Sounds like a plan. If you made it a "Folklore/Fairy Tales" sub catagory, it would also fit well to include the stories that straddle the line as well as things that might traditionally have been considered more adult (such as Robin Hood?) to be seem as fairy tales?

The Brothers Grimm's version of Little Red Riding Hood isn't as good as Charles Perrault's (IMHO), which predates theirs, and his was simply a written version of an oral tradition. All the Grimm lads did mostly was collect and record/edit existing stories I believe, as opposed to Hans Christian Andersen who wrote his own (including The Snow Queen). I don't mean to be a pedant (especially as I am going off the top of my head from memory without checking name spellings, facts and such) but I would say a lot of the time kids hear fairy tales these days, unless from an early edition, they're probably somewhat different from what was collected then by either Perrault or Grimm x 2, what with happy endings, Goldilocks' ipod and so on, so making them all go under Brothers Grimm might be mis-leading. I heard most of them orally meself, with lashings of violence. Thanks Mum. Edit - There are a fair few fairy tales based stories under Originals which would presumably need moving to any new section, probably under a theory of them being archtypical stock characters or something. Edit 2 - Although, of course, another popular way for kids today to hear some of them is Disney movies. There weren't no talking clock in the original Beuaty and the Beast, I reckon.

I've not replied in reviews mostly because I have assumed someone has posted and unlikely to come back again, but on occasion where somebody has had an email address in profile I have emailed a reply. (As opposed to the always hidden email section of the profile, some have emails in stories/the text area of profile) It does seem to be quiet common for users with a firm oft-returning readerbase to do it though, so I don't see problems if it works for folks!

Hi, this story was originally intended to be a oneshot story. I Then wrote a second part some time back and both of these received generally positive reviews. Somebody suggested another part with Ruth Powers, but I did not consider it until I recently re-watched the muscle woman episode (Strong Arms of the Ma). I then decided to do a third part which would be as final as could be. The final part is just over 4000 words long. I think the others are around 1500-2500 or so each. Hi there, As the forum PM system does not like the rename tokens, I have registered a new account in the name JayDee which is close to my two letter pen-name of JD. If this is okay, then when the JayDee account is authorised by the forum system/moderation team, can I have enough time to copy my banked naughty points over to the new account (say, two or three days with timezones as they are and maybe not getting back on) and then just have this account (JoanDoe) deleted, as I won't need to use it any more and it'll save people accidently emailing this one instead of the other? That's the second time somebody has raised that as an issue. I've renamed my account back to the correct name, see if it makes a difference in future. I might look into registering a new forum account as 'JayDee' and simply stop using Joandoe. Having my post count drop from 71 to 0 won't be the end of the world! Edit - Eh, I've gone ahead with registering the new account. Won't have access until(if) it is approved, and then I'll get stop using this one.

I remember GAFF when the point of the forums was to be funny. It wasn't about serious reviews or constructive criticism or even, in any real sense, being fair to writers or stories. This was a long time ago. Back at a place called voyboards, and maybe the early orangey boards. And yes, it would be cruel and occasionally pretentious but generally, very, very, funny. Then it was kind of... the funny users mostly drifted away, about three score 4channers joined up, and the rest were 14 year olds writing in depth critiques about why someone else from their obscure or not so obscure fandom was just the worst ("This anime character would never consider this anime character as a snugglebuddy!")- without a single damn joke. Many of the 14 year olds would also have a proud link to their own fanfiction story page, where you could see they themselves had hundreds o badly written tosh. See, the point of the porn without plot reviews was that they could be side splittingly hilarious if handled by somebody with a sense of humor. There was one of Superjizz' stories got a review that I damn near wet myself reading. I figure at least half of the reviewers/readers back then were still masturbating furiously over the stories, but they took 'em apart for the cruel amusement of all concerned. Then the too-young crowd was all over the place and they just figured "pr0n = ick" ...and now it seems that even the over-ernest reviewers have gone, with very few new reviews being posted, and the forum exists purely as a site for people to talk about what random shit, like any other general 'net forum or start threads just to post some livejournal level opinion of no interest even to their friendslist. And that's why I hardly visit these days and can't recommend the place. No sense of humour any more.

Jaxxy, given the same story is linked, and similar comments made re: TOS, could the person who emailed you be the same guest posting on the forum here? looking for 'open dialogue? Also, I suspect they have mis-understood your TOS, as they don't seem to understand it is users who need to demonstrate a belief that nothing is offensive/obscene to use the service, or else not use the site?
