    Well, it seems I forgot one important thing about NaNoWriMo: It no longer exists. Or at least, the site that was its headquarters no longer exists. I might still do it--or do a “lite” version of it--on my own, but I’ll miss the encouraging emails and live write-ins.

    I’m pleased to say that chapter 2 of “Precocious” is off to beta. I had thought that I would be ready to start posting my Star Trek: Lower Decks fic “Time’s Error” this month. But I’ve decided to hold off on posting chapters of that one because I’m going to do NaNoWriMo in November. The pace of my smut writing will be a lot slower then, and I don’t want to post chapter 1 and then leave people waiting for over a month for chapter 2.

    The great thing about writing Star Trek fanfic is that there’s almost nothing canon about Vulcan and Orion genitalia, so you can pretty much make their bits work however you want.

      Well, the only canon bit I can think of is from ST6.  “Not everybody keeps their genitals in the same place.” after Kirk kicked that other fellow in their “knees”.

    I haven’t mentioned this story before, because it was a relatively recent idea, and it didn’t take very long to write because it’s a one-shot. Turns out it’s AFF’s first Zootopia fanfic, which strikes me as weird and wrong given that Zootopia came out 9 years ago. Anyhoo, it’s called… Traffic Stop Summary: Most days, Officer Judy Hopps is a consummate professional who would never let her rabbit mating instincts interfere with her work.
