  1. Do you get a dropdown menu appearing there, with a little down arrow next to the field?
  2. Right now, we're midstream in a code rewrite, so what we recommend is that you add the story you want to follow to the Currently Reading or Recommended Reading sections of your archive profile. You can also check the author's profile and see if they do a mailing list notification, which some of our authors do. I'm not a coder, so I can't say for sure what form it will take, but I do believe we'll have a way for readers to get updates when the rewrite is completed. As far as telling if a story is complete, that will depend on the author. Most will post an epilogue, or add an author's note at the end of the final chapter to let readers know it's finished. We do have a "Complete" tag, but it's not mandatory that authors use that tag. Some do, and others don't want to go back in and edit the story details to add that tag.

  7. Okay, let's see if I can make this any simpler to do. Open your Control Panel in your archive profile. On the left side, go to the subdomain where your story is published. Press "Edit" You will go to a page with two dropdowns. In the first, select the title of the story to be moved. In the second, select "Edit Details" and click the "Edit button. You will go to a page with fields, like the top of the page when you first published the story. Go to Category. Choose the first category, which is usually the fandom. Then you can change the next category to General from Male/Male. Click the "Edit Story" button to save the changes.

  9. You can easily move your story around in the subdomain yourself; The steps are outlined in this FAQ: http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/index.php/topic/5381-how-to-move-your-stories-around-within-a-zonesubdomain/
  10. Yes, that is correct as well, and you will see that in our FAQ on disclaimers.
  11. You might want to post this in the Search threads, if you think it exists, or in the Challenges threads to ask that it be written, if anyone is willing to take you up on it.

  16. We do not allow requests for hard copies of stories here on the search forums, unless they are made by the author of the story themselves. In this case, the author being unable to make such request, we won't permit requests for hard copies at all since we have no way to determine what the author's intent was concerning the stories.
