Well, if you're really wanting to look at old challenges and post 'em up, any one of us will be happy to delete 'em no matter the age. The AN chapters and such, though, I won't be getting to until we get to that subdomain for the clean up, most likely. Those have to be killed direct in the database.

LMAO, I understand the rivalry very, very well. That one is about as bad as the one between Army and Air Force. First of all, a few of them were added to the site before your 18th birthday. For that reason, they were deleted, as was ALL your pre 18 content. There are notices throughout the site which are very clear, in that you must be 18 to use any PART of the site. Secondly, you had stories hidden for bad disclaimers. As we notify for those via the review board, we're also very clear as to the action that will be taken should you ignore what you're being notified about. In that for instance, the user has 7 days (or a couple more, depending on how busy I am) to correct the issue, before the story is hidden. Once the story is hidden, the user has an additional 30 days to correct the issue, before it is deleted. So, in point of fact, they weren't misplaced, but deleted, for the reasons given above.

Actually, no. None of us are required to give notice for actions taken for that sort of thing, deletion of plagiarism, deletion of minors, and etc. Personally, I'd rather have something hidden and then have the user correct it, rather than do an outright deletion to begin with. Of course, the exceptions to that are plagiarists and minors. We find them, we delete them, NO warning whatsoever.

Yes there is, and the "side comments" you mention, those get hidden too, when the time has passed for correction without that being removed. Flaming, flamebaiting, and etc are not something that is allowed here any longer. Once a story is unhidden, everything ATTACHED to it is open for view as well. Only when a story is deleted, do you lose the reviews that are attached.

Well, unless you deleted it yourself, the story is simply hidden, not removed. As to why it was hidden, if you look at what you put in there, while it does indeed resemble what we ask for, the flame you added to it needs removed.

As with bad disclaimers, we GIVE you plenty of time to correct the situation. First step is to hide, then it's deleted 30 days after it's been hidden.

Yes, you can still do a/n's IN your chapters, we simply ask that you keep them brief. The limit imposted for a/n's within a chapter is 600 words, per chapter. Not 600 words per story. Hope that helps.

With a collection of microfics, I gave each one a separate chapter with an "index" chapter listing tags and whatnot for each microfic (so they could jump to the one they wanted).
