  1. Tahn it was great! I really love those dragons of yours, and I love the idea of dragons coming back to the world. Get writing the sequel!
  2. Thank you so much Bronx! I love writing him. Certain of his later adult characteristics are here, but much of him is not entirely set. These are formative years, as they say, and I wonder how different he might have turned out had Elrond dismissed him at the first sign of his ardour. As for Elrond, he does not have a clue what he's doing, or how it's affecting Thranduil. If he did he'd drop him sharpish. He really believes it's silly infatuation (and moreover that it's entirely misplaced). He thinks that Thranduil will soon grow out of it, and that they can continue as teacher and student. He's sensible that he can give Oropher's son a much more thorough and beneficial education than the usual scholars. But he's also loathe to let Thranduil go so easily. He enjoys teaching, and when Thranduil is gone, it will be over. I think it's that which keeps him blind to what is going on beneath the surface. Silly elf. I don't know if there will be any more with young Thranduil, but these extra scenes will continue. I'm working on a couple of different requests at the moment.
  3. Thank you so much! I ought to feel guilty that this fic keeps making people cry, but I don't. It means you invested in all the fun and games that went on before I had to put the characters back. It means you enjoyed their messing about with each other, and I can't be sorry about that. I hope the fun was worth the ending. I loved writing this threesome, and the flow between the three characters.
  4. Thank you! I love that part of Britain, and Skeleton wood is a real place. Seemed to fit the legend perfectly.
  5. More young Thranduil, just because... Extra Lessons 3 Proof that Thranduil was not listening during his lesson on ethics.
  6. Thank you, Bronx! These two really do go perfectly well together. The rescue felt very natural, as did the little exercise in control afterwards. When Legolas is well again, Thranduil is going to see to some of those little images and make them real. I hope Legolas will be ready. I suspect that for all Thranduil's hinting, if it was left up to him, he'd keep his Legolas submissive for eternity. Good job it's not going to be up to him... *teases a little bit* Glad you are enjoying it!
  7. Chapter Thirteen: Of course Thranduil saves his son... and then "tends" him.
  8. Thank you so much for your review Sana! I'm so glad you're finding the story so enjoyable – Legolas has quite a way to go yet, but we'll be with him every step of the way. Really happy the shared dream worked for you too. Maybe the dream is a message of hope, or perhaps they're so emotionally invested in each other that they share a deeper connection? Next, we'll see Legolas beginning to recover, under Thranduil's watchful eye, of course.
  9. Thank you, CL! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and dom!Legolas. He's so loving and playful it would take Galion to make him act that way. Maybe next time I'll manage to get a bit of spanking in, since someone has already requested a continuation.
  10. Thank you! They were so much fun to write. Jack is made up entirely of funny bones, and Ianto is almost as bad... *g* Glad you enjoyed it.
  11. Yes... at this point, I am not sure anyone is prepared for the heartbreak of canon events... not even me. *sighs* Thank you, CL! Lol, it's worth remembering that Thranduil is all about appearances. To him life is a stage. He knows what Elrond needs from him, and because it's Elrond, he gets all that in depth attention. Also because it's Elrond, Thranduil questions his own motives. Thankfully, Thranduil really wasn't paying attention in class, and so while Elrond might be ethically unimpeachable, Thranduil certainly is not. Thank you for your compliments... *blushes* I have to admit, I've been really enjoying writing Thranduil's pov, no matter what age he is. He's so rewarding when I scratch away his veneer to see what's underneath. Ah, enjoy the next one. I'm already on with more Galion. I can't seem to help myself.
  12. Thank you Bronx! Glad you liked Elrond here, and Thranduil is very evil, but he insisted. I had to put it in. And of course the three of them are at it... orc nests... ha! Elrond really has had it when Oropher joins in. He'll think it's all hilarious. I'm sure between the three of them they'll be able to make Elrond lose his temper. Not that it will help him at all... I'm really happy you enjoyed reading. Now all I have to do is write Elrond/Celebrían to be better than that.... and then. Oh, dear Gods... *hugs Elrond*
  13. Chapter 43: Pretty much mostly elf pornography ahead, with a little Thrandolas foreshadowing. Elrond has his hands full here. How will he ever manage three of them? If this is anything to go by, I think they will manage him.
  14. Mmm... new Teacher chapter coming soon. Just going over the edits. I love writing elf slash...

That's just how I feel while writing it... lovely elves... I could write them forever.

  15. Thank you Bronx! Really glad you enjoyed it Legolas clearly knows Galion is encouraging him, but I'm not certain he realises to what extent. I'm sure Galion feels like he has the full set now, and if sticker books existed in Middle Earth, he'd be happily affixing a picture of Legolas into a little vacant slot next to Thranduil and Oropher. You're not the only person imagining the subsequent “punishment” Galion will endure. I'll be writing it for Sandgrain, just as soon as I've got the next chapter of the main story done. I can't promise it will be from Galion's point of view. That would spill too many secrets I might want to use later on (depending if he takes any part in the story or not). I have a pretty clear idea of who he is, and where he hails from. The elf is ancient even compared to Elrond. So, it'll probably be Thranduil's point of view. Hope you enjoyed your long weekend!
  16. Written for CL, who wanted to see Legolas taking a more dominant role... here when Legolas is confined to the palace, before Elrond arrives, he discovers the delights of having a servant. Galion, to be precise. Son of the Greenwood Enjoy!
  17. Thank you, CL! Of course Thranduil would not share! At least not with that collection of idiots. And I think that's as much of a hint as I'm going to leave. *laughs evilly* I'm so glad you enjoyed the experiment. We wrote both chapters at the same time, writing paragraph by paragraph. It was fun! There is a connection between them. Two people having the same dream is probably impossible without something deeper and more mystical going on. As for Edwen, I don't know what's going to happen to him yet. TAFKAB and I are well in front, but we're coming back to have Thranduil deal with him. More soon!
  18. Believe you me, CL... I could not possibly ever outdo Russell T Davies, who invented these characters, then killed them all off at once when we'd all got to love them. Well, except Jack, who can't die. *is still not over Children of Earth, has not watched it, and never will* At least I didn't kill anyone *glares at Davies* Actually I didn't even kill poor old Maggy... Oh, don't be afraid. The rest of them are Fun with Jack and Ianto! Promise.. *g* usually with avant-garde use of stationery equipment.
  19. As if he knows when I have a day off, the dog has come up in massive lumps again. Currently waiting for the vet to open. :(

He's stupid (and sleeping now). He's been off down the bottom of the garden, chasing foxes, dancing in nettles! *sighs* That's a job to do. De-nettle the unruly bits. Christ.. :/

I don't think we have that here... everywhere is dangerous compared to Britain!

  20. lol... CL has been reading my Torchwood fanfiction. *hugs Jack* Awww... I didn't mean to make you sad! *hugs* I had to put the characters back where I found them (it's one of the curses of writing fanfic)! I am glad you enjoyed their threesome, though. Mmm... Jack/Ianto/Andy. Been years since I wrote them. They're a lot more contemporary, and it gives a writer much more to play with in the way of props. Oh, I miss them! Especially Jack, who is definitely the 51st century equivalent of my elves, what with his poly-amorous ideas and his complete lack of jealousy. Andy made the only decision he could in the end, and so it becomes a little dream, a fulfilled item on Jack's List. Many of the items on that list involve risk in one form or another. This was a hefty one. But really Ianto will be okay – he has Jack, and Andy can't remember so he can't be hurt. Diary of Thranduil (aged 30) Dear Diary Today me and Pengolodh and Ada and Naneth went on a long journey to look at the sea. It was very boring! Pengolodh picked up some sea shells and seemed a little bit sad. Ada said to him something about Maglor. I do not know who that is, but Pengolodh was unhappy, so I told him to forget whoever it was and then we made sandcastles. I said that Ada and Naneth were the King and Queen, and I was the Prince. I told Pengolodh that he would have to pretend to be my horse. The sea was cold and iron grey and it ruined my castle. I do not care to see it again for as long as I live, but Pengolodh says I will want to one day when I am “weary” enough go to Valinor. I told him that I do not want to go there either and that I will never be tired. On the way back, I fell asleep, and Pengolodh laughed at me and carried me back inside my house... but I was pretending all the time. There you go! G rated too! From me! That doesn't happen very often...
  21. Yay! Thank you so much! *hugs* I was hoping this dream sequence would show them both, and I'm glad it does. I think something of this variety is a natural next step for Legolas, though I'm not sure he realises the difference between the desire to admit to his relationship and the desire for humiliation. Perhaps Thranduil will enlighten him? Thranduil has had many dreams of this variety, but perhaps not quite like this. It was indeed a warning. But I think when all is said and done he will take a lot of heart from it. Prophetic dreams are sent; they don't come from nowhere. At least, not in ME. Lol, yes, that spider is so dead. *nods* Thank you again, Bronx – been dying to post these chapters for ages and ages.
  22. Chapter Eleven and Twelve: Our two lovers share a dream, written from each point of view. Have fun! The Dream
  23. North Yorkshire council have voted to allow fracking, despite 4000+ local residents against, compared to 36 for. Sad day. Watch the UK become a real time Easter Island now. :(

What are they thinking? How can the council go against the mandate of the community they represent? And for such a dangerous practice as fracking?

  24. Wow, thank you so much, Bronx I'm so glad it's good to read. I enjoyed writing Thranduil's perspective on this scene. It's a good exercise for me, but I wanted to do it too. Perhaps I've inadvertently ended up teasing myself with all of his young unfulfilled yearning Ordinarily, I wouldn't describe Thranduil as patient, but really his patience is a match for Elrond's. Elrond really does fight him every single step of the way, even long after this scene has been and gone, but Thranduil will have everything in the end.
  25. Written for TAFKAB, the scene from the Battle of Dagorlad from Thranduil's point of view. Thranduil at Dagorlad
