  1. These are ideas, though one passing thought I'd had about the inclusion of Aurora (or is her name Briar Rose? I've heard conflicting tales over their years...) was for Maleficent to have been captured near the end of the events of 'Sleeping Beuaty', leaving Aurora under the effect of the eternal sleep spell and surrounded by the 'forest of thorn vines' spell, with the two unintendedly giving Aurora Poison Ivy style powers, at least over the thorn vines by the time of the 'present'. Admittedly not sure though how long it should be between the reigns of the Black Baron and Hiccup though... Jumping topics again (I mentioned yesterday I can have a short attention span), concerning the characters of Frozen, what if king Agnar and queen Idun, or at least I think those are their names, never took the fateful trip where they died, or Agnar took it alone, and after Hiccup conquers Arendelle Idun offers herself to him, with the intention of distracting him from harming Arendelle, only for Elsa and Anna, misinterpreting the situation as Hiccup forcing himself on their mother, to try and seduce him to distract him from Idun?
  2. These are ideas. I admit I hadn't given much thought to the inclusion of Aurora, since while I admit its been many a moon since I've watched 'Sleeping Beauty', from what I remembered she didn't have much personality, being more of a prop than a character… As for the Ariel idea, the best I'd come up with is she approaches him as his forces pass Everlight Reef to ask his help with dealing with the invading Empire troops, since I plan to make telling Hiccup the Empire is in an area have roughly the same effect as waving a flag at a bull, due to the fact that the Empire wants to eradicate magical creatures, which make up a considerable portion of Hiccup's citizens, as well as the Empire possibly having conquered the Archipelago before Hiccup, killing Stock, and maybe Gobber.
  3. On the topic of worker Minions, I had toyed with the idea of Pink Minions, resembling Browns (whose main 'trick' would be being swiftest of foot) with blunter teeth and claws, as well as bright pink hide.
  4. Uh... When you say 'mutation' are you referring to the O.C. tribes I've added to the story? Because my plan that in hindsight I forgot to mention was for Hiccup's forces to contain equal numbers of each of the ten tribes, added by the artistic liberty that life force doesn't come in any color and can hatch the egg of any Minion tribe, with three orbs required for the horse sized Mounts, allowing Hiccup's army to be prepared for any obstacle, taking pains to make the Minions a disciplined fighting force instead of the disorganized, but savagely effective in one on one combat, rabble their instincts drive them to be, with the basic unit being a group of ten Minions and their Mounts, one from each tribe, that always watch each others backs. On the topic of 'sexualizing' the Minions, I am torn/flip flopping between depicting them as similar to the famous Xenomorphs in appearance, which gave me the initial idea of including the queen caste, and as an army of Amazons that jokingly flirt with Hiccup while off duty, only for Hiccup to not pick up on it, to their vague annoyance and bemusement… Night then
  5. I admit to being kind of neutral to it… Admittedly this is changing the topic completely again, but I have been struck by an idle idea about Minion biology… Given that I intend for the Minions (and the Mounts) to be an all female race, social insects taken to the extreme, possibly with the passing remark in story that the original Overlord used ants or bees as one of the 'base ingredients' when making the Minions, what if the Minions hatched from eggs layer by a queen Minion, one for each tribe, with the Overlord serving the purpose of a drone, 'fertilizing' the eggs with life force? Not sure what purpose the hives would serve in this idea... maybe they produce a gel/slime that the larval Minions feed upon?
  6. You make a good point about Toothless' reluctance for Hiccup to deal with the Hunters... my vague idea was for her to be mollified by the fact Hiccup treats the bought dragons well as opposed to slaughtering them like the people they COULD have been sold to would have done, as well as the long term plan of the double cross...
  7. ... I admit that the possibility of language barriers hadn't occurred to me given that everyone in the games seems to speak the same 'common tongue'… Though on the topic of people not knowing about dragons' shape shifting, what of Hiccup and 'group' knew, but the Vikings and Dragon Hunters didn't, since dragons never let the two civilizations they were at war with see them in their weaker forms?
  8. Okay, as I said just wanted to double check
  9. In hindsight that should have been obvious… Also just wish to clear something up, earlier when you said something about 'dark tales', where you referring to Overlord:Dark Legends, which I've never actually played since it only came out for Wii, or something else?
  10. This is a possibility… Going back a topic though, you mentioned the possibility of having Hiccup visit Pixie Hollow during the events of the first game, not the second, what did have in mind for the force that drove the fairies into Hiccup's lands or drew his attention to their's?
  11. I admit my original plan had been for Toothless to stick with Hiccup, but your suggestion of Toothless masquerading as a human when she and Hiccup go to Berk. Though now I'm struck by the thought, 'what if Hiccup and Astrid were, unknown to them at the time Hiccup 'disappeared', betrothed to each other, and when Astrid and Hiccup reunite, Toothless (who I need to think of a human codename for... maybe Tanya?..) introduces herself, not incorrectly, as Hiccup's girlfriend? Now that I think of it, if Toothless where with Hiccup the whole time, perhaps she should be Hiccup's first time...
  12. I admit I had not considered the idea of Toothless keeping the shape shifting abilities of the dragons a secret... I had assumed she'd shift to human form after bing freed to say thank you, and my vague plan for her reaction to dealing with the Hunters had been grudging acceptance of Hiccup reasoning that it's better that Hiccup buys them, letting them live and treating them well, as opposed to them being sold to people who would slaughter them, or the Hunters slaughtering them themselves, likely mollified by the planned double cross...
  13. My vague plan had been for this to be the event that gives Hiccup the idea for the dragon air force, leading him to start doing business with the Dragon Hunters, paying them with gems mined from the Netherworld, possibly all the while plotting to double cross Johan and the Grimborn brothers and replace them with Nikora Stormheart. Or I might have Krogan kill them off while Hiccup's stuck in the abyss to make the Dragon Hunters serve Drago Bludvist, leading Hiccup to kill Krogan and then set his sights on Drago.
  14. The whole of it, though on the topic of Toothless, one of my thoughts on how she and Hiccup could meet is for a young Hiccup, on a Netherghul supervised field trip, to find her in a dragon trap and free her during the prologue.
  15. Hmm... this has potential... though I admit my plan for the reason behind the Viking dragon war was going to be the Red Death, how Hiccup manages to defeat with ample use of siege engines, and possibly impact detonated explosives
  16. I had thought about having Pixie Hollow actually be featured in the story beyond Maleficent and Zarina mentioning being banished from there, I just wasn't sure where to slip it in, but was tentatively thinking 'The Empire invades/has invaded, Hiccup goes and takes it from them' Proceed with the gag
  17. That is an idea I had not considered... Best I had came up with is after Hiccup conquers the Golden Hills, a war band of orocs from a nearby cavern system attacks, the latest border skirmish in a longstanding rivalry between them and the dwarves, prompting Hiccup to retaliate.
  18. I apologize for the typo in the above message, the orcs are a certainty in the story, what I meant to say was an idle thought was the orocs from Dawn of the Dragons, which are essentially the results of orcs being crossed with golems, cavern dwellers with very durable crystal studded hide, crystal bones, and oddly enough tiny grit like crystals suspended in their blood... their diet might also include rocks, the narrative was rather vague on that point...
  19. A fair bit of advice, and I admit I'm undecided on the addition of orcs, twas just an idle thought
  20. This is a possibility, and just for the sake of saying the 'Dawn of the Dragons' game I mentioned above has nothing to do with the Overlord series, its just a random game I also like, though admittedly haven't played in moons...
  21. Idle thought concerning the Teen Titans story, what if instead of a magic user, the culprit was perennial Batman villainy Poison Ivy with some new chemical concoction, who after a while decides to try and 'join the fun' by taking advantage of Robin? Perhaps with Harley tagging along? Granted that leaves the question of how a biological attack could affect Cyborg's mechanical body...
  22. I had also toyed with the idea of adding characters from the Lion King films as lionmen, and women, created by La, as well as adding the cavern dwelling oroc race, essentially orcs crossed with golems, from the computer game 'Dawn of the Dragons'... admittedly no real rhyme or reason for that one, I just like said race even though they didn't get a whole lot of focus in the game's story...
  23. That reminds me, need to update that some...
