If it was by yaoi agent, the story was deleted because the user was 15 when it was posted. However, that story was deleted almost two years ago now.

As you are issuing a challenge based on someone else's story, that author would have to give permission. Now, harems themselves are very common, so if the challenge is not for material that was specific to the story that was removed from FFN, that would be a different matter entirely.

To give you a bit of background, there were several crashes over the years. At one point (and I didn't know this until I ran across the oddest of author's notes and asked DG about it), the archive was read-only on the older works. So in order to update stories, a lot of authors just re-uploaded them.
