I like gmail. A lot. Not so keen on being automatically signed up to that google buzz service, but I got that sorted. What's just made me shout with frustration was realising that at some point it started sending AFF.net notifications to junk mail. Just spotted one in there after accidently clicking it, and having been through my stories there's a few 2009 reviews I got I didn't see until now because of the goddamn junk mail filter. [/RAGE]

Had an email from somebody with a suggested second part/sequel to this, concerning butt fucking. I haven't written anything in about eight months, but felt the ol' muse prod me so maybe I'll actually get it done! Edit - Well, damn. Manged to write another couple chapters.

I'm not writing at the Mo, but I just wanted to say that I think that's a pretty cool idea.

I don't know the Naruto fandom, but that title doesn't seem offputting to me! I think the only 'titles' I find offputting are things like "I can't think of a title! just read!" because as hard as titles can be, anything seems better than that! Dunno about the other stuff either. I had a huge - for me - number of hits on one story, though not an established writer, and figured someone must have linked it on a fandom forum or something.

I really don't know if this is something that might affect anyone else, but I personally have found the many, many, many sub/sub/sub catagories introduced very intimidating and a real bugger to navigate through. As I say. that's just me - and I recall the forum admins and mods have reasons for the setup so I wouldn't have mentioned it except for the topic.

It's a nice idea - don't think I've seen anything quite like that with MJ before, though Deathstalker did a nice multipater with a whorish MJ, and included a very good MJ/Venom scene - but I've not really written anything since June or so and I'm just not feeling motivated at writing at the moment. Man, that whole Mephisto thing sucked... I heard they had to reverse it for the newspaper strip when all the older readers complained that they really really wanted Peter and MJ married.

I gotta say, it does read more like extra-snarky constructive criticism than a flame to me. It can be hard to tell though - I just realised one of my reviews, quoted on the first page of this thread, "I feel disgusted just from reading that." was probably meant as the highest compliment rather than a flame. Certainly it isn't a personal attack of any nature, and doesn't have the one line "Die in a fire" or "Your mind is horrible" comments of other reviews I've received. If you can, look at the review gratefully and see if you can find relevence of the criticism offered on an impersonal writing basis. I'd really appreciate more detailed reviews of that nature, but as I hardly write now I don't see many coming in future!

I thought it automatically PM'd people when you sent naughty points. Maybe that was on one of the older versions of the software... or more likely I am mixed up

...Well, none of my violent sexual mutilation or excrable puns have broken a boundary yet, but I'm sure there's time. There is a rule against real person minors featuring in stories, so that's a boundary. Psychostorm is fairly regular on the forum (last post July 26th, I see!) so If you wanted to ask them specific questions about that story you could always PM to get their attention

I liked that movie. If I wrote that fanfiction pairing I would resort to the blatently-obvious-tired-old "give her a good forking" gag... I haven't seen it in so long I wouldn't do the best job, though, so I'd have to give this request a miss.

I know, I know, but it's possible - some people seem to archive everything they see... Basically, it was a PWP and featured Kate Lockley in a cop uniform getting screwed by her dad. It even made Godawful FanFiction! Username was Joandoe then, I'm pretty sure. I took it down to do some re-writes, and somehow lost it. Anybody got a copy?
