you. But I did put all the appropriate warning labels on it. I have many sides. I don't apologize for that. But I appreciate the compliment about my writing skill. I'd suggest that you avoid my other stories that have the Rape tag. You've already read the only one that's relatively benign ("Wish List"), which has the Rape tag only to warn away the easily triggered. Now, if you want to read a story with a similar level of fantasy but that’s much more up your alley content-wise, you might check out “Just Doin’ What We Do.”
