  1. That I seriously doubt. As I said, this whole thing is being hammered out to begin with. Currently though, what your disclaimer does is make it so that if I must do anything, it's simply to delete the content in question. Of course, if I did not, then the site itself would be in jeopardy by my refusal to comply. It also makes it so that I do not have to release any information about the users specifically to whoever it is making it to where I must delete content.
  2. The fanfiction category, tech support forum, bug tracker, and report category/forums are the only areas where guests can post. In order to post anywhere else, and in fact, to view the rest, you have to create a login.
  3. LOL. Well, like I said before, the battle mod, the casino, and the arcade are all being rewritten just as the forum itself was. That takes time. With the latest version being no more than about six weeks old, the modification have to catch UP to it.
  4. "No, pagliaccio non son" from Pagliacci - Luciano Pavarotti
  5. For hidden stories (usually disclaimer issues) Please remember to tell us both the title of the story, and what subdomain the story is IN. Without that information, no one can look and find out how to help you. Deleted stories Stories added to the wrong subdomain are deleted as soon as we find them. Please remember to use the jump menu located in both your profile and your user panel. Either one will get you to the right subdomain for where you need to add your work. Emails sent, and then stories hidden Please, please do not ignore the emails we send regarding author note chapters, excessive author notes, review demands, and the like. If there is a problem in your story which we've notified you via email on, if you choose not to correct it, it will get hidden, just as if we left you a warn/review. That email sent still counts in that manner. Finally, if a story is hidden, the user can STILL access it via their user panel. It's not missing, simply pulled from the public listing until whatever it is that is wrong, is corrected. Once the issue mentioned is corrected, we do unhide it.
  6. Deleted both, emailed user on how to use the jump menu
  7. It's simple, really. Visit your twitter page, copy/paste the url from it to that field, click alter profile.
  8. Well hell. Thought it was there. In any case, it is now.
  9. What we need from you is that you either have a story ready for upload, or that you have one you are in the process of writing which WILL be ready for upload before creating any kind of category.
  10. Well, it only takes a minute to set up a twitter account. Aside from that, the user has who's twitter is being followed, has complete control of how that works. You can subscribe to a user, and then get an email alert when that person "tweets". Just like you subscribe to a user on ffn, and get an email alert.
  11. What happened, was I changed something in one of the control files, and forgot to make sure the paths were changed as well, by subdomain. So, it's all fixed.
  12. The archive simply doesn't have the capacity to do it. That's why we added the twitter link to the profile today. Your users (if they have a twitter account), subsribe to you, and when you post you have an update, they get an email.
  13. LOL, that's okay. It's why I moved it after all.
  14. it's toasted too
  15. toasted...
  16. Moving this....for future, please post these inquiries in the forum for it. This isn't a tech support question.
  17. Should be getting the twitter linkie worked in this weekend...

  18. I'm also looking at some additional things I might be able to add in as well. We'll see what's available though.
  19. There had been a bug created by one of the crashes, where all the stories restored had the add chapter to a story function enabled for each story, open to all users. A couple years ago I changed them all, and then let people know that if they wanted that option on their story, they had to tick it back on. Those two chapters ARE the flames.
  20. They've FINALLY put the Attack Shop in to development for this version of the software. Unfortunately, they have no ETA for any releases yet.
  21. Casino software is in the process of being rewritten to work in php 5, for this version of the forum. They've not announced an ETA on release date yet. However, I will keep looking for a possible replacement. I don't have to stick with a specific modification writer, if I find something else that works as well.
  22. Data transferred
  23. Your disclaimer is missing the not for profit statment. That's why it's hidden. Correct that, and it'll get unhidden.
  24. What you just did works. I'm aware of the issue, it's something that happened with the core software upgrade last week. I just sent it to you, be sure to check your junk/spam folder as well, to make sure it didn't go there rather than your inbox.
