  1. Chapter Nine: Whatever Legolas was expecting next, it surely wasn't this. Some first class manipulation by Thranduil here, who submits without actually, you know, submitting... *shakes head*
  2. Thank you, CL! Ah, yes, I am a tease lately. For the record, I wanted to put this off for another few decades. My muses told me very plainly that wouldn't be happening. Elrond is far-sighted and wise. Deep down he knows where this might lead, and he fears being the instrument of doom for his two lovers. For now it seems Elrond has decided to trust his heart, and the dream he was given. Where there is love, there is hope. Maybe Elrond will get the dream. Maybe they all will. Won't that be a worthy end to all this?
  3. Thank you Bronx! Actually, I wasn't expecting them to get here so soon, but in a way I'm glad they have. These last few years before Celebrían leaves are ideal. I'm afraid Elrond won't be quite the same after he loses her. Once they've explored here, I think there'll be another Elrond/Celebrían scene. I can't help it. I love the canon relationship. There is a lot of love between the three of them. How this will play out in the next scene I do not know, but it will be interesting to see how these relationships interplay when they're put so close together. Contrary to how he acts, Thranduil wasn't expecting this. He sent Legolas to Elrond once he thought Elrond had passed him over for good. Time knew better. Apart from that, the next chapter will be very smutty, verging on pornography. Or it will if I have my way. Let's see. Thank you for all your compliments, Bronx, and all the reviews you leave for me. They're so wonderful!
  4. Chapter 42: Wherein Elrond discovers that the only possible answer to life, the universe and everything is... 'Yes.' Eventually. I hope you enjoy!
  5. If a silly human did, it might finally put Thranduil off the Dorwinion lol (no, he won't, I promise) Thank you so much, CL! Thranduil is indeed very wicked, and I think he was as pleased with the result as he was with Legolas' obedience here. As for him sharing... with a man? From Gondor? I don't think Thranduil would share his lowliest servant with poor Boromir, let alone Legolas. He has quite the superiority complex. I am sure Legolas is quite unable to think straight. He's probably better off that way. At least for now. Although... he's going to get something quite special in the next chapter. Under guidance, of course... Glad you're still enjoying!
  6. Thank you, Bronx! I and TAFKAB felt that this was definitely something Thranduil would do, so I'm glad you agree. He's exactly that shrewd and arrogant. Don't feel too sorry for Boromir: he should have known better, really. And besides that, he's no better in terms of arrogance... (looks up definition of 'mysterious') Legolas is discovering a lot, but in one way he's still a virgin. We might rectify that next... (looks up definition of 'tease') But Thranduil would never share this treasure. Well, someone taught Thranduil everything... wonder who that is... (looks up definition of 'annoying') Ok... I am stopping now
  7. Chapter Eight: Wherein Thranduil uses the royal 'we' *raises eyebrows*
  8. Thank you so much, CL! Really happy that you are enjoying this story, especially since we seem to have a lot in store for both Legolas and Thranduil. I'd say Thranduil is too big for his boots, but his boots are actually quite big. I mean, they're up to his knee, and the bloke is tall! And now I have another version of Legolas to write. I haven't forgotten *g*
  9. Not at all! Actually, a spot of alcohol probably doesn't go amiss while reading that story, lol.
  10. Thank you for reading, and for leaving all these reactions for me to drink in. I've enjoyed reading your thoughts very much. Dread and satisfaction... *nods* that's a reasonable reaction to this story. Ha! I honestly, really couldn't *g*
  11. Wow – thank you so much for all of this! I am a happy little writer today! Mithedhel really is like a ray of light. He's the thing Sauron never planned for, and he dispels darkness like the sun. But then the cruelty, yes, because Sauron always has to make his points clear. Yes, Sauron always has some kind of cruel trick up his sleeve. I think, deep down, Maglor knows even here that it's too late for him. ‘Athân is just a child, but since you know Sauron's plans for him, I hope it's clear now that he's possessing the child at times. Another cruel trick, I'm afraid. Sauron has a need to take away all the things that Maglor loves. He used to love playing the harp, and singing. Those things are only tortures to him now. Stands to reason that when he loves Mithedhel, Sauron will take it away from him. I think when he was born Legolas decided there was nothing bad in ‘Athân. He can't afford to think anything else. Sad, yes, and completely inevitable. Except for the part where Sauron finally goes too far, and Maglor escapes him. At least for a while. After all that he's endured at Sauron's hands, I think the idea of Sauron pleading for his forgiveness would make Maglor agree to anything to stop it. It's like finding out God didn't mean for any of this to happen. So unnerving. Without Mithedhel, ‘Athân doesn't really want to be left with the elves any more. The ghosts are sad. Most of them are completely insane, but they still know what happened to them. Legolas is free... Maglor, maybe not. Too late, really, and Sauron knows that. Sauron can't stay away, though I'm sure he planned to. And Maglor is lucky that Sauron intends for him to “escape” I suppose. The world is too big and there is too much in it. Maglor is frightened, and he does not know how else to handle Legolas except to try and frighten him away. It's all he really understands now. He's forgotten the power of truth and honesty really. Maglor chooses, and is no longer a prisoner, though he retains all of those other titles, including slave. Sauron has what he wants from Maglor here, but what about the rest? I'd say of all these characters, it's the ultimate nightmare ending for Legolas. One wonders how long Maglor would be able to toy with him before he realises he's being played. Maglor has had the ultimate teacher, after all.
  12. Thank you, Bronx! lol... the poor Prince will be exhaused, floppy, and tempting as all hell. Have you been sneaking looks at our chapter plans by any chance? Ah, we have already arranged for something that will break Legolas in completely. But it won't be for a while yet. Legolas will actually get a taste of the other before then. Glad you're enjoying this story
  13. Chapter Seven: Bad Thranduil... very bad.
  14. Thank you for this review too! I think Thranduil knows exactly how to get under Elrond's skin. I find it quite amusing, myself. To me, I think Elrond needs someone who can do this, before he takes himself too seriously. Celebrían can do it. Oropher had that ability too, albeit in a slightly different manner to Thranduil. I'm glad you like Legolas. He's much easier on Elrond than either Oropher or Thranduil, and yet he never fails to lighten Elrond when they're together. He's much more like Celebrían, and I think Elrond senses that. Thranduil will find a way, no matter what he has to do. It's all he is concerned with right now. But will it work out for him? Is he missing something? Hmm... well he might be but I suspect he'll figure a way through it.
  15. Wow... thank you for your wonderful review, CL! I'll answer each part below: If it makes you feel any better, this is one of those ridiculous canon inconsistencies, and therefore impossible. Saruman created the Uruk Hai. Sauron (at this point in time) pretty much has orcs. Though really, I suppose that would be even scarier. Ohh... poor Legolas. But I'm quite sure he doesn't deserve what happens to him next. It's an extremely cruel scene. Sauron wanted it like this, and I was thinking that if I was writing m-preg, then there's really only one way it could happen. Sauron is always planning something bad: sadist is too mild a word to describe him. He required an incubator, male or female didn't really matter, though he enjoyed this particular piece of nastiness. And he needed Legolas to survive... for purposes that will become clear later on. Because I needed you to know, despite everything, Maglor still has a heart, and he can't be ignorant to the pain of others. Remember that. Brandir did indeed deserve to die, and for a moment there Sauron had what he wanted from Maglor. But only for a moment. The kids are cute, especially Mithedhel. I loved the parts of this that involved writing him. Sauron's plans will become clear at the end. I am not giving anything away. As far as I know, no one has ever seen the end coming. Thank you again for the review(s)! They always make my day!
  16. Thank you so much, Bronx! Thranduil is such an awful tease at times. And he still enjoys pushing Elrond right to the end of his considerable patience. That story! I knew it was used as some kind of erotic aid, and after several failed attempts at writing it I became so desperate I had to write myself an interview with Elrond and Oropher to see if they would tell me what it was about. Just before Oropher realised where he was, and jumped on Elrond, he told me about the dragon. In the end, Thranduil always gets what he wants, and he is focused on this sharing thing now. Elrond has no chance whatsoever.
  17. Off to hospital again in the morning... let's hope they do the right thing this time. I feel defeated already. *sighs*

That is wonderful news, love! I'm so glad to hear it! :D

  18. If you go to these dark places, and you write it - not only that but write it with feeling - what other word is there for that than beautiful? To be human is to be complex, and I appreciate the work you've put into both of these characters. Plus, I simply adore the tragedy, as I've said. Why? Well, I don't know. What is the true nature of cruelty? Of submission? Why are people capable of either of them? In fiction, we can explore, and the answer is in there, somewhere.
  19. Chapter 41: Elrond and Thranduil sleep together. Legolas reads a story. The entire thing is sweet and fluffy, like candyfloss. If you like candyfloss - go ahead and have fun! Translations: Candyfloss - cotton candy.

  21. Thank you for this review too! Legolas has run away – how could he not? I have been told Sauron's vampire form (as I've written it) is quite frightening. Sorry about the nightmares there. Poor Maglor, in his golden elf-sized cage. Like a canary. And still he has to face more. Hmm... Sauron doesn't love punishing Maglor that way at all, since it deprives him of Maglor's service. My Sauron muse assures me it would more unfair to deprive Maglor of this punishment, and that such would only confuse him. Like mercy. Legolas will be found. Erm... that's not pretty either. Oh, you have a long way to go, lol, we shall see, but if you have any particular request in mind, get it in then I'll let my brain work on it and see what happens.
  22. Thank you very much, CL! I'm glad you're having fun reading – these two are so beautiful together. Yes, I've decided I really am that shallow, lol. Now Thranduil has consent, anything could happen! Still, we have a couple of surprises planned, and a couple of experimental chapters coming up (it will be interesting to see how those go down). Yes, eventually Thranduil is definitely going to go there. He's too gorgeous not to, really. Your comments have made my day today. Just thought you should know that.
  23. Thank you so much, Bronx! Poor Legolas. I am afraid Thranduil quite entrapped him into that one. And it is tame, but Thranduil correctly senses it's as far as Legolas is willing to go... for now. Only time will tell how much Legolas is willing to bear. As for Thranduil, he has other thoughts, other plans and other desires for Legolas that go way beyond having a beautiful submissive in his bed. But there is a long way to go, Legolas has a lot to learn, and I'm quite sure Thranduil will not skimp on any lesson along the way. As ever, I'm so glad you're enjoying it, and thank you for all of your encouragement!
  24. So I spent a large chunk of yesterday in A&E. I'm not sure what I did to deserve this. No painkillers... really? *feels sorry for self*

I never got to see them. I can't blame the A&E doctor, but I wish he hadn't had to hurt me. Never mind, I will use the resultant emotions in fic. Always a silver lining *g*
