    I’m going to have to leave myself a note, as this user is claiming that their main profile is locked. It’s more like they didn’t activate into the new system after the password changes, or were not inputting the password allowing for case sensitivity.

Members: Updated members dashboard Members have an account and can log in Email system fixed to prevent email providers from bouncing emails Activation and password reset bug fixed Resend activation option available on login screen (This may be needed if having problems logging in) Notifications system (if enabled in profile) Authors receive new review notifications (fixed) stories in the current reading list send notifications when a new chapter is added (New) Authors can now report & hide malicious reviews Authors can now see who has recommended them Authors can see who is currently reading their stories Authors can see who has recommended their stories Authors can add AFF forum links to review replies and story discussion. Authors can now set stories to only be visible to other members (required to be logged in to read) Members can now report stories directly from the archive for TOS violations. New story manager & editor Users: New archive level search engine New archive level advanced search engine Stories can now be filtered by tags Users are people who use the site without an account. Cleaner interface Robust authors/members search Updated TOS, Content Guidelines, & Privacy Policy Content Tags for AI usage Updated contact form Advertisers: New advertising system. self serve detailed statistics Something to keep in mind, once these changes roll out, you’ll need to manually clear your cache and cookies, or the pages won’t draw correctly.       Yeah, hopefully you’re all pulled through and back to normal. From everything I’ve heard about the flu having it really does suck!

      This particular strain reminds me very much of the Hong Kong flu which I had as a kid.  As they are related, I think that may be why it’s not knocking me flat on my ass as badly as that did.  But still, UGH.

    We are aware of the issues with TinyMCE. Manta is working on patches now, in preparation for a big upgrade in December. -- Manta has patched all the editors. They’re basic, but should work for what is needed.

    Well, one of the big tells I have when my connection is wonky, is playing anything on Battlenet or Steam. While I may be able to login, games won’t launch properly.

    Using my prior example, the book most often hijacked by AI for those videos is Starship Troopers. Can’t tell you how many times I read that as a kid. Then, when they start going into robotics and whatnot, they start lifting from Asimov.

    You may be experiencing what I do. Which is your connection may be unstable. When that happens, the archive draws improperly, or refuses to load at all.

    Agreed. Where you REALLY see AI is in some of those visual books on Youtube. Hubs likes to listen to them. Mind you, I’ve read countless sci-fi books, so when he’s listening, I can usually tell him which book and/or author they’re stealing from 🤣

    The thing that I absolutely loathe about AI generated content, is that the AI trawls the web looking for stuff to incorporate. Makes it so plagiarism will become an even worse issue, IMO.

    What I’ve been running into with this are some issues using Edge. If that’s what you’re using, try Chrome.

    As far as I know there is not a limit, at least not a low or mid range one. However, if you do have transition points as you mentioned, I expect those would make good chapter breaks.

    Yes. Check your browser security settings. That’s what triggers that error code.

    Manta and I both checked. SSL is working across the subdomains and the domain itself. Are you using incognito browsing or vpn or something like that?

    So.  Learned a lesson while upgrading my OS.  Somehow, my personal IP was blocked from the domain.  Manta and I have been pulling our hair out trying to figure out why the hell I couldn’t connect

    I have been down with this nasty flu bug since Monday.  Finally able to move around again.  Ugh.
