When the page cannot be displayed comes up hit refresh as that should connect you to your page as some computers do that with pages. I'm sure the techs will be on your problem as soon as possible. Beth

I opened my Halloween yahoogroup digest e-mail this morning and what do I find? Not a post about Halloween or anything that deals with Halloween but an e-mail trying to get people to come join a website for STD girls who just want a hot boy to fuck and who knows give the disease to the boy too. WTF? Why the fuck would you go about promoting that shit on a group that is for Halloween and it says so right in the title of the group and the description? I even asked the group owner to turn the group to moderate new users as that way no spammers' posts will be able to be seen by the other members for after and before Halloween we will normally see spam messages from spammers. I know it means the group is active but it really turns a few people off. But geez, spam a Halloween group with a post to screw girls who have STD? Who would even dare to fuck those girls? Maybe the hard up for girlfriends or friends with benefits type but geez, I would never have sex with someone who I knew had an STD. You don't know what type it is unless the bitch tells you upfront what it is and you decide to either go ahead and fuck her silly or refuse to even fuck her. But I don't see why people would even frequent those websites for those people. I wouldn't even if I could have sex, fuck one of those women even if I was a lesbian, I wouldn't even touch them with a ten foot pole. Sorry that's just how I feel about it. If you know you have an STD, keep your panties on and go finger yourself or play with a dildo if you get horny. It is your fault that you got an STD and you have to live with it till you croak unless it is one of those temp STD which I do not even believe are real. Because once you have a STD you have it for life, right? Beth

Concrit is your friend, not your enemy. I have seen so many people give off hate filled concrits to writers who write fanfiction, actually there are groups on LJ or message boards, who fill their communities with that stuff. Basically, if you need to give a concrit to someone, do it how you would want to get a concrit back from an editor or a beta reader - politely! Actually, a beta reader and an editor are basically the same person but with different titles. Have you ever heard of this line before?, You get more bees with honey than with vinegar? I see a few people nod their heads behind the monitor, so how would you rather get a nasty concrit telling you that you suck as a writer and you should just go crawl back under the rock you fucking came from or a polite concrit telling you where the mistakes are and how to correct it? Yes, you would rather have a polite one, as that will endear you to the person who gave you a concrit of your story. And if they ask to become your beta reader or editor and they gave you a polite concrit of your story, TAKE THEM UP ON IT! They wouldn't have suggested themselves unless they knew they could work with you to help improve your story. I even sent a story that I had written way back in the year 1985 to an editor back in 2003, she liked what I wrote and told me so but also she told me that I had many grammatical errors. She fixed the story with the mistakes made clear. I fixed them and ended up writing 30 more pages to the story itself! She was thrilled when I told her that I had written 30 more pages to the story. She loved what I did with the story. She was a professional editor with whom I paid a good deal of money to edit my story. You may not need to pay your editor or beta reader to read your story, unless you are planning on publishing it one day like I am hoping to do one day. But basically, concrit a good one can be your friend, instead of your enemy. A beta reader or an editor, depends on what you call them, can be a huge help to you, the writer to improve his or her story. So if someone offers you their help in editing your story, take them up on it. You can improve with a little help from an editor or beta reader. Who knows, you might be the next Stephen King or the next J.K. Rowling. But please don't become another Anne Rice, who refuses to allow her stories to be edited by anyone and look at how bad they are and yet no one really minds, the mistakes that she made in her stories. So I end with this comment: Concrit is not your enemy if you let it become your friend, you will have a valuable asset in your arsenal of writing tools. Beth

I don't hate ethenic immigrants, Eve. I never said that in my post. If they do not want to learn the language of their new country they live in, that's the problem because everyone wants to bend over backwards and make their lives easier when really they should make the attempt to learn even if it is a little. That has to be Russian. Basically speaking: If you think, then easy to learn language from the scratch you must be the idiot. Я знаю немногую. I know a touch of Russian because I have a friend who is Russian who immigrated here knowing few words, but she learned at one of the schools in Chicago and kept on learning her new language of English as she came here on a student visa, she wants to remain here so she's learning so she can be a productiive member of her new country. She's also when she first came here 18 years old and now 24 years of age. Guess what, she's going for her citizenship test next month. I hope she passes her test. Beth

Here's an idea, the scene where Lot (I think it was) offers his virgin daughters to the men of Sodem so they would ignore his guests would be a good story to write. There has to be one man or two in there who would take the girls and screw them and not the guests that Lot has within his home. Beth

If they showed that they are making the attempt, I would be more then welcoming to give them a visa to remain here. The more attempts at learning the country's main language English by those who are coming here to live and work will probably make them more acceptable to getting visas and work permits. I want people to come here and live but also make the attempt at learning our language at least a few words would be nice and who knows they may find a person who will assist them in learn more. Don't even get me started with the Mexican immigrations. I know they do the jobs even the blacks won't do anymore, but seriously, why don't they fucking try to learn the English language if they are going to stay here for more then a few weeks? Seriously, how hard is it for them to at least make the attempt at learning our language but now it's like everyone has to cowtow to them by putting up Spanish words on almost everything around. Why not tell them if they want to work here in the States, learn our language or go back home and stay put? We are acceptive of you, but some of us older members of the States don't understand your native language would it not be too hard for you to learn a little of our language? We learn your language so when we visit your country we speak your language so we can communicate a little with you. Why can't you do the same here? Beth

I guess mine are a mix of things. I don't really have a style that I do all the time. Wherever the Muse leads me I follow. Beth

I have several stories in the fires, but what really halted them was the Muses go on vacation with them. So I go to maybe two or three stories that I can actively work on and wait till the Muses return from their vacation. I had finished one story that took me over four years to complete! Four damn years to complete! But I went back to it over time and worked on it slowly but I managed to get it finished and posted on the net. Beth

I use lists to keep the story titles and summaries straight as I write so many stories in a month that if I didn't write the titles down, I wouldn't know what I was going to do next as in stories. I think lists are a good way to keep track of future stories. Beth
