So here are the stories I'm spending the most time on right now: –"Sharing DNA”: I expect to get the third and final chapter off to beta early next week. –”Casino Night": One chapter down, two to go. The next chapter will take a while because it will be fairly long and because writing it requires me to do quite a bit of math. –"Itch Versus Scratch”: This is a The Ghost and Molly McGee fanfic that I may have mentioned before. I expect to have the first chapter (of four) ready for beta pretty soon after "Sharing DNA” is finished. –"Augmented^2”: The Big Hero 6 sequel story nobody asked for. By my rough calculations, I should be ready to start sending chapters to beta in May.

I’m uncomfortable not only with real-person fanfic but fanfic involving characters played by real people. So I stick with cartoon fandoms. And mostly Western ones, because I’m not a big enough anime fan to have seen a lot of the ones people tend to write about. The only non-cartoon fanfic I’ve ever written was about Adam and Eve, because that’s not a particularly recent fandom.

Is there any word yet on when we'll be able to use bold type in the archive, or restore punctuation to the summaries that can't retain it for some reason? Also, when those functions are restored, will all the problems fix themselves (eg, Will every "39" in a story summary become an apostrophe again?), or will we have to do it manually? And how about correcting the spelling of "Originals"? My phone reads the current spelling as "orgy-nals," which is fun and all, but...

So here are the projects that are receiving the majority of my attention right now: –”Retro": This one has just one chapter left to go, but finishing that chapter will take a while. I hope to accomplish that by the end of the month. (Good thing it's a leap year. ) –"Sharing DNA”: This is a Hamster and Gretel fic that's all about the incest, baby. Chapter 1 should be ready for beta some time next week. –”Casino Night": This Loud House fic is set in the same free-sex alternate universe as "Big Lincoln, Little Lincoln,” but the two stories are otherwise not really related, so I hesitate to call this one a sequel. I hope to get chapter 1 to beta in the next 2 weeks. “Augmented2": I almost hesitate to mention this sequel to my Big Hero 6 story "Augmented” because even though I'm giving it about as much attention as the three above-named stories, I still have a lot to do on it before it can see the light of day.
