  1. "Coach, not only will I do it for you, I... I... I... yes, yes, I'll do it for you." Bobby ~ The Waterboy.
  2. Basic human incompetance works pretty well. There was a story in the news recently of a woman informed of her mother's death, only for the doctors to have confused her with another patient.
  3. Well, going from the Valkyries you've got all the warriors they gathered up to fight for the gods at Ragnarok, the Einherjar. Supposedly they got used for a few scraps before the end of time too.
  4. The Slave of Bones has 22415 hits and now 3 reviews. Which presumably means it is terrible. Ah well. Still doing better than Honor of the Slytherin with 42636 hits and 3 reviews! Thank you for your comment! I'm happy that you feel it has potential, but unfortunately the story is already complete. Should any other author want to write to sequel I'd be happy with that (which is unlikely, I fear!), but I've got nothing more to do for it, hence the Complete tag! Sorry for any disappointment caused.
  5. The Crushing of Cassie Cage Thank you for your review! I actually quite liked the character. Some of her intro interractions and her selfie fatality were pretty funny. Still, this was a re-write of my original that took a bit of time so it is nice to see people enjoying it and it does make it feel like salvaging the descriptions from my old stories I won't post anymore was worth it.
  6. So, the latest of my old re-writes, Phoebe’s Black Day has irritated at least one reader, and not for the frankly appalling level of racism: Thank you for your comment. I refer you to the disclaimer/author's note at the top, I haven't ripped myself off, I've re-written an old story of mine to remove the real person elements and make it about a TV show. I'm able to do this due to the very weak one dimensional characterisation of my writing, which allows a few name changes and the addition of a few hundred words of Friends flavor to make it about someone else. I suppose I should apologise for any readers clicking expecting an entirely new story from me, only to find me re-using my old descriptions, but I do confirm very quickly that it is a re-write so that would be the point to stop reading if readers require only brand new text.
  7. No worries, I knew you were super busy! Thank you again.
  8. Thank you for your time, DG! I have moved the story into it so it's not sitting all empty and lonely and such.
  9. Thanks DG! My aim is to write a story in which canon characters are in character before the 200 mark.
  10. Thanks folks!
  11. This comes under & Journals I guess. As of today I have 100 seperate uploads on AFF as JayDee. Not stories; in the Harry Potter drabbles collection I have 9 drabbles, and some of the other oneshots might be viewed as continuations of the same story - For the Honour of The Slytherin, For the Profit of The Slytherin and Revenge Of The Ravenclaw, f'example - but still, a milestone. Would have got there sooner, but for deleting the old celeb stories years ago, and a couple others lost to time. Can't shake that whole "Quantity over quality" feeling though. I know some of it is actually pretty readable - Shokan Lust ain't bad at all! - and some of it, well, Still, something of a milestone and only just over ten years after registering! Well, that's me done marking the 100 mark. Only ten more years of membership for another 100?
  12. Category name: Extreme Ghostbusters Section catagory to be in: Cartoons Do you have any stories for it?: Yes
  13. I realise it is too late for this case, but make sure you also save the author names in your bookmarks in future
  14. 'fraid not. If you could recall the author one of the admins could confirm if it was deleted due to staff action, or if not their profile might have a note? I don't recall the story myself.
  15. But if he was at a hot springs wouldn't the steam or air moisture make it pretty clear there was someone there? Then it would just be a case of flinging tomatoes or some such?

  17. Interesting thought - I think in this story's case it establishes quick enough that the characters don't stay dead, it's only a oneshot.
  18. I aways thought it was great for stress relief and a creative outlet. And then I met frittle.
  19. Basically back as a corporeal quasi-demonic immortal instead of a normal human. Thanks for the clarification!
  20. Thank you! but sorry, 15 years and younger is too young for me to write or think about and even if they were a couple years older I don't think I could make it work. Still, I'm sure someone will take it for you
  21. Looking at my stories, I've made Amelia Bones a rapist, Flitwick a necrophile, Luna a lesbian, McGonagall a student seducer, Harry a secret glory holer, Draco an enslaver and Hermione a dog fucker. And only the Flitwick thing has any kind of subtext in canon. Maybe. As such, I fear that I've done more than many to propogate the sort of terrible PWP stories that shit all over the HP characters, settting, and plots. In HP fanfic terms - I'm a monster. I do things in the setting that make no possible sense. My muse was so disgusted they packed up and went off around the world for eight months, and then came back and forced me to write a second person story. And even I wasn't able to work out how the "big butt, big breast" requirement could possibly work in a story that involves "femHarry" "in the first year" in a "brothel". It's like the OP is the only pedophile in the world who doesn't remember what the other 11 year olds looked like when they were a kid. Maybe the character could be played by one of the ladies linked in thebooblover's always entertaining and sometimes quite scary requests. Still, as long as readers and writers are happy I suppose the "Don't like, Don't read" mantra makes a lot of sense. I always like to suggest it for any stories likely to cause distress, although sadly I still have English majors emailing me in tears over my grammar and complete lack of understanding of the vocative comma, which I thought was a Brooklyn low-fi band. Possibly the best way to protest unliked requests is to make liked requests, or write liked stories, or support liked authors doing the proper-in-character-canon-compliant smut with concrit, or other comments. Positivity is more effective than negativity! Which is why I, as a negative asshole, never achive much of anything and instead just complain about stuff that pisses me off on the internet all the time. Like magusfang. That guy... *shakes fist* I kid... I kid... or do I?
  22. Yes. Yes it is.
  23. My avatar cannot be explained. It just is.
  24. Edit: Thanks BW!
