  1. It'll happen when we get there for the sort.
  2. Once you click preview story, the next step is to click publish. I just tested the subdomain, and it's all working.
  3. thanks! What I do with new loads uploaded to the wrong subdomain is to delete them.
  4. Cal, can you give me a specific topic and where it's located? That way I can see what's going on. If it's a forum issue, a browser issue for you, or what it could be. But, without more information, I'm stuck.
  5. Both are toast
  6. Forum and archive are two separate applications, so yes, you have to have a login for each, if you want to use them both to the fullest extent you're able to
  7. It was actually misplaced, so I deleted both of 'em. Plus, the first "chapter" wasn't. It was an AN. And that's ALL that was there.
  8. I would suggest starting a topic for your own stories, per fandom. In other words, you have, say, twilight fics you want to adopt out, you post that in books, for naruto, here, as you've done. And so on down the line. You could even go per story if you want. Kind of up to you for that. As far as plagiarism goes, I don't CARE if it's not a published book or something. If it's your work, and it's been stolen (and it's been done here), I want to know that. We have a ZERO tolerance for plagiarism.
  9. Authors could actually post their stories up for adoptions here, in the fan fiction forums (much like you have with this post), for stories that are here to begin with. Sure would save us a whole lot of headache in tracking people down to verify....LOL
  10. Yep, the story is hidden. What you need to do, is to edit it in your user cp. Make sure that you're in the books subdomain, or it will not show up in your list. To do this, select books from the jump menu and click go.
  11. The other thing to bear in mind, is that the archive defaults to the anime subdomain. So, you do need to use the jump menu (located on the left hand side of the user cp) to nav to the subdomain where your story is posted, if it's not in anime.
  12. Glad I could help!
  13. And adjust it for each and every celebrity. The POINT is, I don't have the time, nor the inclination to do this. Nor is it a necessary function to the archive.
  14. Well, that's actually a function in any word processor. Unless you set it up differently, a carriage return (enter) is an automatic paragraph. If you DON'T want that, use ctrl+enter instead, and that should fix it. Since you're copying from Word, be certain to use the "Paste from Word" function, so that it copies correctly from the clipboard.
  15. went from 75 on Wednesday, to 25 today. UGH. Even had snow last night

May you reap what you sow? And may it be pleasant to the eye?

  16. I need you to email with your LOGIN information, before I process. I don't delete without proof that the requestor is the user in question.
  17. First of all, what does auto paragraphing have to do with uploading text? Second, what program are you copying FROM? Third, have you looked at the FAQ for how to add a chapter, which show, IN DEPTH, the different function for the rich text editor?
  18. It would be a whole lot of extra work for something we don't need
  19. I think that's more of a "hook" to draw in the reader out of curiosity. Scanning it, it IS properly tagged
  20. Sounds like The More Things Change by slashtheboyz
  21. It sounds like you're in entirely the wrong subdomain. The archive defaults to anime as the subdomain that you start in. So, you need to use the jump menu, located on the left side of your user cp. Select naruto from the drop down, click go, and then publish
  22. LOL, that's funny! Although, this sounds like a good development, yes?
  23. That's what I'm saying. It's not uncommon for an author to pull a story entirely, to rework it. I see that every day.
