Right, despite my lack of activity of the AFF front. I have still managed to garner three review for this thread; And a comment from an old review here on the forum; This a good news/bad news situation. The good news for me. Is that apparently you all enjoy my writing and plotting even now, quite a while since I started it. The bad news for everyone is; I don't thinl its likely Desperate Times Desperate Measures will continue further than it has. I know the plot is no where near a conclusion and I know everyone seems to like it. But its more or less run its course for me as far as inspiration goes. It's bad news for the people who've been reading and its very bad news for me because I don't like leaving things undone. Sorry everyone.

Well i'd like to say i do it for authenticity but I'm british so its just called 'writing normally' for me. But i have been known to wonder and rephrase things based on whether i think they're authentically British and late 90s teenagers would say or do them or if they're stuff I've picked up from the saturation of imported american culture over our own roots. Dang, that makes me sound so snooty.

According to imdb she didn't appear after Toad, Witch And Wardrobe. Then again she didn't appear very much between Shadow Dance and TW&W when they were definitely supposed to be dating anyway.

Don't know of any Harry/Susan fics Though I'd like to see them. It could Only Happen to Harry Is my favourite Harry/Many story. Involving Hermione, Pravati, Fleur Luna and Tonks. But only if you don't mind a certain amount of Weasley bashing.

I'e been a bit lax in responding to reviews lately. Rest assured i do read and appreciate all of them. But if they're just saying 'I like this' I appreciate the sentiment but don't have much to talk about in way of reply. Well this is a comment I didn't expect to get. You seem to be saying the bad guys are too competent? The reason they find Harry and Pansy after the wedding is the same reason they find the trio in the cafe in the canon: they said the word 'voldemort' and the taboo the DEs set up fed them their location. As for Umbridge then end of OotS shows that she can set up spell to detect intruders, such as when she catches Harry in her fire place. I'm not sure I understand your comment on wards. I've mentioned them being set up at several locations mainly the Malfoy's and Parkinson's manor house. Admitted this are details about them that are not in the canon books but make sense to me. Also since I've started to read the Dresden Files my magic systems been influence more and more on that. Which does have Wards and magical thresholds and all sorts of things. Hope this clears somethings up for you if you're reading this. And i'd love to discuss it further.

OK so I was unsure whether or not I was going to reply to this or not until I saw this bit about me personally. So I'll just say this; I've never 'verbally' attacked you at all. Since this is a text based medium. Secondly and more seriously, if you feel I have personally attacked you I apologise. That was not my intent. I often disagreed with the opinion you've expressed in your reviews, sometimes very vehemently but I have always tried to say only that I disagreed with your opinion and then explain the reasons why I thought they were wrong. Attacking your argument and not you personally but if I have stepped over that line I am sorry.
