  1. Hey, everybody. I’m back in the full writing swing, and I’ve been pretty productive over the past several days. Still not super close to posting anything, but I made progress on a lot of stuff—including a new one-short story to be titled “The Ball Pit.” A little girl, a tentacle alien, all kinds of badness. SWP1, thanks for reviewing the latest chapter of The More, the Merrier. I’ve posted a response in the thread for that story: Oh, and I too am looking forward to Godzilla vs Kong.
  2. My response to Star Wars Player 1’s review of “The More, the Merrier”: Thanks! Thanks! I want this story to cover a whole range of sexual experience, from the utterly depraved to the genuinely loving. When I first thought of including Roger in the story, I didn't even think about pairing him with Vanessa. Then I realized that this was an incest opportunity I couldn't pass up. Especially when I had the idea that they had been fantasizing about each other for a while. I'm really happy to have added a girl who is even younger than the others. Makes for all kinds of Little Rose-esque fun. A shota and a dog double-fucking a teenage girl ticks a lot of my boxes. And it seemed like a good character moment for both of them. The Melanie/Pedro thing was planned from the beginning, but I couldn't bring it to fruition until this chapter. Sometimes writing about what characters are thinking is more fun than writing about what they're doing. I wanted Monty and Vanessa to be like sex tutors for the kids. In the next chapter, we'll learn more about how Vanessa has been mentoring Balthazar in that regard. I'm pretty sure you know, but yeah. Thanks for the review!
  3. Sorry, no—this one is about high school girls.
  4. Hey, all. I’ve finally returned from my travels and am catching up on things (including sleep ). Not too much to report on the fic front; the only story I made much progress on while I was gone is a new Loud House story that I won’t be ready to start posting until I finish with a couple of the nearly finished stories. I do hope to have chapter 9 of Country Summer finished reasonably soon, though. FYI, I just saw a matinee of Godzilla: King of the Monsters and enjoyed it (better than the critics did, certainly). It was fun to see various monsters in action, including my old favorite, Rodan.
  5. Actually, this next chapter – titled “The Worst Day of My Life” -- will be a flashback to a couple of years after Mia left home, and it’s going to be about the one time when Mia completely lost control of herself.
  6. I'm not sure, but probably in the next month or two. I'm working on some other stories at the same time. Sorry for the slow response. I'm traveling, and my access to the internet has been spotty.
  7. I’m traveling right now, so I’m just popping in to say that chapter 4 of The More, the Merrier is posted at last. SWP1, I’m hoping that Dark Fate lives up to its promise.
  8. Hey, all. Not too much to report this week; have been kind of busy getting ready to go out of town to teach a class. Also, still waiting on the beta of TMTM chapter 4; beta said he was halfway through it when I checked with him a week ago, so hopefully it will be ready soon. SWP1, haven’t heard about the police drone. Maybe I’ll search it.
  9. Was getting coffee at the office when I suddenly had the unbidden thought, “I oughta smurf you right up the smurfhole, you smurfing smurfer!”

Thankfully, I don’t think anyone heard me laughing for no apparent reason.

    1. InBrightestDay

      InBrightestDay

The weird part is I could almost swear I’ve heard that phrase before.

    2. JayDee

      JayDee

There was some smutty smurf talk on an old family guy, and Urban Dictionary has some similar stuff – https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=smurf

I’d imagine a lot of folks have independently used the word replacement possibilities of smurf filth… but it sounds like George’s own dirty mind nearly caused some workplace trouble :p Good thing nobody was around!

  10. Hey, all. Spent this weekend at a convention for scifi and fantasy writers, learning about everything from how to start plotting a novel to the mechanics of self-publishing. It was great. Still waiting to hear back about chapter 4 of “The More, the Merrier.” I just sent my beta a message to make sure he actually received it. Probably the next thing I’ll finish is chapter 9 of “Country Summer.” It’s Franny’s birthday, and her party is gonna get wild...before it even starts! SWP1, there is actually a review response thread for “The More, the Merrier” – it’s just a bit empty right now. You can find it here. And I hope you had a good Mother’s Day.
  11. Howdy, all. I’m pleased to say that chapter 4 of The More, the Merrier is now in beta. Like chapter 3, it’s rather long at 8500 words, which is why I have moved the last couple of scenes I had planned for chapter 4 into chapter 5. As for other stories, one of the ones I’ve made the most progress on is one that probably won’t see the light of day for a little while (per my plan to reduce the number of in-progress stories I have going at any given time). So I’m not sure whether I should talk about it now, or whether that would just be a tease. In other news, I’m in the middle of reading the novella-length chapter 5 of DoctorYNot’s Loud House fanfic, “Make It Wit Chu.” The popularity of this fic—a dark story about Lincoln’s sexual abuse by his older sisters--is like nothing I’ve ever seen, at least in the fandoms I follow. As of now, it has a whopping 65 reviews, and people are even making fan art of it. SWP1: I haven’t seen Tangled: The Series, but I’ve heard a couple of rather good musical numbers from it, so maybe I’ll check it out one of these days. (Maybe when it is on Disney+, to which I think I will end up subscribing.)
  12. I do think Rey is a Mary Sue (she just seems to know everything instinctively about being a Jedi), but I still think the current trilogy is pretty good. I’m glad Lando will be back. (Billy Dee Williams has aged rather well, it seems.) My moniker aside, “They called me Mr. Glass” is my favorite last line from a movie.
  13. Made lots of progress on chapter 4 of The More, the Merrier this week. I decided to move a couple of scenes into the next chapter, because the this chapter is getting pretty long as it is. I hope to be finished with it pretty soon. SWP1, I agree with you about Endgame. I already bought tickets to see it this weekend. (The theater lets you choose your seats in advance, which is nice because that way you don’t have to show up really early just to get a good seat.) Looking forward to Godzilla: King of the Monsters, too. I had low expectations when I watched Kong: Skull Island, but I ended up liking it a lot, and I liked the Godzilla movie, too. (I loved that the arthouse theater where I saw it put “Gojira” on the marquee.) And the trailer for SW ep 9 looks pretty sweet, what with Rey charging a TIE fighter on foot. Hope everyone’s weekend is off to a good start.
  14. That would have been my second guess. What? No! New vocabulary words are gold, at least ones that I could see myself using the next time I talk to my English-major sister.
  15. Re: “Snow” From InBrightestDay on April 24, 2019 Wow, what’s it like there? I’m picturing damp stone walls, bare bulbs dangling from the ceiling...basically Drusselstein. I learned about yuki-onna from watching Rosario + Vampire. (I don’t watch a lot of anime, but now and then one sucks me in.) I thought the young yuki-onna Mizore was hot, and I liked the concept – sort of sirens of the snow. Thanks! Sticking to the limit definitely took some doing. (Full disclosure: I had to look up “psychopomp” at Dictionary.com.) I have the idea that members of Hisashi’s family have been doing this for a few generations at least. (They’re prone to cancer, but it doesn’t tend to strike until they are in their 40s or 50s, after they’ve had kids.) They know where to go to find a yuki-onna; then she gets a meal, and the terminally ill man gets a pleasant death. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
  16. SWP1: The next and final chapter of Little Rose is going to take a bit longer than the previous chapters, because unlike them, there wasn't any material already written for this chapter; I only started writing text for it a couple of weeks ago. I haven't written any of the "action" scenes yet. Had a nice Easter dinner with friends. Hope you had a good Easter, too.
  17. So, last night, I posted chapter 3 of Delta Delta Delta. This was a big deal for me, because I hadn’t finished a new chapter for that story in almost 6 years. I’d always planned to get back to it, and several months ago, I posted the first 2 chapters here on AFF to help motivate me. (The story was originally posted only on Hentai Foundry.) It seems to have worked. Now, hopefully, readers won’t have to wait another 6 years for chapter 4.
  18. Of course it’s weird. That’s why I like it.
  19. TNG definitely got off to a wobbly start, but it improves substantially in the second season: fewer stories cribbed from TOS, better-defined roles for the characters, better uniforms, and Riker grows that awesome beard.
  20. Re: A Beach Like No Other From InBrightestDay on April 18, 2019 No problem. I’m happy to have a review on any of them, any time! We all have our things. I’m glad you weren’t so turned off by Guidelines et al that you stopped reading my stories all together. The contrast is deliberate. Tony really appreciates their kindness because he knows too well what the lack of it is like. Because the story is sort of a tribute to the art of Glassfish, I wanted to include her in the story in some way, and making her the creator of the Beach seemed appropriate. (Also, the bit about the King of the Mists is a nod to the artist Fogbank, who mainly draws pics of lolis cavorting with adult men.) I like to mix different kinds of desires. Tony’s “nursing” on Cherisse is a sexual thing, but at the same time, it’s a reflection of his wish for a real mother figure, which Cherisse (and Annie) provide, in a way. I’m glad you enjoyed it and that you appreciate the spirit in which it was written. Thanks very much for the review!
  21. Re: Little Rose Thanks!
  22. Then I think you’re going to like the next chapter. Thanks for the comments!
  23. Re: “Auntie’s Home” From Josgonzalez189 on April 12, 2019 Hope you enjoyed it. Just one chapter left to go!
  24. This chapter is pretty much Mara’s awakening to who she is and what she wants. There will be elaboration on that in the next (final) chapter. As for your other questions, I’ve answered them in my “Transparency” thread.
  25. Hey all. I’m inches away from finishing the next chapter of Little Rose; I expect to post it tomorrow night. (Again, I’m not writing that one at light speed; fully half of this chapter was written before I even posted chapter 1.) As for The More, the Merrier, here’s the status: I have planned 10 scenes for the chapter. Five of these are now fully written, two are partially written, and three aren’t started or are barely started. I may end up moving a scene or two to the next chapter, depending on how long it all ends up being. SWP1, to answer your other questions: My favorite Star Trek is The Next Generation (I always liked Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard). Yes, I’ve seen the trailer for Episode 9, and I like the bit with Rey charging a TIE fighter on foot. I never watched much of the Twilight Zone, but I’ve seen some of the classic episodes like “Terror at 20,000 Feet” (which, coincidentally, starred William Shatner, and was directed by Richard Donner of Superman, Lethal Weapon, and X-Men fame).
