There is a lot of this in HP Slash Fandom:
Ginny bashing, portraying her as a whore is a favorite theme.
Ron and Hermione turned evil.
Ron and Hermione being good but acting as sidekicks with bad lines.
Pansy bashing, making her to be damb and clingy.
Most of that staff is supposed to make lonely Harry Potter even more lonely. People seem to like extremes, looks like.
How about the opposite trend? As in Draco, or worst yet Malfoy-Senior being nice to Harry and resqueing him from abuse. (That comes after him being raped by Dursleys and having every bone in his body broken by them for a good measure). That is just wrong.
Just thinking that most of this staff is written by teen girls and young adults boggles my mind.
So, I'll write how I feel about that pairing in a journal, right? And then what?
Why? Why did you plant those images in my head, dazzled, you evil girl!
Just knock me out now.
I suppose that buying a less than 1 micron filter would be better than purchasing bottled water cost-wize and quality-wize.
My tap water is pretty clean.
I can see where you are coming from, SJ. Not everyone can do it, though. It would be like performing streaptease, in a way; streaptease of a soul. I am not being critical of it in any way, but heck, personally I'd prefer watching it, not performing.
Hey, Pixagi, the way I see it, people have attributes of all four houses. The Hat picks the dominant trait to assighn people to one. That's what happens to those who just sit there with their mouth open, waiting to be selected. However, those who choose for themselves (like Harry and some others) get to go where they want. Something about choices we make and so on
It's not all black and white at all.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
To be honest, I like all HP books, all for different reasons. But the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone holds a special place; it was the first one I've read and the one which turned me into a HP fan. It was magical, with Harry discovering that he is a Wizard and going to Hogwarts.
Strangely, any tests I've taken came out as: "You are in a Secret Fifth House."
I am kidding, hehe; I havn't taken any sorting tests
If JK will ever write the Harry Potter Encyclopedia, I'll definetely buy it.
