There are girls who love to see guy on guy action, I think it turns them on even if it is in the written word. Those girls who don't like to see that stuff, must be weird! If the story is written well, the story will be really good and if it is in a fandom that you are familar with or have some interest in reading about. Beth

My grandfather and his mother are/were diagnosed with it and my grandfather is still living at age 87 but he's to the point where he has to repeat stuff several times over, rarely showers(he will take one every ten days or longer) and he will not drink the normal amounts of water a day he needs to keep his kidneys going and he wets himself and he wears the same clothes day in and day out. His wife our Grandmother is starting to lose her memories and she's 84. And she will not encourage him to go take a shower or grab his dirty clothes to wash them at night. She's a meek little old woman. His mother lived till she was 94 and spoke full german till she died in the Northridge earthquake in California. She would accidently drop chocolate chip cookie dough on dog hair covered floors and pick it up and stir it into the rest of the batter. My older brother witnessed her doing that and told us that, never again did we ever eat her cookies again. We pitched them as soon as we got them home. Needless to say it was only five months after we left CA for our home in Missouri did we learn that GPA finally put his mom in a veteran's home. Hopefully Pratchett has plans for what to do for himself as he will be needing the help he can get. Beth

I had a writer's block on one of my HP stories that was going on four years before I completed it. Another HP story has one going for a total of 5 years and I may just delete the whole story since the muse on that story is not showing up anymore and I just do not like that story at all anymore. So I am probably going to delete the story from the datakey and a few other HP stories that I have tried to work on in the past few years and never really took off. Beth

I seriously think parents should be responsible for what their kids do online and should watch what they do or at least check out their history unless their kid is smart enough to wipe the history page off to show only the good sites that they go to. Parents birthed those kids, not the websites. The parents should be parents not their kids' friend. If those people who bowtowed to the demands of the parents, they should have gotten a dictionary out and look up the word parent and tell the parents of the kids who are complaining that you are the parent of the kid, not us, it is your responsiblity to watch the child while they are on the internet or block this site from their computers and the websites show them how to block the site from the computer so no one from your family can get on the webpage that they are on and therefor kept whatever item that offended the parents up. And there are good parents out there who do not duck their responsiblity with their kids. So what do you think - parents who don't watch what their kids have the websites bowtow to them or have the website tell them to watch their kids or block the site from the computer where no one is able to get onto the website? Here are the symptoms of strep throat: Sore throat that comes on rapidly. Difficulty swallowing. Headaches. Fever, sometimes greater than 102° F. A raw, red appearance to the back of the throat. White pus on tonsils. Tender, high lymph nodes in neck. Rash. Absence of a cough, stuffy nose, or other upper-respiratory symptoms. Although by definition strep throat is caused by the Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria, other bacteria can occasionally invade the throat and cause similar symptoms. Other possible bacterial invaders include staphylococcus, neisseria, and Haemophilus influenzae. Stress, overwork, exhaustion, and fighting off viral infections can weaken the body's defenses and set up attacks of strep throat. And like other throat infections, strep throat also tends to occur during the colder months. People usually develop strep throat when their immune systems are not functioning at their peak. Because strep is contagious, treatment is critical since these bacteria can be spread to others by coughing or sneezing. I'm not sure if you have strep or not, Wolfie. Beth

I wish Yahoo would give us back our filters and give us more spam blocking ability to block those who spam us. I am getting tired of deleting 300 spam messages a day and some of them happen to come into my inbox too and I report it as spam too so they know. It is either that their bulk folder doesn't catch them all or that they are dropping the ball on some of them. Beth
