Everything posted by GeorgeGlass

  1. From ConanEdogawa on March 17, 2020 No spoilers!
  2. Chapter 2 of “Twist My Arm” is posted!
  3. Thanks, SWP1. I appreciate the support.
  4. Feeling kind of bummed about my legit writing right now.

    • 25 rejections (and counting) from agents regarding my first book.
    • Stuck on my second book.
    • No good ideas for my third book.

Why is legit writing so much harder than smut?

Don’t despair first and foremost. Rejection sucks but when all else fails you might have to end up doing it yourself.

      Thanks for the support, all.

FS, all of the responses from agents go something like this: Dear George, Thank you for including me in your agent queries. Unfortunately this doesn't feel like the right project for me at this time. I'm so sorry, but this is a pass for me. I wish you all the best in your endeavor. Sincerely, Agent X

There is one bright spot: After posting this status update, I realized that I need to write something that is going to make me happy. So instead of going for another scifi epic, I’m going to try scifi comedy.

  5. Thanks! I expect to be posting chapters every 1-2 weeks, so you won’t have too long to wait.
  6. From RandomReviewer on March 12, 2020 No, no, I already ripped that off in “Multiversity.” Seriously, hope the rest of the story lives up to your expectations.
  7. From Fairy-Slayer on March 11, 2020 I’m sorry, but Fairy Slayer and the Spoilers of Doom was simply an inferior film to Betas of the Lost Fic. Fortunately, the franchise got good again with Fairy Slayer and the Lolis Get Laid. His reasons are multifactorial, for sure. Lincoln didn’t have much opportunity to tell Ronnie Anne anything without risking Lori overhearing. Safer to just go with it. Who invited Luan on this date? Thanks for the review!
  8. From ConanEdogawa on March 11, 2020 Thanks! I got the idea for this story some time after watching the episode in which Lori forces Lincoln to go on a double date with her, Bobby, and Ronnie Anne. I figured that Lori’s psychotic behavior in that episode had a lot of potential for storytelling exploitation.
  9. So, change of plans: Rather than starting "Keene's College Weekend” just yet, I've just posted chapter 1 of a new Loud House story titled "Twist My Arm." Here's the summary: Bobby and Ronnie Anne are in town for just four weeks, and Lori is determined to make the most of her time with her Boo-Boo Bear. Even if she has to force Lincoln to do the same with Ronnie Anne. SWP1, I’m glad you so enjoyed chapter 3 of “For the Price of One.” Plenty more of that to come!
  10. Here, I’ll post responses to any reviews that “Twist My Arm” may garner.
  11. It took longer than I expected (it’s been a busy week), but chapter 3 of For the Price of One is posted at last.
  12. Thanks! Hotness is what I strive for. You’ll be seeing that chapter very soon. And you have a good night, too.
  13. From Fairy-Slayer on March 02, 2020 I like a bit of cultural mystery. “Darmok” is probably my favorite episode of ST:TNG. Or both. Could be both. I have four cats, so I don’t need much imagination for that sort of thing. That was Jomahawk’s request – that she be a total pillow princess until Jace shows her who’s boss. It’s not a good day to be a hamster… Well, she has dropped a hint or two – some of them literally (eg, her garter in the previous chapter) We shall see. Hard to say. Your computational abilities will be severely challenged before this story ends. You can bet on all of that. (Whether you’ll win the bet is a separate question.) Thanks for another uplifting review!
  14. Re: “Wishful” From Sithlordshades on March 02, 2020 Thank you!
  15. Re: “Wishful” From JayDee on March 01, 2020 Given that she's my favorite 80s singer, I have to wonder if I there's a subconscious connection there. If that's the worst thing, you're doing pretty well. Thanks! I wanted to do something different from an alternate spelling (as with Aliss and Angel) or a translation (as with Neva) or just straight-up the same name (as with Moonbeam and Eclipse). Something had to be sacrificed for pace. Thank you!
  16. Re: “Wishful” From Jomahawk2694 on March 01, 2020 I believe in happy endings. I wanted a complication in Jace's interactions with her that Duann and Lady Aliss wouldn't have been able to predict, and that seemed like just the thing (although Aliss foreshadows it a little). That part is in response to something you wanted to include. You'll find out what in the next chapter. Somehow, the real-world sex scenes are especially compelling for me -- particularly in contrast with the fantasy ones. Then the next chapter will be worth the wait, too. Hmm, I have a pretty solid plan for the next two chapters (which I had intended to be the last ones), but I'll see. Glad so much of it is working for you.
  17. Chapter 5 of Wishful is posted! Jace has an intimate meeting with the Benata emissary, and an even more intimate one at home.
  18. So, it looks like chapter 5 of Wishful is on track to be posted this weekend. Other things I hope to post soon after that: Chapter 1 of Keene’s College Weekend. My beta had some notes, which is why isn’t posted yet. Chapter 3 of For the Price of One. The 10th and final chapter of “Make It All Better.” SWP1, welcome back. I checked out a couple of the Big Hero 6 stories you recommended. Hiro’s Puberty had more grammar issues than I could stomach, but Lab Partner was kind of fun.
  19. The 5th and final chapter of Delta Delta Delta is posted! It's the final night of Pledge Week, and the nine remaining pledges are faced with one last big, sexy challenge. And how will Lindsey handle it when Pledge Mistress Gina makes good on her promise to put her and Nikki together for an intimate video? I can't tell you how happy I am to have finally brought this story to its conclusion. As I may have mentioned before, I posted the first chapter of Delta Delta Delta on Hentai Foundry back in 2013, and I actually started writing it well before then. In fact, when I started it, it was purely for my own entertainment, before it ever occurred to me to post it where other people could read it. In other news, the draft of chapter 1 of Keene's College Weekend is nearly complete and will probably head off to beta tomorrow. After that, I'm going to try to focus on finishing chapter 5 of Wishful.
  20. I just meant punishing them for being punished. I prefer to leave that unclear. [Translation: I didn’t really think that part through.] Seriously. I am generally more ignorant of SNL than most people. Never been big on sketch comedy for some reason.
  21. No, not at all. Someone has to drag me kicking and screaming into some faint awareness of popular culture.
  22. Okay, I'm not going to tell you what I'm going to do this week, because I don't really know. But what I'd like to do is finish chapter 5 of “Delta Delta Delta,” because (1) that's the story that has gone longest without an update (chapter 4 was posted back in September), and (2) then I'll be able to start posting chapters of a new story. That will be "Keene's College Weekend," a sequel to "Keene's Really Good Week." Young cheetah-boy Keene spends a weekend visiting his sister, Kiri, at college and gets up to all manner of sexual hijinks with Kiri and her roommates. After that, I'd like to finish chapter 5 of “Wishful,” then the 10th and final chapter of “Make It All Better.” Once that story is completed, I'll start posting chapters of the next new story in the queue, which will be a Loud House fanfic (although not the “Enter the Sandboy” sequel; that one still needs work).
  23. Re: “Tribal Warfare” From Fairy-Slayer on February 17, 2020 I think this is my only other paleolithic story. Although I have an idea for another one that I might write up one of these days. They were definitely spying for nefarious reasons. Pamarr and Cova really aren’t the type to go check out another tribe’s dudes. They pretty much consider non-Foothills types to be lower than dirt. I felt like the rape scenes would be more engaging if the warriors weren’t just faceless, all-the-same barbarians. The theme of this story, if it has one, is that barbarism is in the eye of the beholder. So much of what the Tall Grass view as good citizenship or praiseworthy behavior isn’t necessarily viewed that way by others (ourselves included). You’re reminding me of one of my junior high teachers, who talked about going to Catholic school and sometimes getting whacked on the back of his hands with a ruler for bad behavior. Then he’d come home, his mom would see the marks on his hands, and she’d yell, “You made those holy women angry?!” and beat him again. Lothar? That guy from Defenders of the Earth? In any case, thanks for the review!
  24. Re: “Tribal Warfare” From JayDee on February 17, 2020 I had to Google that reference to understand it. It's like they won some kind of reverse Darwin Award, where instead of taking themselves out of the gene pool, they got themselves forcibly thrown into it. I was trying to create some contrast between civilized and barbaric, and how easily the two can be confused. Thanks for the review!
  25. “Tribal Warfare” is posted. Summary: When the Tall Grass tribe finds an enemy’s daughters spying on them, their chieftain orders her male warriors to punish the girls…all night long.
