Sometimes I think some are chosen for this particular form of "love" at random. Annoying as hell, though, isn't it? Got the PM, will get this straightened out in a bit.

As I said before, with this feature being completely anonymous, the unfortunate side effect is that if for some reason, however stupid it may seem to rest of US (as it generally does), if a person can't get to someone in any other way they've tried, they go for this. The most common reason I've seen, is because a writer writes a particular pair, and since the ones who would've started flaming all the stories for the pair have learnt that they pull that, I'll delete 'em, they use this as a harassment option, going after authors and all their stories. Like I said, stupid reason, but the most common one for this sort of behavior. Send me a pm please or I will forget to look at 'em all again for you.

Point one - one of our clean up crew found this and reported it before anyone else. Point two- I emailed the original author this morning to be sure it wasn't her, as I had mistakenly Hall of Shamed someone a few months back because I could not tie the profiles together. Lesson was learned, and I am even more careful. Point three - as this is something that is not only against ToS, but something that ends up in the Hall of Shame, it had to wait until I got home from work, because part of what I do for this requires being able to modify in the database itself. Not important, of course, as the story is toast. As it should be..

The author plagiarised, that's why the author and all the author's works were deleted.

The link doesn't work as the story was removed. As was the author, since the story was plagiarised.

If you do not have the author's permission, and the author has not put it up for adoption, we don't allow it. Because an author has not updated for awhile does not mean that they're willing to part with their work.

The problem with the disclaimer is that when you fixed the profit, you removed the fandom disclaim and made it a generic character disclaim. It reads What it should say instead, is - I do not own InuYasha or make any profit by posting this story. As soon as you edit the disclaimer in the story properties and fix that, let us know, and it can be unhidden at that point.

You'll still need the searching for fics areas, as those are referred back to when people just want to find something new to read, or are looking for something specific and can't remember things like author names and titles, yet remember story details. As to the search engine, there is one in the archive. You just need to follow the instructions.
