Hi, I'm JD. I seem to write a lot of requests, and a lot of rape/death fantasy but I'd like to turn the visceral side of my writing towards proper horror someday. I think Clive Barker is some kind of god, although I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing. I am often surprised when people tell me that something I wrote was arousing to them, and sometimes scared by it. I like playing games with words and pretending to be what I'm not. I like writing and I like people who like my writing. I like reading, but don't have much time to do it if I want to write. My greatest regret in life is that I have never learned to draw. So that's me.

I enjoy and indeed use manu of the words listed. I guess if there's any word that would stop me reading a story, it would usually be through a contextual use that indicated I wasn't going to especially enjoy a fetish of the writers. Take foot, for example. In any normal story it is not an issue. A foot or even feet may be referred to many times over and simply be part of the plot or characterisations or narrative or what have you. No problem there. But on realising that a seemingly worthwhile fanfiction is going to devolve into three thousand words of foot worship I'll read something else instead with no disrespect to the writer. I recently found an example where this also applied to Garlic Bread of all things.

I guess I should have asked first, but was it okay to post my story codes with the summary? I put them on mine using the logic that any one who usually sees the summary (ie when on the main site) sees the story codes as well, but there isn't anything on the official list to say we can include them in the promotion? If it isn't okay I can go and edit the posts.

Hello, For some reason I cannot see forum avatars on any posts. I have tried completely refreshing, and I have checked the user control panel to ensure it has not somehow changed to the option to not display them. I am not sure if this is a bug or undocumented feature, or if you are aware of it, so I thought I would just mention it.

Following winning a seemingly huge amount of naughty points on Super Slot Slingo, I splashed out on a pass card and now get the joke.

I have three stories in the movie section. Two based on Star Wars, and one with Predator as a central theme, as well as some other characters that have appeared in movies, but also none movie characters. I suppose a difference between movies and TV is that you often only get to see characters for 1-2 hours in a movie, where as on TV you have 12 or 13 hours a season, and sometimes more. Given the amazing business Titanic did, I am surprised that there are not more fanfics for it. I believe it is still one of the highest grossing movies of all time, if not the highest.

I have reviewed this story. It's a good story! (I wrote a longer review, clicked the button, and got the 'daily moment of downtime' screen. And it would not let me go back and copy/paste ARRRGGGHH. )

My avatar is Aurra Sing, who briefly appeared in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (blink and miss her!), and rather more in the expanded universe. I use it in a few places and cropped it myself although the art is not mine (artist sig and URL on picture). I noticed the forum rules here - http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/inde...?showtopic=3443 - say members are limited to 100x100 avatar for junior members and members. I'm really just curious as to whether those of you with the bigger ones earned them somehow, or received special permission as the moderators do not seem to mind? (I'm not wanting a bigger one, it would mean re-cropping the picture! I am just asking through curiousity).
