  1. Runsinshadows

    Confused

It looks like I am not the only one confused by this. One site that I checked, stated that either way was correct, you just needed to be consistent in your useage. So far, that one seems to be the most senisble, as it is something I have noticed being done. I have been known to completely reword a sentence to avoid the issue, but that isn't always possible, especially when you are referring to a person directly. Thanks for the input. If nothing else, I no longer feel as if I am stupid for not knowing which way is correct.

  2. Praetor

    Confused

I go out of my way to reword such sentences to escape it. The House of Ross, The place with the Ross family lives, The building full of Rosses, etc.

    Confused

I’ve always gone with the convention of adding the possessive ‘s for a family name, like the Ross’s house, but not for an individual’s name, like Gus’ friend. (And this is why my editors want to kill me...)

  4. I’m glad you found the humor in those bits. To me, humor is an essential part of any Loud House story because the show is chiefly a comedy. Being a good big brother seems to be important to Lincoln. Of course, in this case, it’s part of what gets him into trouble... I wanted to throw Lincoln a change-up pitch. He might have been able to resist if it had been Girl Jordan again, but Ronnie Anne showing up instead caught him off guard. Lincoln keeps finding himself thrust into situations in which his will to resist is sorely tested...and continues to fail. Couldn’t help but get in a little jibe about our favorite tiara-wearing tattletale. Thanks for the review!

  5. i honestly don’t know… i’ve been dictating stories in my head as long as i can remember.…. i was shipping quietly before i even new it was a thing, using characters to learn how to draw and write my own… and writing better endings to works i found needlessly bleak or self defeating. at some point… i just went looking for more stories. it just seemed so natural, like slipping into a familiar road. it was webcomics and images before out-and-out fanfiction though… that i remember.
