I would suggest logging out, clearing your cache, closing the browser completely after clearing the cache, and then restarting it and logging back in using the upper right fields. @Guest_baka_juju2000: We have a very clearly stated policy of not allowing people to ask for copies of stories that have been taken down, either by the staff here at AFF or by the author themselves. Obviously, readers are going to save copies of favorite stories, and there's little anyone can do about it, even if we authors would really, REALLY rather that people didn't do that. However, we can and do strive to make AFF a place where we do NOT encourage the swapping of hard copies of works that the author themselves has tried to remove from circulation, or that may have been removed by the staff for a reason such as plagiarism. I've hidden your request for a copy of a story, and ask that you abide by our rules.

If the story in question has been set not to accept anonymous reviews, then yes, the reviewer must be logged in. The archive code is in the process of being rewritten, and in order to implement changes without disrupting the entire archive, certain features have been disabled. One of those features is author control over anonymous reviews. Currently, the default is to disallow anonymous reviews, but our tech admin runs a daily query to allow anonymous reviews unless the author has requested that they be disallowed. So, my best guess is that the author whose story you're trying to review has asked that anonymous reviews be disallowed on their stories.
