It’s absolutely possible, and I’m quite sure I’ve been guilty of this myself more than once. I think it’s an entirely unconscious response to someone we find attractive, or interesting. We want them to like us as well, and therefore, we flirt.

I’ve always been a fangirl of yours, you know that! Tell the ornery Argentinian he’s been remiss in poking me, although I still adore him, too. But you did a wonderful job with all of it, and four-ways are never easy to write, especially when you add in extra legs. But everything built beautifully, from Antelarion growing progressively less formal to his wonderful edgy banter with Hemathion. Can I confess, I laughed out loud when Antelarion told Faradrella she could only have the drakes? It was wonderful! Anyway, I’ll look forward to more of this one!

What usually causes that is a repeating character, like using “******” or “xxxxx” for a break in the chapter. The Rich Text Editor has a horizontal line function you can use instead when you are posting the chapter, which won’t cause this issue.

Just a reminder, since obviously the heading at the top of this search thread isn’t enough… We do not allow anyone to pass around hard copies of any story unless they are themselves the author of the story. In he case of stories which have been removed, by the author themselves or by the staff of any site, we expect you to respect the reasons behind the removal and to not distribute the story.

As we’ve discussed, your story would need to be entirely your own work, with no discernible elements from the original work. I know it’s frustrating, and I do sympathize with your desire to work with the original author, but unless that member responds to my inquiries, my job is to make sure his work is not compromised in any way. It’s been nearly six years since that member access the site last, and the best I can do is to attempt to contact him again, which I will do.

If possible, can you email me with the email address you are using to make the account? You can email it to tos_team@adult-fanfiction.org, which is safer than posting in an open forum where spambots might read it.

Hi, We’ve had a few code updates recently, so what I’d recommend is that you clear out all the old AFF cookies which might be in your browser, clear your history and cache, and close your browser. That should clear the issue, and let you reset your password.

Personally, I’ve never liked the whole Celebrity subdomain at all, since it just bothers me to think family and friends of these people might come across some of the stuff in our archive. Given that no other subdomain has made me cry from the sheer dreadful nature of the content, I might be a tad biased, since only Celebrity has squicked me that badly. But I do think it’s a peculiar form of adoration to picture celebrities one supposedly admires in the situations in which they find themselves in the morass of that subdomain. Just sayin’...

I’m not seeing any record of staff action regarding this story, so I suspect the author removed it. Sorry!
