I must admit I've not heard of said figure… My mind has jumped topics again, and given me an idea concerning Rose, Velvet, and their unnamed mother who for women reason I want to call Lily… While Rose and Velvet might have been young enough to notice that their father's body came home from his crusade with a different soul, their mother likely would have noticed, so what if the previous Overlord mind controlled her, and when infiltrating the Tower brought her along, only for the spell to be broken when Hiccup defeated the previous Overlord, and she decided to stick around the Tower, wanting to spend some time with her daughters, or not wanting to be alone after the long period of mind control? Might have her seduce Hiccup, but not sure...

I did not know she was possessed of healing powers...
-
This is an idea, though now I wonder if 'Snow White' is just a title like 'Sleeping Beauty' of if her first name is actually Snow and her last name White?..
-
This makes sense, and incidentally coincides with the fact that in many real world reptile species, females are the larger gender... I have not come up with a plan for her, for similar reasons as to Aurora's initial exclusion...

The idea of Astrid and Toothless splitting the role of First Mistress makes sense, and I do admit I had not considered the potential awkward feeling Anna and Elsa would have if the decided to try sharing Hiccup simultaneously instead of just sleeping with him separately, which hadn't occurred to me as potentially awkward given that it was their idea...
-
I admit when I said Viking 'girls' I should have typed 'mistresses' as it had been they I had referred to, and yes Astrid was the only other candidate I had really considered for the title of 'First Mistress', though I had toyed with the idea of Hiccup awkwardly trying to distance himself from the women's attempt at forming a hierarchy, stuttering something along the lines of 'you're each highest ranked in the area I asked you to keep an eye on...' This would work, and I just remembered another layer of awkwardness for the whole thing, one of the twists I was planning to include from the 'normal' HTTYD story I've partly written was that Heather and (genderbent) Dagur were Hiccups twin older sisters who were separated from the family when Hiccup was a baby, and Hiccup might not realise that until Valka meets and recognizes them, after Hiccup had slept with them, possibly multiple times...
-
Okay then This is a fair idea, though now I'm struck by the idle thought of all the Viking girls getting the ability to shape shift into dragons...
-
The both of them, and I admit said gag had slipped my mind, I had assumed it was meant to be a joke about the title of her late husband
-
Hmm, this would work. I admit I hadn't considered the idea of Valka getting dragon powers.
-
This is an idea... And I admit the main reason I was unsure if Hiccup should employ the Dragon Hunters before meeting Toothless is down to the motive behind it… Before Toothless- Hiccup remembers his childhood on Berk and how dragons are capable of impressive destruction and wishes to use them as war beasts After Toothless- Hiccup knows dragons are sentient and wishes to save them from being slaughtered Proceed with the idea when ready

You make a good point about Valka being understandably awkward after learning she slept with her so, though now I'm struck by the idea of Hiccup feeling awkward about NOT feeling awkward about it, since when he thinks 'mother' Valka just isn't the one he pictures, I admit my plan for when she and Hiccup meet is after the conquest of the Archipelago when he hears tale of Drago Bludvist and preemptively attacks him, by happenstance doing so as Drago is either attacking the Sanctuary, or very recently has, and their sleeping together happens when Hiccup informs her of Stoick's death, either forgetting or not getting the chance to tell her his identity has Stoick's son, with it being something along the lines of 'grieving widow seeking comfort from a willing young man', whether it would be a one night stand once the truth comes out or something more regular I am unsure as of yet
-
My plan for that had been for Hiccup to encounter them in the prologue, like so… 1. An old Tower gate in the ship graveyard from the first RttE episode is accidentally activated, possibly by one of the giant eels that inhabit the area, with the eels possibly explained as the energies from the gate affecting their development 2. After exploring the area with the Netherghul, Hiccup gets the idea to turn the area into a shipyard, salvaging the wrecks for materials and looting the treasures Johan had stored there, thinking them merely cargo of the wrecks 3. Johan eventually returns to the area, either to take some of the stored treasure or add to it, and mentions he is the chief of the Hunters (the show doesn't ever mention if he is actually the tribe's chief and the Grimborns were commanders or if he's just a pirate who managed to hire the Hunters as muscle, I assume its the former), leading Hiccup to set up a contract with the Hunters to buy a majority or possibly all of their catch, with the shipyard and surrounding waters serving as the primary base for his dragon air force. Admittedly not sure if this happens before or after Hiccup meets Toothless...

I have not seen the movie as of yet, I tried to borrow my local library's copy, but couldn't find it myself, and the assistant librarian was on duty, who don't get me wrong, she is a nice lady... but not the brightest spark in the forge, so I didn't try asking her for help... The only reason I know she had a pair of bird wings in the film is due to pictures on the Disney wiki from the film… Another thought concerning Maleficent has occurred to me though, given the plan to make her a former resident of Pixie Hollow, what should her 'talent' be? Proceed with the Valka idea
-
You make a good point about the hierarchy, and I hadn't intended for the mistresses to take lovers, just for Hiccup to mention in passing that if they did he wouldn't mind, given his more or less accidental acquiring of a harem. I do admit you method of telling the two ravens apart is rather amusing. As for the Iduna, which is apparently what her name actually is, not sure how I missed the 'a', idea I must admit I'm neutral... though now I'm struck by the idea of the Tower Heart either 'jump starting' dormant powers or just outright giving Iduna lighting powers and Anna fire powers… And I've also been struck by the idea of young Hiccup in the prologue trying to give himself a pair of wings like Maleficent
-
Hmm... I admit I had not considered the idea of the mistresses getting mistresses of their own, beyond passing remarks that Hiccup didn't mind if they took male lovers, it just hadn't happened yet, I just used to term 'assistant' because I was unable to come up with another way they could contribute, since for example princess Rapunzel couldn't be mistress of Corona if queen Arianna was still around. I had forgotten that Grimhilde had a pet raven as well... perhaps she and Maleficent' are both turned to ravens, and its a running gag that Hiccup can't tell them apart?.. And maybe Ursula's trapped form is a sea snake?
-
This is a possibility, and I am a fan of the old Gargoyles cartoon, its just that Demona's penchant for betraying people before they betray her had managed to slip my mind... Maybe the succubus queen could be more similar to Demona in the series pilot episode, wary of most humans, but able to work with them for the good of the clan?.. Changing topics again, but an new idea has occurred to me, what if when the previous Overlord tries to take over the Tower he traps the sorceresses in the form of animals, similar to Mirage being stuck as a house cat? Maleficent- a raven Ursula- a snake, since that's the closest land dwelling creature to her pet eels in The Little Mermaid Mim- a fox, since from what I remember of The Sword in the Stone, that is the smallest creature she turns into during the wizard duel Grimhilde-... I admit I can't think of an animal she has any real connection to, any suggestions?
-
I admit the succubi draining the Tower's supply of mana had not occurred to me... maybe one of the sorceresses knows how to brew mana potions? If I do go with the idea of the succubi being able to change women into succubi, still 50/50 on it...
-
Eh, is nothing to apologize for. Though my comparing of succubi to vampires has given me an idle thought… What if, in addition to/instead of giving birth like most races, succubi increased their numbers by turning women of other races into succubi via biting them, and the succubus that Hiccup takes as a mistress, either Demona or perhaps one named Elisa, turned Hiccup's other mistresses? Not sure if the turning would be consentual on the part of the other mistresses, but I lean towards yes...
-
I admit I had not considered the history attached to the name Demona, it was merely the first 'female winged humanoid' name that occurred to me, and seemed appropriate given succubus=demon, she might have ended up as Demona in name only, and just for the sake of saying, the idea of Hiccup taking the succubus queen struck me before the idea of Hiccup going to Greece and meeting Megara. You have made some convincing arguments for combining Hades and the Forgotten god, but if I remember the Hercules show correctly the showed that the Norse and Egyptian pantheons were separate organizations from the Olympians, so maybe the two deity elvish pantheon could be its own group as well… Not sure who'll let the previous Overlord into the Tower, might be that the wizard has been possessed long enough that Rose and Velvet don't realize that he's not really their father, or rather the body is but not the soul, so when he stops by to visit his daughters they welcome him with open arms, or maybe since he's the previous Overlord he knows about a back door or two and sneaks in.
-
This is a good plan, though once again my imagination has given me an idea for a completely different topic, specifically the succubi of the first game… What if they were essentially vampires that fed on mana instead of blood, and the zombies around Heaven's Peak were the result of them draining to much mana from men, with the zombies then draining mana themselves to try and return to normal, in an attempt to start a localized zombie apocalypse that could kill Sir William so they could go home, since he was the one to summon them, only his permission or death, which they are magically prevented from doing directly, could release them, and the queen, possibly after feeding on Hiccup and realizing he has more than enough mana to sustain her, offers Hiccup a deal, if he kills William for the succubi, she'll stick around as his mistress?

The parenting roles seemed good ideas, as does keeping Elsa in a defensive position And now I'm struck by the idea that Anna being the one to point about the mistake, possibly in the language of the fist since the movie showed she wasn't shy about throwing a punch, leading Hiccup to comment that she can hit surprisingly hard for someone so small, especially if Hiccup's complement was given when Elsa loses her temper and control at the ball, should I go the route of having Hiccup participate in the events of Frozen, instead of just going to Arendelle to fight the Empire. I have remembered two more people I had once considered adding that could be called 'Frozen characters' that I read about on the Disney wiki trying to find the names of Elsa and Anna's parents, Helga and Ingrid, who apparently showed up in the show 'Once Upon a Time' and are Idun's elder sisters, and Ingrid had the same ice powers that Elsa would inherit. I've never watched the show they appear in though, so not sure I'll add them...
-
You make a good point about the 'cursing a baby vs. cursing an enemy' thing, and I'm undecided between Hiccup realising his mistake and apologising, or utterly confused by Elsa's reaction and needing the reason pointed out to him, as it was a sincere compliment since from Hiccup's point of view, being dangerous means you can defend yourself and others
-
I admit that I had been leaning towards Sleeping Beauty's 'evil for the fun of it' Maleficent, mainly because that was the version I had seen, though I might see if the library has a copy of the new film I could borrow, but what if we combine the two?.. The fairy kingdom that Aurora's father was at war with, possibly believing them a threat to his own people due to their magic, was the Pixie Hollow corner of Evernight Forest, leading Maleficent to curse baby Aurora out of spite, for revenge, or as a warning to leave the fairies alone, leading to her banishment, and eventually she regrets her curse, but is captured by the Baron before she can try and break it, her last act being to try to protect Aurora with the forest of thorn vines since the Baron's forces had already crippled the kingdom? On that note did said kingdom ever receive a name in either film?.. Then while raising Hiccup Maleficent plays up her regret, possibly omitting that it was she who cast the curse all together, and maybe claim that her banishment wasn't entirely fair since she was trying to protect Pixie Hollow, only for queen Clarion to sternly point out that Maleficent did in fact curse an innocent baby, leaving Hiccup confused, either because he's not sure which tale to believe, or because due to the sorceresses' teachings he thinks it was a sound plan since it was in fact an enemy innocent baby, and possibly considering throwing a fire spell at the fairy scolding one of his moms. As for the Frozen idea, I'm struck with the idea for a scene where after Hiccup finds out about Elsa's ice powers, he sincerely compliments her "With some training you could be dangerous." only for Elsa to take it the wrong way.

As I meant to say, but my keyboard didn't register, proceed when ready. Take your time

Okay, proceed when ready then
