I've read both stories carefully, and I cannot find any instances of rape or even non-consensual contact that would justify these stories needing the RapeFic tag. Obviously, this is a tag and a topic that we take seriously, but I really cannot find anything that would require such a tag at this time.

You can let people know that you have this thread by posting it as a short AN in your next chapter, or adding it to your archive profile. I find it never hurts to remind people that they don't need to be registered for the forums to read and post in this thread.

My own best typo was years ago, when I was just starting out as a volunteer chat host online. I was actually hosting a chat, with the head host supervising, and someone new popped into the room and asked the topic. It was a general chat, so I promptly typed, and sent, "Welcome, XXX! No topic, just a little shit-chat today." Did I mention this was supposed to be a G-rated moms website?

I'm going to second Melrick here. I've gotten good ratings for a no-sex flash fiction, and I've gotten my share of bad ratings as well. It really depends on what the reader is looking for, and maybe they hated my pairing, or thought I was violating canon too egregiously. Some people like graphic descriptions, and others prefer more polite terminology. But in the end, I write what fits my story and if people choose to rate me down because of that, so be it. I pay more attention to reviews than ratings, to be honest, and I love good constructive criticism, which you can't get in a rating.
