  1. There is a category in the forum for requesting these. Please read the pinned topics, then post your category request.
  2. Story link for above post
  3. Again, the problem is that certain characters are actually things used to make function calls, or to nest function calls. You'll find that most applications do not accept certain characters in user names and what not for that reason.
  4. Touli says in her profile to contact this author
  5. you mean "+" this? That's because php uses that as a function call, so we really can't.
  6. In reference to your other post, UNLESS you've gotten permission from this author to continue the story on his or her behalf, that will not be allowed to happen here.
  7. it's that time of year....
  8. banned and posts deleted
  9. Rules??? We have RULES???? Yeah I know, very frustrating that a simple 2 minute read would prevent much in the way of this, yes?
  10. ...and it's gone..
  11. It's helpful if the forum and archive are registered for, with the same email, as that's one of the ways we verify whether or not a user is in the archive in the first place. Plus addressing is fine, as those aren't disposable. Disposable are things like addresses from mailinator.com, or other services like that. Those are not intended to be checked. Those are used as a catchall for where you don't wish to receive email.
  12. don't feel stupid. Questions are a good thing.
  13. Yeah, if my bank balance was like my points balance, I'd be livin' large!
  14. I'm going to state the obvious here. Academia is different than fanfiction. Yes, we DO apply the above criteria when making a determination as to whether or not plagiarism has occurred. Aside from that, you may not post someone else's story without permission. I don't care if you feel it has been abandoned, or if there is a long time between updates. WITHOUT PERMISSION, taking another's story, posting it as your own and then continuing it is plagiarism. We do not allow this.
  15. I searched all the databases extensively, by title, by author name (what you gave and variants), and found absolutely nothing. You sure this person was on this site?
  16. It's simple. If you do not have permission of the author who wrote the original piece to continue it, it's plagiarism.
  17. Email here with your login information. This is to verify that the requestor belongs to the account in question. As to deleting your stories, you simply login, go to your user cp, and delete them.
  18. I'm finding no record of such a deletion. If you're talking about here in the forum, it would've been deleted as you have no archive account.
