I go out of my way to reword such sentences to escape it. The House of Ross, The place with the Ross family lives, The building full of Rosses, etc.

I’ve always gone with the convention of adding the possessive ‘s for a family name, like the Ross’s house, but not for an individual’s name, like Gus’ friend. (And this is why my editors want to kill me...)

Well, chapter 3 of Enter the Sandboy has emerged from beta ahead of chapter 5 of The More, the Merrier, so I posted it this morning. And it already has a review!

So here’s the very complicated deal: Technically, if you would actually pronounce the possessive s as a separate syllable (as you would if you were talking about the Ross family’s house), you should use an ‘s even if the name ends in s. So you would write, “I am going to the Ross’s house.” However, in RL, very few people do it that way. They will instead write “I am going to the Ross’ house.”

Well can’t be too upset about Taylor not turning into the harem’s dogbut seemed until the new girls come in, she is a pariah so would’ve had something to do like chase Ari to keep her from getting too confident about being different from the others. Definitely can’t wait for the final girls, and find out how long the time jump is. Hope everything is going good, and can’t wait for the next chapter!

ok so i need prayers, my mother has stage 3 kidney disease, and my uncle had a stroke last night. i swear someone put a curse on my whole damn family. bad things keep happening! i wish i knew who did it or a counter curse or a way to break the curse! this is starting to piss me off!!!
