Gotta take exception to some of you comment. I DO NOT think making a rational decision to NOT go back in the line of fire is "chicken"! Should you make that decision to "retire" based on the comments from fellow vets here it would be the, in "our" opinion the correct one. PLEASE carefully read the comments of Sniper and Mangus. You have done more than your part and can contribute to the ongoing wellbeing of the country and the guys in the field by passing on you experience and expertise to those coming up. Don't let that get lost. B

ONLY if they beat you. The practice will resharpen you skills so maybe it will be quite a while before they reach that point. After all it will be real world not Mangus's. B

SUCKS HARD! Before you make a decision to go back out suggest you let some healing time set in AND talk with some of the folks that have commented here. They have "no dog in this fight" and will have only YOUR "best" interests in mind. "They have been there and done that" B

But just think of the fun you have training them AND how much fun they will have talking about how the student now can out preform the teacher. B

Suggest you look at some of replies here. This is an open forum and some of the folks here seem to have experience in similar lines of endeavor. You may want to PM or e-mail them. Hope your recovery goes well. B

Glad you made an account. Was going to click a "like" on this post BUT the fact you are talking about retiring deterred me. Maybe you might consider something like Mangus and train the newbies. I do agree that it is probably time to keep the body out of the overly hostile areas. B

I thought Kara was damaged in the body but not the face. No mention of the damage in the last scene. If the damage was as bad as described I would think some mention would be in order. Confused as to who damaged her. At one point it was stated that "the parents" were the ones who did the damage but then we find that the mother had similar wounds.???? Should be interesting when Kara gets to "talk" with her father. Again what about mommy?? The interrogation of the black ops will be interesting but which will be more informative< black ops or daddy? That should be a LONG chapter full of exquisite.detail B

It's just that some of us on this forum have some "outlandish" ideas. If they want stuff that seems weird to this story let them go write their own and see if they can do anywhere near as masterful job as you. As I said before stay the course. I, for one, LIKE where you go with this. B

OK 90 thousand + hits on GITG and don leave out 11,500 on BITG. Rock and roll!!!!!

What's done is done. BITG is, in my opinion, damn good. I, for one, would MUCH rather you spend your time writing new chapters than editing that which is already posted. This is advertised as a sex site and if someone doesn't like the sex scenes they have the option of skipping over them. If memory serves I think we went over this a short while back and the consensus was the story was self supporting with or without sex in every chapter. The way you write the sex scenes it is more about love than just raw sex for the sake of sex. You are a master pilot; stay in the channel and you won't have to worry about hitting a reef. \ B

I think COjimmyV and I are on the same page on this one. Enough diversity already. My vote, if you are taking votes, is NO on T-Girl, T-Boy or T-anything. BUT you are the master and we will follow wherever you lead. As always impatient. Write FASTER!. B

Damn hangers!.. OK now we have 2 damaged alfabit ops about to undergo interrogation that they probably won't survive and 2 scumbags that should never walk free. Maybe Kare should be the one to punish the scumbags that were her parents. That could be interesting like Evan. As far as the comments on Petra I don't see her as taking over. Yes she is unusual BUT so is your story. I think you have done an excellent job of weaving interpersonal relationships into a thrilling story. Stay the course and FULL SPEED AHEAD.

Comfort levels change as we age under 70 degrees freezing to me and I like to be warm. B
