  1. My fault. When creating that menu, I added an extra space. It’s fixed now.
  2. The incognito/anonymous thing is a ONE TIME thing to set the new cookie. It’s all right there in the site news. As to an activation email, if that was sent before the upgrade, it is no longer valid. However, I can (and did) activate it for you. So now all you have to do is let the cookie be set. Then you can go back to your anonymous browsing.

      NWS has updated our forecast here locally.  8 to 10 inches of snow Sunday.  That’s if we get a precip mix.  If we get ONLY snow, it’ll be higher.

  8. As @BronxWench said, there is a difference between clearing cache and clearing history. You want to clear the cached images and files.

  10. You have to disable the incognito/anonymous functions for this part. There’s a cookie the site sets that these functions interfere with. Once the cookie is set, you can go BACK to that browsing.
  11. DO NOT use the Incognito option while accepting the cookies and getting the new software going for you. Once you have done that, you can go back to it.

  16. Manta is our coder and when she makes a suggestion about site code, I listen to her. While I was working abominable hours, BronxWench and all the other moderators picked up the slack for me. For years, all I did was work and sleep. I certainly appreciate the acknowledgement, but, there are others more deserving of it, such as manta2g, BronxWench, Melrick, etc. I’ve only just recently (the past few months) become more active like I should be. It’s taken over a year to recover from the years of overwork.

  21. There are many having issues at the moment. We are aware, and there are things that a user has to do in order for everything to work correctly. First thing, before you proceed. DO NOT use anonymous browsing for this part. You can go back to it afterwards. Be sure to do this from the main page: https://www.adult-fanfiction.org No matter WHICH browser, you must clear cache and cookies for ALL TIME. After doing the clear, close and restart your browser. Finally, you need to force refresh. (Press Ctrl+F5) That should fix the issues. You should be able to proceed once you do that. If you’re getting an error about activation, go to the register link and select the drop down option of “resend activation”. Remember, major software changes generally do require this sort of action. If, after all this, you’re still experiencing issues with the age verification, in Chrome/Edge, press F12 to access the console. You’ll see the exact error being generated. Let us know what it is. If you are experiencing bugs, please post them to the bug tracker. What we will need from you are specific steps you took to get the error, and screen shots if you are able. This will help in getting everything fixed, if there are bugs. DG
  22. As with any new browser based software, there are some things a user must do to use it. First, and foremost, force clear cache and cookies for ALL TIME. That should fix the problem
  23. Couple questions for you: What browser are you using? Have you cleared cache and cookies? Remember, you must do that as a “for ALL TIME” option, or you will not be able to proceed.
  24. One of the things you have to do is to force clear for ALL TIME with cache and cookies. I have been able to login successfully by doing that.
  25. As the software is now upgraded, did you clear your cache and cookies?
