  1. lol... CL has been reading my Torchwood fanfiction. *hugs Jack* Awww... I didn't mean to make you sad! *hugs* I had to put the characters back where I found them (it's one of the curses of writing fanfic)! I am glad you enjoyed their threesome, though. Mmm... Jack/Ianto/Andy. Been years since I wrote them. They're a lot more contemporary, and it gives a writer much more to play with in the way of props. Oh, I miss them! Especially Jack, who is definitely the 51st century equivalent of my elves, what with his poly-amorous ideas and his complete lack of jealousy. Andy made the only decision he could in the end, and so it becomes a little dream, a fulfilled item on Jack's List. Many of the items on that list involve risk in one form or another. This was a hefty one. But really Ianto will be okay – he has Jack, and Andy can't remember so he can't be hurt. Diary of Thranduil (aged 30) Dear Diary Today me and Pengolodh and Ada and Naneth went on a long journey to look at the sea. It was very boring! Pengolodh picked up some sea shells and seemed a little bit sad. Ada said to him something about Maglor. I do not know who that is, but Pengolodh was unhappy, so I told him to forget whoever it was and then we made sandcastles. I said that Ada and Naneth were the King and Queen, and I was the Prince. I told Pengolodh that he would have to pretend to be my horse. The sea was cold and iron grey and it ruined my castle. I do not care to see it again for as long as I live, but Pengolodh says I will want to one day when I am “weary” enough go to Valinor. I told him that I do not want to go there either and that I will never be tired. On the way back, I fell asleep, and Pengolodh laughed at me and carried me back inside my house... but I was pretending all the time. There you go! G rated too! From me! That doesn't happen very often...
  2. Yay! Thank you so much! *hugs* I was hoping this dream sequence would show them both, and I'm glad it does. I think something of this variety is a natural next step for Legolas, though I'm not sure he realises the difference between the desire to admit to his relationship and the desire for humiliation. Perhaps Thranduil will enlighten him? Thranduil has had many dreams of this variety, but perhaps not quite like this. It was indeed a warning. But I think when all is said and done he will take a lot of heart from it. Prophetic dreams are sent; they don't come from nowhere. At least, not in ME. Lol, yes, that spider is so dead. *nods* Thank you again, Bronx – been dying to post these chapters for ages and ages.
  3. Chapter Eleven and Twelve: Our two lovers share a dream, written from each point of view. Have fun! The Dream
  4. North Yorkshire council have voted to allow fracking, despite 4000+ local residents against, compared to 36 for. Sad day. Watch the UK become a real time Easter Island now. :(

What are they thinking? How can the council go against the mandate of the community they represent? And for such a dangerous practice as fracking?

  5. Wow, thank you so much, Bronx I'm so glad it's good to read. I enjoyed writing Thranduil's perspective on this scene. It's a good exercise for me, but I wanted to do it too. Perhaps I've inadvertently ended up teasing myself with all of his young unfulfilled yearning Ordinarily, I wouldn't describe Thranduil as patient, but really his patience is a match for Elrond's. Elrond really does fight him every single step of the way, even long after this scene has been and gone, but Thranduil will have everything in the end.
  6. Written for TAFKAB, the scene from the Battle of Dagorlad from Thranduil's point of view. Thranduil at Dagorlad
  7. Thank you, Bronx! And you are welcome Thranduil is a plucky young thing, precocious and bold as brass, but here he gets a bit in front of himself. He dives straight in expecting to find his teacher, and of course he finds only his father's lover. He really didn't think it through at all. He was lucky, indeed. Elrond could have unintentionally hurt him, or worse, found out that he was doing so. I dread to imagine what Elrond's reaction would have been to that. I'm so glad you enjoyed reading! Thank you, CL! I really hope I managed to make you smile with this... *hugs* lol, he did get more than he bargained for, but he is just incapable of resisting temptation, and I expect he felt rather pleased with himself for getting away with it in the end, despite all the frightening moments. He just never stops to think whether he should do a thing. Since this is AU, we'll let Elrond wonder about that bruise, and about his vague patchy drunken memories of what he got up to in the middle of the night. And eventually he'll convince himself that he's imagining it all, because surely Thranduil wouldn't! Even though he knows very well that Thranduil definitely would. *evil grin*
  8. For CL and BronxWench, then (yes, I did it): Wine and Wishes Oh, Thranduil... you silly young elf!
  9. My Elrond muse thinks you are both entirely evil As an aside, however, I am considering a case of Elrond mistaking Thranduil for Oropher, after Oropher has gotten him quite, quite, drunk. That could work, as an AU of course. Thranduil, I suspect he would be quite the opportunist, even young as he is. Thank you so much, Bronx! As I was writing Thranduil here, and before, I found myself remembering how it felt to be *that* young, and how black and white everything seemed. For Thranduil, he simply does not understand why it is impossible, and of course he takes it personally and to heart. Elrond should have expected the upset, really, considering his abrupt manner. As for Elrond, there really isn't even a smidgen of interest in him here. He protects; he does not harm or injure. Thranduil is lucky, really, because by denying him, Elrond gives him room to grow and mature. Though he is entirely oblivious to those seeds... silly Elrond!
  10. Thank you, CL Lol.. now I don't know what I'm teasing you with. Is it Thranduil getting his Elrond at last at Dagorlad, or slightly underage Thranduil getting what he wants in his dreams? I'll write the adult Thranduil at Dagorlad version, and see how satisfying it is. I suspect it will be quite fulfilling.
  11. I don't know what happened, but somehow I wrote something today. On request. So, here we have young Thranduil, losing a sword fight against Elrond. Crushed Poor sod.
  12. Thank you, Bronx! Maybe it was news to Legolas that he not only enjoys being with his father, but also enjoys the nature of that relationship, including the punishments. Gives him something to think about, I'm sure, especially in the light of Thranduil hinting he wants that from Legolas in return. Legolas will get home eventually, and we shall see who reacts in which way. But first, next time we will be posting two chapters in the place of one. Thranduil and Legolas share a strange erotic dream, and we helpfully wrote both of their points of view. Thanks again – your reviews make me smile my head off every time!
  13. Thank you so much! Switching between the mindsets of Thranduil and Elrond, there is a vast gulf here. There isn't even a hint of desire in Elrond at this point. Thranduil really is just a child to him. Lol! My Thranduil muse insists that if there is a 'celebrity' among the two of them, that 'celebrity' is himself. Really glad you enjoyed it, CL. I love hearing your thoughts. I need no further proof of the evils of autocorrect. That will stand forever.
  14. Chapter Ten: Legolas goes to capture the poachers.
  15. Hi – and thank you for reviewing! I'm so glad you're enjoying our little foray into the forbidden. We've had discussions between us about why Thranduil and Legolas go so well together, and I think the canon work shows them as quite isolated. So regardless of the incest angle, it's a natural thing to want to put the characters together in a more satisfying relationship rather than have them lonely. Thranduil really does love Legolas a lot in this fic, in all kinds of ways. He'd hate it if he thought Legolas would have to endure the same kinds of losses he has. More to come soon!
  16. Thank you so much, CL! Firstly, sorry for the lateness of this response. The notifications for this story are sent to a shared email address, and I sometimes forget to check it. Oh, Thranduil wants much more from Legolas than an eager submissive, though Thranduil really does retain complete control here. I'm so glad you enjoyed it – we really loved writing that scene. Just realised we are well overdue for posting the next chapter too! We will get one up today, I think
  17. So today my dog got nettle rash and came up in massive lumps. I took him straight to the vet, who gave him an injection. Good. Until it's ten past ten and the lumps are reappearing, and there is no vet until morning :( *worries*

If it's allergies children's Benadryl can ease the symptoms. Happened to my dog after we discovered her basil allergy.

Also consider giving the dog a bath to wash off the contaminant.

Thanks, guys :) In the end, all I had in the house was Claritin, so I gave him a tiny bit of that, and he could sleep. Going back to the vet this morning.

  18. Thank you again Bronx! So wonderful to wake up to more of your words. Really, Elrond should have sent young Thranduil away upon discovering that, but I think at this point Elrond does love him like a son, and he doesn't want Thranduil to disappear from his life (if that makes sense). I'm sure Thranduil forgave him eventually. And forgave him for the “timetabling” which amounts to Thranduil disclosing all parts of his life to Elrond, at a time when he's learning to want privacy. They're very subtle things, and I'm certain Thranduil internalised them, because who can he talk to? I'm sure Thranduil enjoyed the increased attention, and I'm equally sure he wished that attention would turn the way of his dreams. All while Elrond remains completely ignorant of what he's doing. Silly Elrond!
  19. I'd just add that while your story has an audience, as far as your two characters are concerned, their only audience is each other. So... if they're discovering this new thing, I'm guessing they're past the stage of being embarrassed before each other (at least, mostly). So if it's awkward and difficult, have them notice, have them laugh with each other about it. They are the only two people in the room. Let them enjoy the excitement and the fumbling... sometimes, that's half the fun. You can break the tension between them without letting up on their anticipation
  20. Thank you! Poor Thranduil, having to read all that out. *hugs him* Thank you Oh, it takes him a long time to get there, but yes... he was quite happy about it. The roleplay scene in The Teacher with the cane is easily my favourite scene (as the author, so I don't know how much that counts). I'm bound to Elrond's pov, but there was this stunning joy coming from my Thranduil muse. I tried as best as I could to get that in. You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it
  21. Ok.. done and I am probably going to Hell. (sorry Thranduil)
  22. Thank you, Bronx Yes, I kind of like the irony of Elrond being partly responsible for certain things... it satisfies the evil author in me. To be fair to Thranduil, this is Middle Earth – he can't possibly be expected to understand the temptation the apple represents. Lucky for him (or perhaps unluckily), Elrond appears completely immune at this time. Oh, the ficlet. I had it there, at the bottom of the story under a heading of its own, and then realised I'm about as comfortable with minor2 as Elrond is, which is not very. It was written in a very naïve style, being as Thranduil is only “fifteen” and a sheltered fifteen at that. Maybe I'll add it on, and then immediately make myself forget. Your reviews always make me smile, and this cheered me up on a day when I badly needed it – thank you *hugs*
  23. Young Thranduil and Elrond in Lindon. Got to feel sorry for Thranduil here. Elrond really isn't interested at all. Trangression Warning for this: NoSex, Minor2, UST. Those tags have been added to the story summary too.
  24. Thank you so much, CL! Yes, Elrond will miss Celebrían more than life once the ring is destroyed and Sauron can no longer return. Poor sod. Well, as to Thranduil – while I was writing I had the distinct impression Thranduil had been up since the crack of dawn, wandering around in his wood using bluebells to summon one particularly defiant half-elf. I hope it gave you pleasant dreams.
  25. I had this terrible thought that Melkor might practice the kind of torture on Sauron that he later uses to transform elves into orcs. And he'd demand Sauron remain on the physical plane while he did it, which would mean an additional layer of torment. It absolutely fits for these characters. What might it mean? Well... for one it might mean Sauron is completely capable of taking Melkor's place later on, becoming the new Dark Lord. It's a good job my writing list is so long, lol.
