All right, this one my phone didn't learn from me: When I typed "friends with," its first suggestion was "benefits." Okay, yes, that was actually what I was going to type, but that's beside the point.

Managed to write 400 words today for the first time in ages. And worked in two of those week 210 straight from Hell prompts with an idea on using the last still. This is nothing for y’all NaNoWriMo folks or even just regular folks, but it felt good to me! Now just gotta finish, and polish.

From JayDee on November 21, 2019 I had a lot of fun writing the Jace/Alice scene. As soon as I had the idea of Alice daring Jace to figure out what turns her on, I felt like I really had a lock on the whole scene.. The idea of Snowdrift being a rescue dog and therefore eternally grateful to Jace came from Jomahawk. Then I had the fun job of figuring out how what the Wishful equivalent of that relationship would be. Thank you, and thanks for the review!

I’ve been looking forward to the dog chapter!

The 2009 version. was actually less stupid-weird but perhaps a bit more creepy, though it still was heavy on the jarring aspects at times (especially at first, IIRC). The battle of wills between Ian McKellen and Jim Caviezel played out great throughout. Best of all, while still bizarre, it had a satisfying conclusion that actually made sense (in the realm of the show). I actually liked it a lot. …but then again I also really liked Rubicon and Perception, so take any of my TV recommendations with a grain of salt. Also it's probably not great as fanfic source material because all the balloon fetishists will complain if you don't do enough with Rover.
