It was the text emote < 3 that you used. The script parses that as an open ended html tag and end of files it. In effect, hiding all the text after the open tag with no command.

In the stories you're trying to do as file uploads, are you trying to add them as .htm/.html or .txt? If you're not using either of those two formats, it will not accept the data. Other than that, you can try again, if it persists, LEAVE THE CHAPTER UP. Let me know, I'll look at the chapter data, and tell you what's going on.

No it's not a back door. Sorry for venting a bit on ya, but I get that way after I process out bunches of things for sheer laziness and the like. That makes me right cranky. You go ahead and keep letting me know, and I'll keep fixing it. I have some thoughts on how to change things, but that's going to be a good long while in coming. As what I have in mind has to with restructure of that table that controls ratings, and rewriting that and probably a couple other subroutines.

I know it is. I'm not real thrilled with having to fix it all the time myself, but, at least we can fix it. I just wish the function wasn't completely anonymous.

For writing implements, I prefer a Pilot Ultra Fine point, black ink.

Checked her profile, and that's exactly what it is. Kiix usually does put in her profile if she needs to pull a story for publication, or some other reason.

It may be one of her stories that have been published. If so, that's why it would've been pulled.

You can actually copy them in to a post to this topic. You can also put the full chapter data in to posts to the topic as well.

It actually has nothing to do with procedure, but more with how the software itself works. Invisible or not, if a user "marks all posts as read", the invisible posts are also marked as read.
