Thank you, Bronx! lol... they've only done it one way so far. Wonder what that will be like? Maybe give myself a bit of time on that one... (I mean, the evil.. got to get over that first, lol.. *fans self*) I can honestly say I didn't expect Legolas to be like this, but he's absolutely at ease with it all now they've admitted it. Or, you know, mostly... (insert dirty Gimli laugh here) Elrond showed him everything, bless... Legolas is hooked on Elrond, in some ways more so than Thranduil. He's got this memory of Imladris being like some kind of pleasure Heaven, with Elrond in it. But Gimli is The One, and I'm determined to write it that way. I'll reveal about the mark next chapter. Promise.

Chapter Four: The trees are watching!

Hi CL, and thank you I am on with it, and nearly done. The dirty bits are indeed in the next chapter. They only didn't happen in the last one because I thought one or both of them might protest about having it off on the riverbank. Honestly, no sense of adventure, either of them Ahh.... I don't know if I can change 'mildly' to 'madly' but I'll certainly give it a good go!

Thank you, Bronx! I think the new knowledge is definitely going to deepen things for him with all of them, which will be interesting to write. It also seemed right that Celeborn wouldn't even need to raise his voice to warn Elrond. He's so awesome (the old dictionary definition of it). *loves him*

Chapter 35: Celeborn has a talk with Elrond about life, the universe and everything. And Thranduil. Turns out, none of them is 42. Enjoy!

Aww, wow Thank you so much, Bronx! I don't know how many sex scenes I'll have written by the end of this entire endeavour, but I reckon there'll be a fair few, and I hope there'll be a diverse range. As in life. Yes, that parallel between Thranduil's acceptance and Elrond's demanded to be written. I'm actually echoing a lot of the past now, purposefully, in dialogue and description. Elrond still has a way to go, but it is all going to draw to a close eventually, and that will begin with the loss of Celebrían, which is less than fifty years away. I actually don't know at this point how he is going to survive it. I mean... he stays. But he will feel that longing... Elrond had never heard it until she could hear nothing else. We shall see, I suppose.

Chapter 34: Ah... the rain! With added Elrond/Legolas. Enjoy!

Thank you, Bronx! So glad I made you laugh Yes, poor Elrond, but it's irresistible to let him torment himself. I wouldn't entirely put it past Legolas to be laying it on a bit thick too. I'm so pleased I started this. It's perfect to play with while the main fic is being all themed and kind of serious.

Pretty sure Thranduil was in some kind of personal Heaven for a short time. I can't tarry here for much longer. Time is impatient to be moving on in the larger story, but there will be at least one more of these scenes, and a whole lot more smut before we go forward, some of which will be Elrond/Legolas. And, of course, Celeborn is on his way, and he has business with Elrond...

Chapter 33: During which, it becomes ever clearer that Elrond is the only healer in the village. More seriously, I hope you enjoy it!

Thank you, Bronx! Eventually, things will settle down for them and be less dramatic. But for now, I'm enjoying writing this. It's a strange dichotomy, to have Thranduil quite fearless, and Elrond uneasy, given the roles they are taking on, but it makes this all very interesting to write. Celeborn will feature in chapter 34, I think, which of course means I've done that already in its entirety. I don't imagine the actual 'scene' will take me long (love writing that stuff so much), so there won't be much waiting.
