I was not very computer wise back in the early 2000 era. I used the same floppy over and over again, thinking it would hold everything. But when I got a new computer and went to download my files, several files were gone. After I got the files back from my old computer, I started to buy floppies and use them once before getting another stack and using them. I now have my stories on a 1gigabyte data transfer and I never have to really worry about it again but I will when it starts to get full. Beth

Wow is right! For upgrades on this forum would take hours or at least couple of days to get done. Hopefully, we can handle a small downtime, when that day comes and not freak out too bad over it. I know I'll be reading more stories during the downtime or at least writing more. Beth

He'd start out by going to the second typing field found in the Edit Profile section of his account, and entering the name of the Archive between the proper command brackets as such: [archive]Inu[/archive]. Directly after that, Narut0r0xMyS0x would find the Story number (this is the number following the equals-sign at the end of the Story's url) and tack it on, with a little more code, after the Archive command. The coding would look, so far, like this: [archive]Inu[/archive][story=#######] -- of course, he'd use the actual story number instead of number signs. He would type the Story Title (we'll say it's called "My Favorite Inuyasha Story EVAR!") itself sandwiched between the "story" open-and-closed commands, as such: [story=#######]My Favorite Inuyasha Story EVAR![/story]. So so far, for Narut0r0xMys0x's recommendation of his favorite Inuyasha Story, the coding would look like this: [archive]Inu[/archive][story=#######]My Favorite Inuyasha Story EVAR![/story]. To add a following link to the Author who wrote "My Favorite Inuyasha Story EVAR!" (which is actually optional), Narut0r0xMyS0x could follow up the above coding with a link to him (in this case, we will call the Recommended Author "Iwillnotsit"). For the most part, I listen to music or watch TV even while I am writing just to give me something to watch or listen to when my muse is starting to slip away something usually will draw it back to writing or that I put that story aside and wait for the muse to return which usually lasts only a day or two. But my LoTR trilogy is lasting for a long time. Occassionally, I will get a bite from the muse while I am with the horses but when I return to the house, it's gone again. But I did write a HP story that lasted for over four years before I finished it this past year. The name Harry Potter and The Bungling Teacher. I'm sure that one day, my LoTR muses will return and let me finish the six stories that I have half finished. Beth
