I actaully like putting my answers to my reviewers in my Author's notes. It makes the reader know that I saw their post and either took their suggestion or thanked them for the idea with the story. True some stories get a lot of reviews so a personal reply is probably can't be done but a general thank you to all the reviewers is a good one too. This reply box will probably be considered in the future upgrade of the site. But for now, use Author's Notes to reply to your reviewers. Beth

I saw in one of the other forums linked in our forum a request for a Transformers 2007 movie catagory and one for the cartoon version Transformers for the cartoon section. Could these two catagories be created? Thanks! Beth

That you have seen or thought about. The strangest pairing that I thought about was Kenpachi/Unohana pairing. I doubt no one has written about those two and it would be kindof cute if they got together. I'm actaully doing a roundarobin with that pairing in the Bleach catagory. Beth

NightWing, you don't have to worry about it anymore. It is fixed. Check your page out now. The formating that was up is not there anymore and your stories are back the way they were before. Beth

As far as my investigation of the site goes, it seems just to be localized with your stories. None of the others are effected by it. Quite weird, I say. I would load test chapters and then try just copy and pasting the copy from your story to see if it is different than the ones you uploaded and now showing the problems. That's all I can think of to help for now. Beth

Jaxxxy and the tech support from Nexcess are dealing with the site downtime. This is an unexpected event and it should be back up as soon as possible. Please be patient. Beth, Jaxxxy's assistant

They didn't want to get fired or explain why they did what they did to Jaxxxy, so they quit and fled the site, deleting all the groups(yes, they did delete the groups) but for a couple, without reason. In a way, I would like to know why they didn't try to really get a hold of Jaxxxy to find out where she was or what was going on that was making her not be online during those times. They had her phone number too so there was no excuses in not calling her or that they didn't want to call her because it meant time away from working on the site itself. Beth

The site gets most of it's traffic in evening time when all the adults are off work and are on their computers, just itching to read our stories, thus the reason for the slow loading time. Beth

DA never elaberated why she didn't put them back up, she ignored my questions about it when she was questioned about it. But I understand that the coding would have to change a bit for it to work with the new format that the site is in. I also don't agree with recommending other stories from other sites, keep it in house. Beth

She quit the group, she was never fired. It is possible that is her handle here, but she was never fired from the site, she quit and placed everything in DA's hands, including the coding to the recommended stories which DA refused to put back up. Beth

Okay, the illegal thing that they did was hijacking the site and the Nexcess account from the legal owner of the site - Jaxxxy. Greg at Nexcess reverted the hijacking and placed Jaxxxy back as owner of the site and the Nexcess account. And the domain name is in Jaxxxy's name, not theirs, never was handed over officially if it was done the correctly. Run a domain search with Godaddy.com and run the name adult-fanfiction.org through it and see what it turns up, Jaxxxy's real name, phone number, everything you need to get a hold of her if someone was curious about who owned the site really. You can call her and ask what's up with the site. She is being honest with you all as she loves this site just as much as I do and I am a former owner of the site. Beth

Well, it was not discussed at all on the mod group where all discussions concerning the site should be held at. And I was on that group when the silent take over happened and not one word was posted for it would have also been in the daily digest. Beth

Because they wanted it kept silent but if you had check DA's posts before she went unregistered, her sig stated Site Owner and it was done without any type of announcement even on the group that all site mods were a member of and she was not the official owner of the site, just the head tech. Beth

Exactly but done by the four head mods. The domain name never was transferred to them or the site handed over to them legally but they took the site from Jaxxxy. But Nexcess believed Jaxxxy over those four and returned the site to her. Beth
