    Sounds like there has been an ip change since the account was authorized. (Very strict security protocol to prevent account hijack.) I'm on my mobile right now but once I get home, I'll be happy to help sort this out. @Kei0523 I'm going be available between 6pm and 9pm central.     Anon reviews are disabled for site security. After 4 months in read only, we did not want to leave any opening for another round of injection attacks.

    Like with search, anything that could be used as part of an injection attack was stripped. I know it’s a bit of an annoyance, but for now please bear with the quirks as I work through the code to re-enable stuff without further risks. The big priority was to just to be able to safely come out of read-only mode.

    Looks like it is the site CSS doing it. The correct tags are saved, but the CSS is overriding the default for them. Will tackle this when not ragged from the day job.

    If you replace the chapter it will fall into the newer formatting, so it will look like chapter 34

    The font type and size are controlled by the site style sheets so that users don't accidentally break page layouts.

      It’s going to be a bit slow, and there is a lot more account security that has been implemented.
      Keep an eye on your e-mail, everyone is going to have to re verify their account and change their archive password.

    Login, then logout and reset password via forgot password. If you can’t log in, you need to e-mail tos_team@adult-fanfiction.org with the e-mail address for your account, and they will send an authorization link you will need to click before forgot password / password reset will work.

      That’s the thing I do like about my current gig… it’s paperwork and signoffs to do overtime, it’s illegal for me to work for free, therefore bureaucratic resistance against having to put in extra hours.  Gotta love red tape!

    While it may seem quiet of the surface, it’s been quite busy behind the scenes for AFF.

    We’ve been busy doing a security sweep of user accounts. Accounts with invalid or disposable e-mails have been purged.


    Currently, we are merging the over 5 k users with duplicate (or more) accounts down to a single account per user.

    My day job has been a gong show of late, troubleshooting AFF's woes has remained on my mind.

    Hoping to start the first phase of unlocking the site this week.  So don't be surprised if you get an email asking to re-verify your email and to change your password.

    Sorry this was my bad, between haste and fatigue I uploaded the wrong version… Fixed now.

    Actually profiles are fine, when locking stuff down I uploaded the wrong file version by mistake, fixed now. Profiles are not created upon registration & activation, they are optional to allow for privacy and can be created at a later date. (current not possible during read-only mode.)
