Hi. Your story was not deleted. It was hidden because of the self review that has not yet been removed from your review boards. You would have received an email at the time the self review was first noted, and I emailed you earlier today regarding the story being hidden for the self review. In the email I sent to you today, there is a direct link to your review board. The subject line of the email contains the id number of the review that you need to delete. Once you have done that, you can either post here or reply to my email, and we can restore your story to visibility. Thanks!

As best I can tell, the author pulled all their stories from the site with no indication as to why. The current profile link is here.

@eternallostlove: Please email technicalsupport@adult-fanfiction.org with your user name, the email account you registered with (as best you remember), and your current email account. You can request that your email address be updated, and that the validation letter be sent to the new email address. We're getting a great many requests for assistance with the new code, so be patient with us, and you will be helped.

'Recommended Reading' confusion.

Hi! Your old profile is still accessible. I'm going to put in a link to mine, and where the numbers are in mine in the browser bar, copy and paste the numbers associated with your profile. That will bring up your old profile, which is read only. But if you open the new profile in another tab, you should be able to transfer the information manually. http://games.adult-fanfiction.org/authors.php?no=1296892487 -
@DemiGod: First question: Have you cleared all your cookies and restarted your browser? The old cookies are no longer working and the new cookies cannot overwrite them. Second: Are you using the link from the validation email? Please make sure you're following all the steps outlined here: http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/index.php/topic/29622-brand-new-new-code-and-other-updates-read-me/

Apparently, I've forgotten which email I used...

The email address we have for you currently is a yahoo.com email address... does that ring a bell? I'd rather not post an email address here in an open forum, but if you email us as tos_team@adultfanficiton.net, I'd be happy to tell you what we have. -
Hi, Pooka, and welcome! We're a generally harmless bunch, and only bite if asked nicely.

Hi, Shunskitten. What you need to do is to contact technicalsupport@adult-fanfiction.org, and give them your email address and pen name. Request that your multiple accounts be merged. They are handling requests as quickly as possible, so be a little patient, and you'll be able to complete validation once you're merged.

@Astronemalover: There could be several things happening. First of all, you need to clear all the old AFF cookies from your browser Next, you need to make sure you are using the email account that you have registered with AFF, and not another email account. Third, make sure that you have only ONE archive account This topic contains links that will prove helpful: http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/index.php/topic/29622-brand-new-new-code-and-other-updates-read-me/

Welcome aboard! We look forward to getting to know you!
-
The first question we need to ask is if you received the validation email that would have been generated by the system. Depending on how many requests were in the queue, this might have taken up to an hour to be received, and if you have not received it, we suggest checking in your Spam or Junk folder in case your email program moved it there. Once you receive the validation email, click on the link within the email and follow the instructions from there on.
-
@killerman83ca: That's a little vague. Have you read the MUST READ instructions and validated? You can find the instructions here: http://www2.adultfan...the-new-system/

@MorteGami: Hitting the enter key should not have been an issue. I do it frequently myself because my fingers are faster than my brain at times. I am showing you as a member, at this URL: http://members.adult-fanfiction.org/profile.php?no=1296906172

Unfortunately, if the stories were deleted from our database, we will be unable to retrieve them, either. I'm very sorry.
-
@MorteGami: I'm told there was an issue with the way Chrome handled cookies, so that may do it! If not, let me ask one more thing that my fuzzy brain forgot last night...the initial login, when you are entering your email and password for the first time, is done in the fields at the center of the screen. Once you've logged in, you can use the upper right corner fields in future.
-
@MorteGami: Not at all! The only other thing I can think of would be to clear your cookies and restart your browser, and see if that helps.
-
@MorteGami: If you look up in the upper right corner of the home screen, you will see one of two things. Either you will see two fields, one marked email and one marked password, or you will see Welcome MorteGami. If you see the fields, try inputting your email address and password. It may just have taken some time to process through.

@kiya: I am told that as long as you had turned on the email notifications for new reviews before the upgrade, you should still get those.

I hope I have the right forum this is about my text

Jennifer, this may help... http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/index.php/topic/29622-brand-new-new-code-and-other-updates-read-me/ It does discuss the formatting issues that have been caused by the new archive code rollout and the ways you can fix them... -
@kiya: The number of reviews and ratings should still be visible in the story listings within the archives. The new code is being rolled out in stages, and many of the features that have disappeared will return as further upgrades are implemented. In the meantime, the archives will still show updated stories on the first page as it always did. I'm not sure if the email notifications for reviews are still working, however. I will find out and update here if I can.
-
@kiix: This link does not require you to log in to the forums or archive to view: http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/index.php/topic/29595-logging-in-for-the-1st-time-in-the-new-system/

Glad to hear it!

The first thing to check is if you responded to the validation email that would have been sent to you. If yes, then look up top on the upper right corner, where there is a field that asks for your email, and another for your password if you are not logged in. If it says, Welcome, [your name], then you're logged in. Either click "My Profile" or "Home" and check it out.

Thank you! We've notified the author about the chapter needed removal.
