Thanks too! I don't often notice the birthdays thing :)

      Thanks muchly!

  2. Thank you for this review too! Legolas has run away – how could he not? I have been told Sauron's vampire form (as I've written it) is quite frightening. Sorry about the nightmares there. Poor Maglor, in his golden elf-sized cage. Like a canary. And still he has to face more. Hmm... Sauron doesn't love punishing Maglor that way at all, since it deprives him of Maglor's service. My Sauron muse assures me it would more unfair to deprive Maglor of this punishment, and that such would only confuse him. Like mercy. Legolas will be found. Erm... that's not pretty either. Oh, you have a long way to go, lol, we shall see, but if you have any particular request in mind, get it in then I'll let my brain work on it and see what happens.
  3. Thank you very much, CL! I'm glad you're having fun reading – these two are so beautiful together. Yes, I've decided I really am that shallow, lol. Now Thranduil has consent, anything could happen! Still, we have a couple of surprises planned, and a couple of experimental chapters coming up (it will be interesting to see how those go down). Yes, eventually Thranduil is definitely going to go there. He's too gorgeous not to, really. Your comments have made my day today. Just thought you should know that.
  4. Thank you so much, Bronx! Poor Legolas. I am afraid Thranduil quite entrapped him into that one. And it is tame, but Thranduil correctly senses it's as far as Legolas is willing to go... for now. Only time will tell how much Legolas is willing to bear. As for Thranduil, he has other thoughts, other plans and other desires for Legolas that go way beyond having a beautiful submissive in his bed. But there is a long way to go, Legolas has a lot to learn, and I'm quite sure Thranduil will not skimp on any lesson along the way. As ever, I'm so glad you're enjoying it, and thank you for all of your encouragement!
  5. So I spent a large chunk of yesterday in A&E. I'm not sure what I did to deserve this. No painkillers... really? *feels sorry for self*

I never got to see them. I can't blame the A&E doctor, but I wish he hadn't had to hurt me. Never mind, I will use the resultant emotions in fic. Always a silver lining *g*

  6. Chapters five and six are up now! Enjoy!
  7. Thank you for this review, CL! Maglor will play any part Sauron allots him, unfortunately for Legolas. Maglor has been alone with Sauron for millennia by this point. And I will stop there so as not to give anything away... If you want him to be punished, you'll certainly get your wish. Poor Maglor It is a vicious game. They're the only games Sauron likes to play. He's a really nasty piece of work. I promise that both Maglor and Legolas will be alive at the end. That's all I promise. It's not as much as you might think. And I'm stuck for anything else to say without giving things away, except to say thank you again, and I hope you like reading the rest. I'll ready that document, lol, since it looks like you might make it to the end. But there are still surprises. We shall see.
  8. You're welcome (for the help), and you won't disappoint me - I love this story! It's fascinating... and tragic. A winning combination. Also... I have standards? lol
  9. Thank you, CL Erm, unfortunately for poor Legolas, quite a lot worse... Poor bugger...
  10. Wow! Thank you so much, CL! I'll try and give a coherent response to all of this. What an amazing review! (Chapter 1) Well, we had options, but in the end, Thranduil's clear obsession with wine could not be ignored. Expanding the wine cellar? Yeah, that sounds like him. Lol, seriously, we had to use a trope for this, and forced proximity mixed with a near death scare won out. (Chapter 2) Yes. On the surface, it seems Thranduil finds it easier to face. But who knows what's going off inside his head? *g* (Chapter 3) Okay, so I can't speak for TAFKAB, but I think Thranduil was assuming Legolas would want to forget all about it. Especially since he was necking that wine like water. When Legolas appeared in his room, it startled him, and he fell back into a role he knows well, hence all the Dom instructions. But then, when Legolas embraced him, it melted his heart. How could it not? As for Legolas, I definitely see him as quite capable of embarking on this, even though he hasn't got a clue what is coming. It will be a journey for him, knowing how kinky Thranduil is, but he won't be damaged by it. For me, he's still quite playful, and that will come out at times. (Chapter 4) Thranduil does love Legolas very much, as his son, and he's still aggrieved that his actions have damaged him forever. But, as Legolas said here, the door is open and cannot be easily shut. Legolas does not intend to allow it to be shut on him, for all that Thranduil considers himself the dominant partner. Maybe the silly elven King is fooling himself there too? Maybe there is a bit of both going on? Oohh... maybe... Again, thank you, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the story. We are well in front, so will be posting more in a few days
  11. So, someone has been reading my back catalogue of Sauron/Maglor fiction. This pleases Sauron, who is rubbing his hands together in glee, certain that he will be allowed to wreak havoc again before long. Thank you very much for this On an unrelated aside we seem to know more now than we did back when I was writing Sauron and Maglor a lot. Out of a handful of potentials I chose 'Aulendil' as Sauron's true name. It appears I now need to change all of those references to 'Mairon' which is easily done. And it amuses me because then not only is this pairing S&M... it's also M/M. lol The only way to tell how they get to that point in 'The Hook' is to write it all down. I have been thinking about this for a good few weeks now. See how you feel at the end of 'Fallen' if you make it there. I'm quite serious. Sauron as a character is completely inhuman, and the tortures Maglor faces are not for the faint of heart (I am including myself in that). Thank you again! A few things make me cringe about this. One, it's mpreg, and I really couldn't disentangle that from the plot once I decided to make the arc into a standalone story. Two, this was written more than ten years ago, and I like to think I've improved somewhat since then. Three, there are canonical errors that grate on me. And four, I am sure if I could bear to face it, I could rewrite this better. Improved. But it is what it is. Please! Do read the warnings. There are some additional warnings on particular chapters. I am not giving the game away, but if the intention behind my younger self's clumsy writing comes through, this is a scary story. I mean it's horrific. I've never read an mpreg story like it. And I for one will not let this worry me about Legolas, even though I wrote it. Sauron wants to win, and that desire goes far beyond Maglor, beyond the weird mpreg theme. It's the only way I could write it. I'm sorry. Lastly, I think I've finished apologising. Except to say that even for me, as the author, the story doesn't begin properly until Legolas comes across Maglor playing the harp. Maglor was supposedly a harp player, singer and storyteller of some renown before the tragedy of the oath.
  12. *hugs back* Ha... TAFKAB has posted the Elrond bit... it's utterly wicked. *g*
  13. Wow, Bronx I don't know what to say. Thank you so much for all of these wonderful words! I am sure TAFKAB will reply too, but I love to get your responses. They make my day, every single time It occurred to both of us that Thranduil and Legolas, as characters, were just perfect together, and so we wanted to write something to capture that. We have plans and plots in store for these two. And quite a bit of playtime if Thranduil has anything to do with it. He's definitely driving in this relationship... at least, so far... For myself, it's very satisfying to write a story featuring them away from The Teacher, because I do think they deserve something that revolves around them. Legolas is innocent, and he doesn't really know what awaits him. And yet, I don't feel he is easily put off or frightened. He does go out fighting spiders, after all. He trusts Thranduil very much, and though I'm quite sure there are going to be a few rebellious moments along the way, and some surprises, I promise we won't hurt either of them. When we let them go again, they'll be happy. We haven't collaborated on anything else so far, but I did write TAFKAB's Gimli and Legolas, and TAFKAB has written my version of Elrond in a very dominant roleplay that is incredibly hot. Soon, I will make TAFKAB post it here. *nudges TAFKAB*
  14. Thank you, CL! Really glad you like it... we are way ahead of what we have posted, so look for chapters three and four soon
  15. Reviews for our collaboration will be responded to here, should there be any.

  17. I do like giving myself a challenge. Halfway through a chapter, i now have to write a story within a story (again). This was easier to do with de Sade than it is with Tolkien.

It's when you get half way through and then there's a story within the story within the story. And then again, until you've gone down seven levels and someone is telling the original story.

Ha... I'm fine right here on the second level. That's lust. We need go no further than that. ;)

  18. With all that sensory deprivation, his mind can't do anything but settle. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he's close to hallucinating. Though Kamal does seem to be keeping him physically uncomfortable enough to stave that off. At least for a little while. Here, here! Great post, Tahn! And now I rush off to work! I am proper late... *disappears*
  19. Ah, I was thinking of this bit: “You are your father’s son,” Kamal said when the kid stopped shrieking in agony but still refused to obey. Given that Kamal has him in that hood, Zijad will be looking for meaning in absolutely anything and everything, and it's kind of true: how would Kamal know if he was like his father or not? Yes, I get that he's referring to Zijad's stubbornness, but the semantic is telling, and I do think Zijad (in his present condition) will seize upon any clue.
  20. Thank you, CL! Yes, he has given Thranduil a whole new range of ideas to think on... just as soon as he can convince Legolas it's a good idea to have their 'teacher' both together. And, just like he couldn't hold back the admission, Elrond is also going to heal the relationship between father and son, which will enable them agree upon it. Thranduil is wicked, Legolas is playful. Elrond has had it, really.
  21. You should hear me curse once I've posted here, and then have to add html for other sites. I curse myself then, for letting them speak any sindarin at all.
  22. Thank you, Bronx! Thranduil is a bit daft, but he's been in a bad way, and he's been remembering all those long years of denial from Elrond, bless him. Though I suspect he's going to have some real fun with Elrond now. His heart will be in his throat everytime Thranduil and Legolas turn up at Imladris. Galion, I just couldn't help myself. He's just been happily going around in Middle Earth, doing exactly what he wants. I almost feel sorry for Thranduil, lol. I like the idea he is always there. They are quite isolated. I mean, really, journey times are quite harsh, aren't they?
  23. Chapter 40: Elrond confesses to something, and meets Thranduil's... well, we shall call him a servant, for appearances' sake.
  24. Thank you, CL Glad you enjoyed it! My Elrond muse informs me he'll always have reservations about the three of them, especially if they're egging each other on in some nefarious activity that involves him being helpless to stop them.
  25. Thank you, Bronx Well, I may have taken some liberties with Elrond's endurance, but I am glad it still works well enough. Who would dare disobey dom!Thranduil? He loves it really, for all his protestations.
