  1. You're welcome. Thank you for complying. You can now safely create another login, and repost your work.
  2. misspelled it. technicalsupport@adult-fanfiction.org
  3. The domain mail is working. Which email did you attempt to send to?
  4. That author doesn't appear to have made it here yet.
  5. using a scanner.
  6. Scan your ID, and the picture of you holding your ID. Then email to either techicalsupport@adult-fanfiction.org, or tos_team@adult-fanfiction.org. Once we get a look at it, we delete it. We only need to verify it once, after all.
  7. If that's true, you need to send us proof of age. How we ask you do this, is make a copy of your photo ID, leaving only the birthday information and photo visible. We don't need to know where you live, or what your real name is, and whatnot. Then, you also need to include with that, a picture of you, HOLDING your current ID, both of which where we can clearly see you.
  8. As long as, after going over it, we don't find similarities to, or references to something which would belong more properly in one of the fanfictiion archives, sure.
  9. Actually, we removed YOU. Because we found proof that you're not yet 18. Do not return until after your 18th birthday, or you will be deleted again.
  10. You would've gotten the standard disclaimer warning which is given to everyone. As I've had many people go over it (since I am very, very blunt) to make sure it wasn't rude, I beg to differ. When I get your email, I will process.
  11. In order to process your request, I need you to email at this address with your login information. Unless a guest poster can prove they are who they state they are, I don't process a deletion. As to the disclaimer thing, that's a rule that has been in place since 2004, if not longer.

    a tenuous grasp

    Author's Naruto story listing
  13. With this editor, you have to use the "paste from word" option. It will then parse all the extra stuff out of the word doc (and there is a lot), while preserving your format. When editing the story codes, when you add the codes to begin with they're added to the end of the summary. So, to add/edit story codes, you select "edit story" and then add the needed codes/tags to the end of the line in the summary field.
  14. We found proof that you're underage. 15 to be specific. As you know, anyone who isn't yet 18 is not allowed to use the site, in any way.
  15. Answered your question in your other topic. Not a bug, by the way. Chances are great that either you browser needs updated, your java needs updated, or both. Also, do be aware that it can take up to 24 hours for a tech support question to be answered, as not only do I work, I'm not on the site 24 hours a day.
  16. First question for you is what browser are you using? Secondly, is your java up to date? To add more codes to the story summary, you have to manually add them to the end of the summary (by editing the story, not the chapter). Use this list, as it shows all the tags and what they mean.
  17. That does happen, more often than one would think. An author decides that this is no longer something they wish to do, and goes about removing it from wherever it is. The one I LIKE to see, is where the author removes something because it's being published. THAT is a good thing!
  18. There's actually not much that was really changed. Processing this one out (as an unstory), and sorry for the delay
  19. Going by the note in your collab author's profile, I've opted not to delete, but let you guys do it. Reviews and rates transferred/added to the new upload. Have a suggestion for you two, if, for example, you want to allow your co-author to add to the story, you can change the "add chapter" feature to yes so he/she can.
  20. How I work a merge is this: First, I adjust the date of the newer story (as it's normally the one being updated) to the original upload date. Then, I transfer the reviews to the one story from the other. Finally, I add in the rates that were recieved on the other story as well. Last step is deletion. As to the workload, I knew, roughly, what it would be when I first started planning this repair. That's not to say I've not found new things that I need to do besides related to it, that weren't apparent until I was actually IN the db. .
  21. hopefully the last day for this CRAP. *quack quack quack*. *sighs* sick and tired of rain...

and the rain is coming again today. It was SUPPOSED to be dry. They lied...

  22. aw man, sorry things have been so rough for ya lately.
  23. thank you. This way you don't lose all the data attached to the older story. For future reference, we normally DELETE double posted stuff as we find it, unless there is a very good reason why. Most common is when the db crashed several years ago and while they were restoring, they also told authors to repost. So, I have many, many, many to merge. LOL

    Dragon age yaoi?

Can ya tell me who he is? hehe, not many people recognize the breed of him . Spambots are a fecking nightmare, so there are things I've had to put in place simply to prevent us being flooded with a ton of posts which need deleted daily. Thankfully, this software has all KINDS of neat toys to make that easier for me.
