  1. We have, as of today, opened the archive to new postings and updates of stories. This is still in a testing phase, so there might be a few bugs. If you run into anything, let us know in the Archive Tech Support thread and we’ll see if we can resolve them.
  2. Okay, deletions should be working again. Give it a try, and if you can’t delete the stories, let me know and I’ll do it for you.
  3. Actually, tags have their own field, which may or may not be working at the moment.
  4. We’re having a few hiccups with the fields, it seems, and it doesn’t appear to be possible to delete a story or a chapter, either. Trust me, I’m aware that there are issues, and I’m not going to be growling at anyone while we’re doing the rollout and reopening. Of course, once we’re back to as normal as we ever get, I’ll be dining on miscreants once more.
  5. I’ve only gotten to a handful in the Story How-To section, and I did update the images in the FAQs I edited. It will take a while for us to get to them all. sadly. But we’ll persevere!
  6. I’m tagging @manta2g on this, since editing tags may not be live yet.
  7. Hmm. I’m not able to delete those stories either, and I’m getting the same message that the story is deleted. Yet when I refresh the page, the story is still there. let’s see if @manta2g can shed some light on this.
  8. I’ve updated some of the FAQs for adding a new story or chapter, and editing chapters and story information. If the FAQs aren’t clear, please let me know!
  9. Hi! On the archive home page, click the three lines on the upper left to open the dropdown menu. Then find the link for Archives, and click that. A list of subdomains will appear, with a green symbol to the right. Find the subdomain for your story, click that green symbol, and you should see a list of the stories you have published in that subdomain. That‘s your Story Manager page for that subdomain. Under the three dark green links is a pair of white fields. The first one allows you to select a specific chapter using the dropdown arrow, and the next one gives you the option to edit the chapter. Click the green GO! button once you’ve selected the chapter you want to edit, and you should be able to edit the chapter in the Rich Text Editor. When you're finished editing, click the dark green EDIT CHAPTER button at the bottom of the RTE to save your changes.
  10. Alright. Because you’ve all been amazingly patient, I’m post here to let you know that @manta2g has unlocked story/chapter posting. FAIR WARNING: This is a test, so make sure you have back-ups of anything you post in case we need to do a lockdown and restore again. But—I’d say cross everything except I know this crowd won’t—let’s hope it goes smoothly! And again, thank you for your patience. I have to say, as frustrating as this whole ordeal has been, you’ve been such a supportive group of people, and it’s just been a treat for me to know you were supporting our little site.
  11. I’ve sent you new links via email.
  12. The account has been deleted as you’ve requested.
  13. I sent you a new password reset in email. And this is a link to your profile: https://members.adult-fanfiction.org/profile.php?no=1296900830
  14. @Deadman is right. We’re not quite ready to allow our members to upload stories or chapters yet, but we’re getting closer. For the moment, we’re re-enabling certain things to see if the site remains secure. If nothing goes wrong, our coder can proceed with unlocking more features. I don’t want to even guess at a timetable, though, because I’m not privy to what she’s doing, and how much work she has in front of her.
  15. The archive is accepting new registrations once more!
  16. The archive is accepting new registrations once more.
  17. While we’re still in read-only mode as far as posting new stories, it should be possible to register for an archive account now.
  18. The account and stories have been deleted per your request.
  19. As long as you keep the details down to about 10 lines or less, I think you’d be fine. What we don’t want is to have story content posting in the forum, because the forum isn’t the place for it. This is where we go as authors to ask questions, drum up support from fellow writers, share tips, commiserate, and bitch.
  20. I’ve sent you a new password reset link via email.
  21. My heart just aches for everyone in Turkey and Syria, or who has loved ones there. I will be making a donation to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, although it will be just a drop in the bucket in the face of such disaster.

  22. Okay, you’re all merged!
  23. I’ve sent you a new password reset link in email, which should work for you.
  24. That could very well have been it. Manta was able to adjust our software to take into account VPNs, which has helped immensely. And on a personal note, I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and sound!
  25. I’ve emailed you a new password reset link, which should work just fine.
