Well, what I do to confirm the obvious dupes is search the db by email. Often, because the archive doesn't send a confirmation mail, people will think they weren't registered, and then REregister. Now, when they reregister with identical information, that actually causes them problems in trying to login and use the archive. I generally hear about those right away and from the users themselves. In any case, as it's not the pen name itself that's unique, this is why you see many with an identical pen name.

Explain what you mean by "security codes"? No don't think it's a time out issue, but more a security setting I tightened up. But, without knowing what codes and/or errors you get, EXACTLY, I haven't a clue where to look.

It could very have something to do with the library's filtering options which you've apparently *ahem* bypassed.

So, now that I'm becoming used to the install interface, I've noticed that some of the games will load with no scorekeeping option after install. It does no good to manually set 'em, as there's something wrong with the .tar file itself. So if you see a game appear in the menu while I'm installing, and all of a sudden it's NOT there, it's because after I went to edit properties and put it in a category, I would've seen this problem and then deleted that particular game.

Forgot to add you may have to do this several times in order for it to "stick" in IE. This isn't an issue in any other browser like this. Those, you follow the steps, close your browser, restart it, and it's done.

Thing is, by saying it was trying to force you, that would make it so I would look into an issue. As that's not an expected behavior. If you're using IE, you're going to not only have to clear cache and cookies, but history as well. You'll also need to restart your machine. IE is pissy at BEST with cookies.

Clear your cache and cookies. I did some adjustments to the login and cookie settings. Open ID isn't a forced part of the login, it simply appears as an OPTION. You bypass that field and simply input your user name and password like always.
