  1. Neither that story title nor that author pen name were deleted by this staff for being underage. If she told you she was, then she used a different pen name and the story had another title.
  2. No prob. The first book she lifted from was Bewitching the Werewolf by Caroline Hanson. The second was The Battle Sylph by L.J. McDonald.
  3. RogueMudblood

    Enemas

    The Children of Atum
  4. Please read this and see if that's what you're talking about. If so, it wasn't based on the novel, it was copy-pasta with name changes.
  5. wierdmeijin - there is an e-mail on the profile
  6. Twisted (JennMarie) and the first in the series is Traded. She mentions the titles of the others in her ANs.

    Akamaru?

So..... It's polite to ask Apollo to go to jail because of a sense of entitlement?
  8. If it was by evilchild, then the story was deleted due to the author being underage at the time of posting.
  9. Never Too Late by Goddess_Evangeline ?
  10. If I type PaSSwoRD then I have to type it that way every time. It won't accept password or PASSWORD or pAssWOrd Case sensitive is exactly how you typed it - upper case or lower case for each letter is recorded by the software.
  11. SnapesOnlyOne - you have two accounts. Please allow up to 48 hours for DG to merge them. Thanks!
  12. searching for "babysitter" in title this is what came up: The Babysitter [Areio] Erotica > General Never Too Old For a BabySitter [satinJazzDoll] Erotica > Het - Male/Female The Babysitter [Driven] Erotica > Slash - Male/Male The New Babysitter [HappilyDepressed] Original - Misc > General The Babysitter [Raven] Erotica > General Don't tell mom the babysitter's fucked! [Val] Erotica > General Their Favorite Babysitter [Darth Gnosis] Erotica > Het - Male/Female Babysitter Sister [amnimal] Original - Misc > General (edit to remove link to story written while author was underage)
  13. May I also state that perpetuating ignorance by continuing to use the pentagram in such a manner doesn't actually indicate to any of us that you are aware of its origins or meaning? As to the issue itself, I would hardly think that Richard the Lionhearted would consider his family crest to be an evil symbol, yet the Muslims of that era would certainly consider seeing that banner flying above one of their cities to be an evil thing. The symbol on the banners would be the crest of the army's leader. (See this image from Mulan) Try this Google search. If you don't like feudal Japan, try a different Asian nation.
  14. I would also like to point out, that in the past, Christians have used the pentagram as a means of locating the five wounds Jesus received on the cross. It is linked to the Star of David (the six-pointed star) as well as the Christian cross. It has its origins in Greece, and the symbol has been used as part of the Wu Xing in China as a means of connecting the elements. This symbol and ideology is used in Feng Shui. I suggest if you want to use something indicative of the Japanese culture that would have historical/mythological significance, try Googling something else.
  15. For clarification, the author's name is dextrousleftie. As Sheireen pointed out, please review the above topics for more information.
  16. I actually do vaguely recall, from several years ago, a story posted in the AU section here that was Draco/Hermione that had a similar plot. Whether it's still here, I don't know. I read it only once, and I don't find it on my old recs list, which could mean it was removed. I've been going through my list and taking off the ones authors deleted for various reasons. Sadly, none of the terms I've tried have turned it up in the search engine. The one I'm thinking of, though, was a one-shot. How many chapters do you recall?
  17. Yup - it's all fixed! Yay! Thanks!
  18. I tried to review, and I got this: I did review chapter one; I am trying to review chapter two. I attempted to leave the review three times, and got the same message: Database error: error: Duplicate entry '3001398881' for key 1 each time. Yus, I'm logged in (using the upper right boxes ) I did try logging out and logging back in and got the same error. Error occurred using Google Chrome Version 24.0.1312.56 and Firefox 5.0.1 There is no cache at all on my Firefox (it empties on closing).
  19. Teresa, are you logging in at the center, or the upper right? There is a known bug with the center login. Please log out and then login to the archive here using the boxes in the upper right.
  20. Just curious: why are you using our forums to search for a story you say isn't on our site?
  21. I will also add that we have not yet sorted Inuyasha sub-domain. However, as you can see looking here there are pairing subdivisions already in place.
  22. Please do not use this board to ask for copies. Whether posted here or elsewhere, when the author removes them, we ask that you respect their wishes and do not pass them around. As for Branwen777's reasons:

Generally speaking, the main reason authors in the originals section pull a work is in order to publish it. That being the case, I'm fairly certain that neither the author nor her publicist would be too thrilled had you saved a copy of the work.

It appears the author deleted it. Here's Aini's profile.
